Love At First Bite in Torbay

New cook so great food and great service. Extremely polite and everything cooked to perfection. Definitely will be eating there again. Just noticed new items to ve added to menu so will try something new too.

Rarely leave reviews but felt as if it was necessary in this case, purely for safety of others. Ordered 2 baps, only got one but had waited over 20 minutes so simply couldn’t be asked to wait for another. Glad I didn’t as the one bap we did receive contained bacon which wasn’t cooked for longer than perhaps 20-30 seconds.

We went here after a visit to b&q . It seemed to take a long time to be served. When I got home I took a bite of my cheeseburger. When i looked the burger seemed rare with raw meat. So I cut it open to look. You can see from my pictures the burger was totally raw. Strange cos I saw the guy use a food thermometer. Mate your not using that thermometer correctly. Maybe your having a bad day after being up all night as you were telling people.

I'm a tradesperson and I frequent these type of places often. Today I had a breakfast bap from here and it's officially the best breakfast bap I've ever had! I had a look at the burgers being cooked while I was waiting and legit looked like fresh, handmade burgers. Shame I'm not local. Will be visiting again next time I'm in Torquay, even if I have to go out of my way, lol.

We have visited most of the mobile food outlets around torbay and teignbridge, and this is by far the best! Their 'specials' are indeed special (their chilli and chips is just heavenly, though portions are a bit on the large side - catering for big burly men, i suppose). Home cooked and, unusually, just about as good as i can cook at home (and thats saying something). I like that the menu isnt always the same... very much recommended.

Visited today after popping into B&Q. Buying for three of us; we had the Pizza Burger (4oz burger, two good slices of fresh mozzerella, sundried tomatoes and pesto), The Blue burger (with stilton and mushrooms), a classic cheeseburger, and a portion of their slant on 'patatas bravas using chips,but with a tomato sauce topping cheese and chillies. Everything was absolutely gorgeous; great burgers, fresh toppings and good sized portions Sorry about the empty plate, it didn't hang around long enough to get photographed.

Always very happy with my sandwich very friendly staff. There is a large choice on the menus so if a sandwich isn’t your thing maybe have chips or try their vegan range.

had to try the butchers burger very disappointed not there fault a burger from a butcher tends to be very rubbery the mince they use is to lean the process of making a hand made burger consists of adding seasoning to mince then mincing again then over compressing in to a burger shape this tends to cause to make it tough large scale manufactures use a different process that give a more open texture

Cracking burgers (got one in my lap as I type - too cold so sat in the car). Lovely lady who cooks it all to order. What is not to love.

A wonderful Hallumi, mushroom, onion, pepper and salad burger. Cooked to order on a spotless grill by a young lady who takes pride and care in her food. Love this little van. Highly recommended.

Stop here most days for breakfast great catering van not your normal burger van freshly cooked food proper fresh butcher burger mix it with blue cheese bacon and onions you can’t beat it or simply have my favourite breakfast bap

This lovely little catering van is a must stop if you are out and about in Torquay. The Haloumi bap is simply outstanding! Can't recommend it highly enough.

Stopped here for a quick bit to eat. I had a 4oz burger with cheese and onions - REALLY tasty. The place is in the B & Q car park so easy to park. Good value too, will definitely be back!
