The best restaurants serving British food in Weymouth and Portland South West

Went for the last night of the season for Halloween. Food buffet was awesome. There was a Halloween party, but didn’t stay for that which was a shame. Place is really good.

Unfortunately since new owners the quality of food has dropped.2 big breakfasts and the quality of the sausages and hash browns not as good, also the quality of the ham on eggs Benedict not as nice. Sadly our four legged also suffered as doggie treats, once free, no longer available. Still the best location to eat your breakfast but as one of the dearest places in Weymouth you should still get value for money

stopped for just a sandwich. enquired about their specials. Lady said i can do you a ploughman's . And what special it was. it had everything . cheese. ham. pork pie .bread butter. pickles + onions .egg. apple. little salad .coleslaw. Plus a big pot of tea.. please see photo. . and thank you for the great polite services.

Probably my favourite chippy in Weymouth. Xmas they did battered Brussel sprouts and pigs in blankets.. Great food and great creativity.

Just had Sunday Roast beef lunch. Bar Staff were very welcoming and the waitress service very good. Really good value for money and a tasty meal. They gladly accommodated my request to substitute extra veg instead of roasties. Dog friendly and it had a really relaxed atmosphere with plenty of locals. Just the job!

We phoned up on Saturday to ask if they served vegan or vegetarian Sunday lunch & we were told that the chef was vegan so something could be sorted for us, so we booked a table. Arriving on the Sunday we were told that there wasn't anything that we could have. Very disappointing service & wasted our holiday time.

Super quick service, friendly staff and very reasonable costs. So nice find... after eating expensive dross at holiday park! I would definitely recommend it

Nice warm cosy pub. The staff were really friendly. We stopped in for some lunch to get out of the miserable weather. The food was reasonably priced and tastey. They had a couple of local ale's on tap which was nice 😋

Delicious food delightfully presented and friendly waitress. Battered cod and chips really tasty. Thanks for a great evening
