Tesco Cafe in Stoke-on-Trent

Absolutely awful service, waited at the till for more than 5 minutes waiting for staff to stop talking and acknowledge me, when I finally got my strawberry matcha latte, it was disgusting, so lumpy and completely undrinkable had to leave it after one sip and having lumps of powder in my mouth, for the price this is awful and I will not be going back! Do not waste your money or time waiting for it!!

Can't explain how bad it was. At least 15mins to place my order. Waited half an hour for my order by time my order came I had drank my tea. Only ordered a toasted teacake and kids meal. It wasn't even what you would call busy loads of spare table. My grandson fell asleep waiting for his after saying wheres my dinner so slow.

Had no choice but to scan own shopping as staffed tills are shut, while 3 staff members decided to have a lovely chat about jumpers while next to me at self check out

Breakfast advertised at 5.25 on eye level board as u walk in . No description of breakfast . Had a coffee too . Came to nearly £12 so looked closer . Board high above till with description of breakfast. 1 sausage 1 bacon 1 egg beans 1 toast and hash brown . Was asked if I'd like mushrooms tomatoes and black pudding . Not many people like these but are usually part of a breakfast. Was never told these cost extra . Looked on website . No prices either . Asked store manager who told me the cafe is a separate entity . Nothing to do with tesco. What a surprise. Don't mind paying for quality. Every little counts eh ? Won't be shopping there agsin

Absolutely terrible food had it delivered and it was freezing cold with 4 items missing cost me 20 pounds for 1 bacon in each breakfast and 2 sausages and a bit of bread was given the wrong order

Scrumptious grub too tie me over on my long haul drive from Aberdeen to Brighton! Sausages succulent and the eggs were poached better than Madeline McCan was! All round great experience unlike the Oliver Twist Zagreb pub I went which was rubbish and the waiter was balding

My wife and visited hanley tesco and decided to have breakfast whilst we were there. When we finally got to be served the member of staff told us there was a 10-15 minute delay for breakfast as a member of staff hasn't turned in for work. In reality we waited 20 plus minutes for 1 black coffee and 1 cup of tea. The food that we ordered then came out 45 minutes after we ordered and trust me it was not worth waiting for the toast was cold the beans were just warm the hash browns tasted like they had been deep fried in old oil they were disgusting. The member of staff who brought the food over to us her customer service skills were zero as she slated the tray on our table and said there. She made us feel like we were an inconvenience and in the way. If this is how tesco hanley cafe treats there customers with substandard food and service then they don't deserve customers. I wouldn't have but the cafe wasn't even half full there was hardly anyone in there. We will not be revisiting for food ever again and tesco hanley cafe there's plenty of places around this establishment to get good food and great service

As always the Tesco breakfast does not disappoint! Delicious and quick, good for vegans and vegetarians.

Lovely staff, good quality well prepared food, seasonal changes in menu, prices are very reasonable. Can't fault it!

Breakfast at Tesco cafe was lovely, large portions, good price and great service. Good veggie and vegan options too and the choice of extras like black pudding and fried bread. Something for everyone

Lovely meal given and covid precautions taken

Had a few cooked breakfasts in my time from various establishments including Tesco cafes however, on my visit to this one today I have to say it was one of the worst I have ever had and certainly the worst Tesco breakfast. £4.20 breakfast without toast or fried bread and pot of tea ordered. No substitute for the toast / fried bread was offered, but I was told on paying that it would be a 15 minute wait, okay I’ve paid so I’ll wait. It came in under 15 minutes, but wish it had been a full 15 minuets so it could have been hot and the egg with a cooked middle and white around the cold yolk. Tables were dirty and not clean, my fork handle had what looked like a baked food. Based on this experience I will not be visiting this cafe again for sure and will look first before visiting other similar establishments.

Clean and bright. Great Coffee. Helpful Staff. Breakfasts look appetising.

tesco café is a great place and really clean and the staff are always very pleasant. the food is always hot and cooked to perfection (yummy) lovely the food is great value for money and there's always plenty on your plate and most of all the staff bring you the food they also offer you other things such as extra toast or something like another tea or coffee which is nice the staff are always welcoming to you and so polite
