Following the fantastic Woosiefest last October we brought the mums here for their special day.A warm welcome on entry. Blazing wood burner stove in fireplace. Very rural and cosy.Unusually the selection of meats was amazing! Beef rare or medium, lamb, pork, turkey or veggie plus all the trimmings.Portions were most generous and roast pots fluffy inside and crunchy outside. Veg cooked to perfection and service swift and first class. The price ? Very very reasonable indeed. Sue and Chris the Owners worked very hard always pleasant and smiling. All .um received a complimentary bunch of daffodils. A very thoughtful touch.Another little gemstone not to be missed.We have two weeks here on holiday so will make the most of their menu.

Already booked for a return visit, Sunday lunch today was perfect, one of the best we have had when dining out, the roast beef was so tasty and tender, excellent choice of vegetables all cooked to perfection, our next visit will be in the evening, looking forward to another fantastic meal.
