Absolutely beautiful food served piping hot & extremely great value for money whilst being excellent quality & the portion sizes were very generous. All staff were also very friendly & welcoming. I would highly recommend as it was one of the best pub meals I've ever had

Loved this pub went there with my cousin sadly he died now I got some nice memories with my cousin there beer was nice love the canals i can't really rate the food because i never tried it but I'm sure it's delicious check this place out

Absolutely beautiful food, highly recommend the fish and chips and hunters chicken, kids pizzas are the best value for money meals I’ve ever seen on a children’s menu. Staff are very friendly. Will definitely be back very soon!

Came here yesterday after a lovely day walking our dogs. We only popped in for 1 drink but it was such a lovely atmosphere that we stayed for a couple more and ordered food too! Staff and customers really friendly and chatty. My daughters were especially fans of the pub dog who came out to the beer garden to meet my 2 dogs! Food was great. We had a veggie pizza and chips and a kids burger and chips. Good value and quick service. This pub is in a great spot on the canal and especially nice to be able to sit outside in the sunshine. Thank you for a lovely afternoon and we will definitely be returning!

Had a go at my 13 year old daughter for using the toilet? disgraceful establishment. they pushed her out the door when she tried to wash her hands. Disgusting manager and disgusting place

Great place and literally on my doorstep!! I always stop here when walking my dog along the canal as they are really dog friendly too providing water and bowls for the dogs. It is such a picturesque place to stop at with the little beer garden at the back admiring the views. Really accommodating and such friendly staff! Their cobs are delicious and drinks are greatly priced! Always feel welcome here!! Thank you

Place itself great. Arrived 5.45 pm and tried to order food told stopped serving even though says 6pm on signs. Drinks not badly priced cobs very good. Some staff's attitude not good can't say will return

Stayed in our campervan in car park while on a course - great location next to the towpath of canal. Welcoming hosts and friendly locals - and superb value-for-money meals and drinks. During our stay we had the scampi, the cottage pie special, rump steak, and liver and onions - all first class and generous portions. Will definitely return anytime we are close by! Thoroughly enjoyed even though we were here for work reasons! Thank you.

Decided to try the new menu - created by Nicola. Food well cooked and plenty of it. My husband had mega mix grill which did beat him. I had lasagne which came with chips garlic bread and salad.

Went here today for Mothers Day meal. What a lovely meal it was. The meat was so tender and the plate was full. For £9.99 also got a free pudding . I chose lemon tart. The presentation on plate was very proffesional. The service of the staff was also excellent and friendly. And they gave all the moms a bunch of flowers free too. Deffo worth a visit.

Generally it is a fine, family friendly, Pub. No Hot Food throughout most of the week (seems to be) and some cask ales on tap (that's on big +). Nothing special, but when you visiting nearby canal and you are thirsty you do not have much choice in this area

Sadly on arrival we found that there was only one meal choice available as they were in the process of running the kitchen down to provide a new menu of food. We chose not to stay. Inside looked pleasant enough though.

We had a fantastic meal and a few drinks at The Tenth Lock recently. We were welcomed by Nicky and her very helpful staff and the food was very good with a wide selection of ales, beers, wines and spirits. We'll definitely be going back!

All round an amazing pub, management are so welcome and run an amazing pub staff so friendly and can have a good banter, food you can’t fault an ant wait to see the new mean that’s coming soon, I’ll definitely be recommend to friends and family sue ruby and the gaffe Nicola are so welcoming will deffo be back keep up the good work

As rough as it comes. The owner (old blonde woman) is so rude and nasty, not the right person to be running a pub. Will never be returning, absolutely disgusting experience. They let customers behind the bar which is unprofessional and obsess over younger boy customers it’s weird.

Staff were friendly and welcoming, pub interior is a high standard and very clean, good choice of drinks, the fish n chips are amazing !

We heard the food was really good so we popped in for a bite to eat. The food was really nicely presented and cooked perfectly. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. The location is scenic right next to the canal. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

First time visiting the tenth lock yesterday and it certainly won’t be my last. I popped in on the off chance with a friend just for a drink on the way past from doing some shopping. Wr ended up stopping for lunch as the food looked that good 😍 we definitely wasn’t disappointed, the fish and chips was to die for (which is hand battered on-site, because I just had to ask 🤣) my friend had the steak and ale pie which is on offer on a Monday £9.95 for a pie & drink - absolute bargain!! We were lucky enough to meet the owner Nicola, (what a wonderful lady) who was working behind the bar alongside another lady who was equally just as friendly and polite 😁 the pub itself and the toilets were absolutely spotless clean. We managed to have a quick peak outside which looked just as equally inviting, I’m sure it’ stunning during the summer overlooking the canal. Me and my friend are already planning our never visit 😁 overall what a brilliant pub with a warming friendly atmosphere, if you haven’t already been it’s definitely worth a trip!!!

Our first time at this pub last night, food was really good and the staff were friendly and welcoming and it’s also dog friendly. Husband loved the cod and chips.we will be back again.

What a great little pub I read the reviews for earlier and I could not disagree more the manager is so helpful and kind she does everything for charity and thinks of everyone and to have people slander her over a cordial is rediculous not her fault what’s on the till and she is by far not a robot even tho she works like one keep u the good work best pub on the Delphi by far xxx

This bar staff charged me £1.95 for a pint of soda water and lime? when all pubs either charge 60p, 50p or even at the wetherspoons they charge 75p.. I was shocked that she asked for £1.95 when it's only fizzy water and you pay for the DASH OF LIME i asked her why so much ? And I wanted to talk to the manager why £1.95? She said she is the manager. I was shocked.. i said so if I want a pint of lager is it going to cost me an extra 1.95 for a dash of lime? Her excuse every time was "the compuper said so, so thats what its says" no logic just dumb, so I'm reading what the computer says? omg I'm in shock. Hence to say I went to the next pub and got my drink for 60p.. it's a hot day all I wanted was to cool me down.. Now shes saying (look her response!) Its like shes a robot "errmm the computer says no 🤪) You knew how much SODA WATER IS which is ZILCH! Nada, nothing! Yet you still asked for £1.95! For a dash of lime that was 50p! you should have corrected it at the time and be a better manager, I'm surprised you haven't lost your role.. bad bad bad... and now your saying you would have corrected it at the time? I asked you on numerous occasions to pls think about what your charging? You still kept on saying the computer says so! I walked away and went the toilet to calm down and i came back asking your intelligent bar man a reasonable "can I have a pint of soda water with ice" he poured it for me with no payment. I thought sod off with that lime shot for a game of soldiers lol way too expensive and bad management.. you know the customers are always right and your EGO got in the way

Found this pub from a canal trip years ago. Super place (we’ll forgive the tv) with well kept beer. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We will return Ruby!

Staff were lovely but the toilets were gross, luckily they let my daughter use the accessible ones. The garden is in need of some tlc, benches are rotten and infested with insects

Always a fantastic day or night in this pub everyone’s so welcoming and the food is amazing Not only are the view from the back looking over the canal and locks so thing you have to see but Nic and the staff are a credit to the pub! 100% I would recommend to anyone whether your there for an afternoon meal overlooking the canals or some karaoke with king Tom on a Saturday night 5 stars from me.

Had a lovely time here when we went Saturday 20th may. Service was great I had gammon chips egg and pineapple. I really enjoyed my meal and the rest of our family group enjoyed their meals burgers and sandwiches with chips etc great place to go with a good choice of food and the desserts are gorgeous and staff are very helpful and pleasant . Just had a lovely meal here with family. Nice clean canal side pub with warm friendly service. BBQ chicken burger, fries and chocolate fudge cake were lovely and delicious. Hobgoblin Gold cask ale was kept very well. Tasty, refreshing and perfect temperature. Highly recommend a visit.

Nice location at the bottom of a 9 flight of locks. A very friendly welcome from the girl behind the bar. We didn't eat but the beer and cider we had was fine. The menu is typical Marston's fare.

Went in to have a meeting. Was ok, but a couple of gents were quite faul with their language and made us feel uneasy.

My 1st visit lastnight we only had burgers the fries were lovely and burgers ok I wasnt too stuck on the buns though they were like frozen and defrosted the bun was hard on the the bottom, having said that it was edible and not too expensive, the locals were all welcoming and a positive visit around. I met a friend in there that told me it has just changed hands so they are off to a good start

What a lovely place. Staff go above and beyond and are really friendly. We have eaten here several times and cannot fault any of the meals we have had. The steaks are always juicy, tender and very tasty. We have not found anywhere that comes...

Great friendly pub, a pub you can feel safe in. Most of all it's Doggy friendly. What more can I say, we won't go to pubs that aren't fur baby friendly. ❤️💜
