Have to say The Royle never ever disappoints sadly as a family we don’t get to eat here as much as we would like due to work life etc but Sam and her team are exceptional always attentive always go that extra mile to make sure your looked after and always first class service and food! Today we had a special family afternoon nothing was too much trouble and we also wernt on any time schedule to have to move tables due to another reservation thankyou to all credit where credits due… A special mention to Fab also what a lovely professional young gentleman nothing was too much trouble at all Thankyou x

Fantastic Sunday lunch. Great food, attentive service, and a lovely atmosphere. Can't ask for much more really. Although it's about 40 miles from us it was well worth the visit

We visit Bridgnorth two or three times a year and we always make sure we stop here for the fabulous breakfasts .. and also the cobs! We absolutely love the new addition of the seating area overlooking the river, we wanted to sit there all day. Can’t wait to come back. Thanks Ridley’s!

Stopped at the campsite next door. Unable to eat in the pub - as they don't allow dogs, but they offer a great take away service. Used on the first night as we were tired after the journey. Pub and food service was very busy,...

Popped in here on the way back home with my Dad and we both had the cod and chips. Have to say they were probably the best I’ve had in a long, long time! Chips were cooked from fresh not frozen and the batter on the fish was crispy and light. Their breakfasts are also really good and it’s spotlessly clean inside. Many thanks!!

Excellent Sunday lunch, quality, quantity, presentation, atmosphere and staff. Reasonable prices & wines also. Good parking and lovely surroundings. We go about once a month weekdays also. Menu changes every few months so well worth a visit

Arranged to meet a biker there for breakfast. Pass the café many times in the past but never stopped there before. Ordered a normal breakfast with a mug of tea at a cost of £9.00. The tea was like tea but the breakfast was very disappointing. on the plate there was a fried egg obviously cooked in a pan filled with oil ( rubber egg ), a large portion of chopped tinned tomatoes, a spoonful of catering quality baked beans, two rasher of bacon that appeared to be boiled rather than fried or grilled and two large sausages that I would be surprised if they contained 5% meat. All edible just! Sorry ladies but I will just be passing by in the future

We went here for a meal for my mums birthday 9/1/25. First impressions was this… a lovely greeting from one of the servers who addressed me a Muslim women with my none Muslim family with an Islamic greeting I appreciated that so much as it was very respectful. Second impression was the smells and atmosphere of the restaurant very warm and welcoming. Third impression was the speedy service they provided drinks within the first 5 minutes of taking our seats. The servers came every 10-15 minutes to check in with us and our meal which I must say was the most incredible food I have ever had. Two portions of tapas styled Thai meal for two of us, mixed grill platter, railway lamb curry, pulled tikka chicken burger and a lovely prawn dish. Incredible especially when the nanna were lovely and soft and packed with flavour. The chips were so addictive you must get a bowl each. We couldn’t stop munching on them. Once our meals were done they promptly came and took the dishes away. And just before ordering our desserts the kind and generous owner and his crew came out with an impressive passion fruit cheesecake with a candle for my mum and sang happy birthday to her this truly made her day. We appreciate the simple kindness that the owner and the crew gave me and my family. We will certainly come back especially with the treatment we were given. The sticky toffee pudding with cream was delicious mum said always her go to. The vanilla cheesecake was a winner for our table of 6 and the chocolate tart with brownie pieces I want to say eat one bite you’ll be wondering where to buy it for yourself at home it was that delicious. Again thank you so very much for the amazing service and the kindness you show your customers. May business continue to grow and keep getting better. Even if that’s possible the food was incredible.

Today we visited for a breakfast sandwich and a cup of coffee and were over the moon with what has been done at the Danery since we last visited. There is now a wonderful car and bike themed cafe on the side of the already beautiful country pub that serves the most amazing breakfasts and sandwiches. We had bacon and egg and sausage and egg and two hot coffees. The food was cooked to absolute perfection! Hot and fresh and service was super fast!! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the pub inside, and the outside seating area was full of happy faces, I can only assume equally as content with their food and drinks as we were! We will be recommending the new cafe to everyone who is traveling this way and without a doubt be back again for another fantastic sandwich that was such good value too! Thank you and see you soon !

Booked for an 80th birthday private dining. Food was only surpassed by the service. Would highly recommend and will definitely return for a meal.

Rude staff couldn't be bothered food was awfull tasted horrible burnt toast poached egg was dreadful staff are rude and don't care that you get dreadfully food

What a great place - delicious home cooked food at really reasonable prices. Service was really good, no complaints at all. 100% recommend
