The best restaurants serving British food in Tormohun Torbay South West

New cook so great food and great service. Extremely polite and everything cooked to perfection. Definitely will be eating there again. Just noticed new items to ve added to menu so will try something new too.

supplying local crackheads since I've lived here which is my whole life, if you want a rough place this the place to go ! Everytown needs a bar like this to keep the good ones clean so+3 stars for that, so it is what it is

Cheapest in the area for a reason. Plaice was watery and tasteless, batter was thin and oily. Tasted like over used oil, perhaps because it was the end of the day. Chips were nice. Took visitors who were very disappointed as they were expecting Brixham fresh fish. Sorry owner but this was our experience.

Absolutely disgraceful attitude from the lady who's either the owner or management. Rolling of eyes, tutting just because I changed my mind from a battered sausage to plain one, and because I was deciding she was really awful and I only stayed because I was with my family but I will never go back again nor recommend, she was also awful to another family after us who did walk away and she had the nerve to say Thank god I didn't like the look of them????? There's always a first and last time and never again

We have called in a few times, & the tables need to be cleared ! Staff to busy talking..

We were here three years ago, and it was amazing! The food in the galley was still great, but the dessert was a bit disappointing. The item was either unavailable or had unexpected changes, which made it confusing. I also feel that the plating has become a bit basic and doesn’t seem as well thought out compared to our previous visit. It would be great if this could be improved for a better experience.

Torquay beefeater is certainly is one of the better beefeater's in the area a d tonight was no exception.. we hadn't book as was a last minute decision..although they were short staffed we were greeted by a happy friendly man in a grey shirt didn't get his name sorry!!! Our waitress Sharon was excellent and definitely needed to be mentioned Thank you for your lovely service

Random stop at this cafe - amazing Cornish pasty’s (And we’ve tried a few in the last 2 weeks lol) - decided to go full on and followed up with their cream tea, it didn’t disappoint with a huge portion of jam and cream. Highly Recommended.

The food was much better than we expected and we will definitely visit when we return to England in the fall. Robert Chapman

Freindly staff and a great social space

They didn't want to give us a table for 8 and the entire restaurant was almost empty, there was just 4 persons inside the restaurant and we were very hungry. We went to ask if they had space for us and without hesitation he said no .

2.5 stars as some staff are good but many need to really work on their customer service skills. The drinks are okay, food is good but overpriced. Would be good if there were some more vegan options too. It is bright and a good meeting spot particularly if you have children who can play in the little soft play area for free.
