Expensive - £3.80 for a pork bap and it wasn’t very nice at all. Would recommend a pork nap sorry l. This is the only thing I brought so not such about anything else they provide.

Lamentablemente un gran error. £ 11 para un café promedio, un tibio chocolate "caliente" y un bollo de queso rancio duro de roca era demasiado caro para tan pobre hada. La mesa no había sido limpiada de los clientes anteriores. Afortunadamente pedimos dentro y trajimos la comida fuera de nosotros mismos, pero otros clientes parecían tener algunos problemas para dar sus pedidos a los jóvenes empleados que obviamente tenían problemas con alguna nueva tecnología que llevaban para tomar pedidos en las mesas. No volveremos a ir.

Came in for afternoon tea and cake. Small selection of sponge cakes on display but no labeling and noone serving. You que at the till,they ask what cake would you like...? Two teas and two slices of cake £14. 15 mins later it arrives at your table...£4.95 for a slice of cake ... outrageous! No forks to eat cake with and no sweetener. Tables are laden with dirty crockery, totally oblivious to the waitress 's toing and froing with costomers orders. Yet another negative review. Are these reviews ever read . Why is the standard of service still so abissmal.

Avoid this pub and the brewery that owns it. They ripped me off, HMRC have been informed about the way they operate and pay staff cash to avoid paying tax and national insurance. Tye kitchen is in a terrible state not fit to serve food. The police are watching the pub due to drink drivers constantly drinking in the pub and the. Driving home. This place was incredible, all the staff working this evening were so kind and could not do enough to make our experience plesent. Even more so the food was outstanding. Thanks guys can't wait to come back soon.

Had a great breakfast. We have been visiting for 10 years. The staff are great and the prices are reasonable. We will miss our visits to Sainsbury's Leek when the cafe closes. Most of all we will miss the friendly staff.

Really disappointing visit. Only went for coffee and cake but the cake was far from fresh and the coffees tepid. Very unlikely to return.

We went here Saturday lunchtime with family. Food was excellent! I messaged the restaurant in advance as one of our party is celiac (gluten free) and the restaurant was totally accommodating. Staff were attentive and we will be back. The espresso martini on draft was great!! It was relatively quiet being lunchtime but I would highly recommend you give this place a try!! (lamb masala, claypots we're fab). Thank you Bulls Head!

Amazing customer service very fast service

I order afternoon tea delivered to my elderly parent home as a treat. What arrived was a box of cakes - that's it for about £34 (can't remember the exact cost but that doesn't matter. No sandwiches, no pastries - just cakes! Granted, enough of them to make 2 people feel sick. Phoned and complained but got a 'that's what it is' response. Was told the owner would ring me but predictably she didn't. Anywhere that has as many negative ratings as good ones sends out a warning, pity I didn't see them before ordering.

ordered online a breakfest they canceled it 15min before it was to be deliverd disgusting i have carers my morning carer did not do me food because i orded this meal so now no food till 7 tonight unless i order from sumone eles

My family and I booked christmas dinner at the George, and whilst expensive, it didn't disappoint. The portion sizes were huge. The only criticism was that whilst we like our veg still looking and tasting like veg, the sprouts were seriously undercooked, so much so that we just couldn't eat them. It's like they were literally dropped in boiling water, then served. They were so hard, my daughter couldn't eat them. We asked for another portion that were softer, but sadly, these were just as hard. The special requirements were followed to the letter and the service was outstanding.
