I ordered beef madras curry,which tasted fine.but the curry sauce ,contained very little meat. A very dissapointing experience .may not buy similer in future!. Venue, 8/8/24. PM.

This is a Wetherspoons pub. Good choice of drinks and a varied food 😋 menu.. at very reasonable prices. Staff very helpful,( if you don't use the APP ) and they deliver your meal to the table... FABULOUS 👌.

Ordered steak..fatty tuff peas chips cold ..no filled bottles off sauces..tables was full of plates glasses etc...very disappointed

Even though it's high season, service was good and it was easy to find a table and order with their app. Steak was ask requested. Only complaint I have is that the steak was almost cold when I got it

Great spot for lovely English breakfast, fast service, and hot food.

My wife has MS and uses a mobility scooter. It was very difficult to get in and out of the premises as the lifts were not large enough. There needs to be ramps put in to enable access to all levels and also one Disabled toilet is not enough for a Wetherspoons of this size. There was a queue and sometimes long wait for the disabled toilet

Being a manager since 2012 I cannot believe the audacity of the manager on today 10 minutes ago I asked for two breakfasts Asked I quote not to sound facetious could they be hot as previously on every occasion they have been cold Told by the “ Manager “ If you don’t like it, why do you keep coming back? If I had customers with problems in the past, I have rectify them for them. They have been repeat customers. I would lose so much money if I said that to a customer simply stating their breakfast in the past have been cold to why would u come here then Completely unbelievable 1 description to me has said that the person is backwards why would you deal with customers like that? As I’ve simply stated from a professional point, I would never have any customers if I speak to customers like that Customer feedback is very important when building up clientel list and repeat custom This will be reported to head office today. I expect this person to go into training for a professional managerial position customer satisfaction not personal opinion of attitude of which there was none and witnessed by customers. A simple statement of feedback was taken as a personal insult by somebody when they should’ve been professional No wonder 3.9 is the Google review. I’ve built up previous businesses from Google reviews and done very well.

Comfortable environment and very reasonable prices. Buy a coffee and refills are free.

We decided not to eat here 4 August as the tables were filthy. Not a nice environment.

Advised that we couldn't have a table due to staff shortages. The place was empty on a Sunday teatime. Maybe offer a limited menu just to keep the revenue flowing.

The app to order is very hit n miss I know they have updated the app so this might be a blip in it.!!! It's a very busy pub so although food was slow being served the staff were great.

Only had a couple of drinks in this place but I can say that they are expensive. The place is clean and tidy but not over busy for a lunchtime .

Filled with drug fuelled idiots doorman searched us going in and explained he had already found drugs and knives that day and it was only 3pm !!!! After being searched we walked in saw the state of the people in there and walked straight back out !!!

Picked the wrong night to go out because place full of drunk loud people falling all over the place. Most definitely won't be attending this place again because of poor management.

Popped for a coffee and a snack , near the harbour , easy to find and as we say Spoon's is Spoon's. Love it

This is our 97th Whetherspoons Visit on our list and the first one we've been disappointed with. The breakfast was cold and coffee machines are barely working (Half a cup when pressing latte). Every other Whetherspoons has allowed us to swap the mushroom out on the large breakfast for a hash brown (96p Vs 46p) but we were told we were not allowed. 96 other Whetherspoons including 9 in London (Both Victoria Station, Shakespeare Head, Cross Keys, Liberty Bonds, Moon Under Water, Barrel Vault, Sir John Oldcastle and Central Bar) all allowed us to swap items and all food was hot. Extremely disappointing visit today and definitely not the experience we have been used too. Only 1 out of 5 coffee machines currently working with a queue. Manager was understanding, offered to replace the breakfasts but we had already eaten most of it and didn't want to start again. Out of the items only the sausages and hash browns were like warm. One of the servers said there was food piled up and needed more staff to help serve. Certainly not the typical experience and the first one that warranted a review in 97 unique visits.

Whether spoons are usually old but the day we? My sister and I went in there it was crowded . We struggled to find a seat and we both wanted the toilets. Fortunately it does have a "disable toilet" on ground level which I needed. We only wanted soft drinks it was a hot day.

I have posted a photo of this cafe, and the name of the cafe/restaurant is Vaughn's and not the Green Ginger. It is a very pleasant cafe/restaurant close to the harbour with lots of outstanding seating. The food and drink on offer is delicious. We had fresh crab sandwiches. The staff are pleasant and helpful and I would recommend.

You know what you're getting from a wetherspoons. It was really busy, but ordered on the App. Food was at the table really quickly. We had to go hunting for our drinks though.

I had three interactions today with different staff members and all of them were very friendly and smiley. Probably the friendliest spoons I've ever been to.

We popped in for quick dinner after a long drive from Oxford to Torbay and it hit the spot ..as it usually doe's the fish was a little smaller than usual..but still good.😋😃.

This place is popular and gets very busy, but I was impressed how quickly the food came even at peak hours on a Sunday. As ever, the Wetherspoons standard menu offers good food and great value, what's not to like.

Took 50 minutes to receive our drinks. Chips were overdone and had been sat under a heat lamp for half a day.

I went a couple of times and sometimes the service was great and other times staff would tell you to queue at the bar when there were spaces. This is a pub not a Disney ride.

As usual lovely fish and chips, with a drink included in the price. Bargain.

Not great I had a chicken melt. The chicken was overcooked and hard and cold. i had to spit most of it out as so hard I wasn't even able to chew it up. It came with a slice of cold cheese on top which was supposed to be the melted bit. My son had a bowl of chips that cost £4.50 with only 17 chips in the bowl. The table was covered in the last customers empty glasses and nobody came to clear them so I had to do it myself. Not a great experience and i can't believe i actually paid money for this.

It was ok. Reasonably priced, low in staff who did as best they could. Tables full of plates and glasses. Upstairs was full, bar was closed. It's June, it's busy mmmm. Staff cost ratio to customer care very poor. A management thing. People don't complain because it's cheap. 3 stars are kind! Still rubbish one year later!
