The best restaurants serving British food in Dudley West Midlands

Not the review I wanted to put. I was aiming to attend for lunch today on my day off. With my daughter and mom. I walked in at 2pm and sat on the table waiting for my mom to ask for a high chair for my daughter. I waited 15/20 mins or more for a high chair. As a member of staff said "it's outside". I know they've only got one high chair, which I fully understand as there is limited space. Due to this me and my mom didn't order food just in case the high chair was in use by someone else. So, when I finally received the high chair. I went to order food to be told "the kitchen is now closed" and I said when did it close? And the lady said "just now" and I said well I've been waiting for this high chair now for at least 20 mins and I didn't want to order food in case someone was using it outside? The staff unfortunately didn't care that I was waiting for so long so then I couldn't have any food? I've been coming to the tea rooms for a long time and I love their afternoon tea. But unfortunately the service I received today was horrible. The last thing I wanted to do is write this review. But non of the staff apologised.

Great little place. Friendly staff, great burgers, good selection of beers.

Really busy for a Sunday night, not been here for a long time really nice atmosphere.

Was really quiet in there but it was a Tuesday night. Went for my dad's 80th birthday. The staff were really friendly and did everything they could to welcome us. Had a selection of meals which were all tasty. Would definitely recommend and would go again. Thank you to the 3 ladies that made the celebration a great family evening

Superb little BCA pub 100 odd yards from a Bathams, wish it was local to me. Its dog friendly, to be greeted with a warm welcome and a good array of real ales. Decided on Titanic Choccy Vanilla, kept and served to perfection. Its pubs like this that deserve our business, look after them.

Great coffee, friendly staff, excellent second hand bookshop and a really good cause. Highly recommended. Cheapest good coffee in town.

Sorry to say our last visited. I'm disabled so gwt a bit flustered. The service was confused and rushed. So I ended up with food I didn't really want. Rather than a fuss I said I'd have the fish anyway. No big deal. The fish I however I found to be greasy. The table lay out I couldn't get my walker around easily. Overall a very disappointing visit. Good enough to eat but no not good enough to enjoy and certainly not go back.

Since my last review the food keeps getting better , the pulled pork sandwiches are mouth watering and i even tried a veg samosa i want another one now, seema and disha are really good cooks and look after the premises well would highly recomend a visit

Happy to have found this restaurant and pub. Easy location with plenty of parking. You can enjoy indoors or sit outside with ample seating. The staff were very engaging and happy to assist. They he menu was varied and our group had a variety of dishes and found them to be excellent. Would definitely come back here again.

Food is very good from here. The chips are the best and very reasonable prices. Lovely people.

Meat was barely cooked veg and roasters were terrible. Went there a few years ago food was lovely place looked proper rundown..won't be going back

Not been here for years, booked online, but when we turned up they had no record of our booking, even though we had an email confirmation. That said food was fine , service ok , experience was just nothing special. I am only being honest, staff were friendly. My wife enjoyed the Tandoori Duck dish, which she hadn't had before and not seen it anywhere else.

Terrible place, says open until 2am but when you turn up they say if you have not been in since 11pm Your not allowed in??? Manager a complete joke!!! Avoid at all costs!!!
