Tucked away but quite close to city centre this is a cosy little venue with live music and great home brewed beer! Did not eat but the food menu (snacks) looked tempting'

Great little treasure of a venue in a picturesque village. Intimate atmosphere- dogs and child friendly. Fantastic food and service Great value and it’s good to support small family businesses

First time visitor on business trip. Staff very friendly from reception to the staff serving breakfast. General decor looked very dated with fading and discoloured paintwork, however the day prior to my departure the was a painter getting to work in the building I was in. Only had the full English breakfast which wasn't self service, didn't have any evening meals there.

Walls are super thin in the rooms so I was kept up by someone next door in 117 snoring ridiculously most of the night. There was a regular beeping sound all night which was annoying. Intervals of about 20mins maybe...i didn't time it. There were no blinds in room 119 so you had to keep the curtains closed otherwise people in the carpark would be looking at your white bits. When I eventually got to sleep, I was woken up at 0500 by someone leaving their room outside and banging their bag all over the place. It was like how my mam used to hoover iat 0600 in the morning when I was a kid. Food was okay except for the vegetarian risotto my partner had which tasted off. Staff there said it was lemon juice but I'm a keen cook who uses lemon juice frequently in my dishes. It wasn't lemon juice. The pillows were no thicker than the width of my toothpaste and the bed was extra firm which was fine for me but I'm sure it's a strong choice for others. The shower was good though. There was also questionable things wiped on the wall at the side of the toilet. Possibly snots. When I arrived, I was told oh if you cam through the website we'd have matched Expedia price and given you free parking. It would be good if the site explained this because we did check the site out first. We may have missed it. We won't be going back again. The lady at breakfast was lovely as most staff were. Room and quality of sleep was terrible though. Stick with a Premier Inn. You know what you're getting. Oh and the taps are so close to the basin, so it's a struggle washing my man sized hands. Maybe that's why someone wiped their snots on the wall as they gave up trying to wash their hands properly.

We went for breakfast and it was really rubbish. I ordered eggs Benedict. What I got was a bap (not a toasted muffin) cut in half with a piece of bacon on each side. On half I got an overcooked egg, on the other side all I got was boiled egg white with no yolk. To try and cover it all up, hollandaise sauce was slathered all over the place. We ordered kids toast with Nutella. Weirdly the toast came with margarine on and then a pot of Nutella as well. My husband ordered the full English. Super greasy and bits burnt. All in all, won’t be going back and was absolutely not worth the money. Would avoid like the plague!

Booked mid week for Sunday lunch at 1.00pm.hitel restaurant rang an hour before booking to say 'not doing Sunday lunch today, due to kitchen issues'!very disappointing. Also noticed menu has been reduced significantly since we last went, although price has increased. In desperation,we managed to book at very short notice for lunch at another hotel, which was superb. The Ansty Hall charges £10 per person for any cancellation.Perhaps they would like to pay us £10 compensation per person for cancelling.Really not worth dealing with them!
