What a welcome surprise. It's good to see this place has had a lovely makeover. Food was a lot better, carvery & bar staff served with a smile. Made very welcome by Cam. Will return and recommend. Free easy parking a big bonus, easy access for wheelchair users too.

When my partner and I walked into the willow tree pub to get our normal place to sit down a member of staff was very abrupt and rude and said that you can't sit there i felt very uncomfortable and unhappy

Food excellent as always. Tania is always a great waitress and has the customer needs first. Give that lady a pay rise.

Visited today my friend for lunch, Pizza was delicious could not eat it all I asked for a pizza box which was kindly put together. Service was brilliant thank you Shirley you are a credit to the Willow Tree.

It's nothing special. Prices were hiked recently following a remodel. 15% price increase for the same food and service from the same staff. It's nothing special.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at willow tree, and it exceeded all expectations. From the warm welcome at the door to the last bite of dessert, everything was outstanding. The service is impeccable — attentive without being intrusive. Great Breakfast at a great price!

We came today for lunch with our disabled club. We ordered our food and was asked to help ourselves which would have been okay if everyone was mobile but this wasn't the case. When asked for assistance was told they can't help. The food was served cold and when mentioned was just ignored and when we complained the guy behind the bar started arguing with us. And then tried to deny everything when questioned after. No apology given for the bad experience. Wouldn't ever recommend. Anyone in groups of disabled people stay well clear.

Great to visit for the first time since the refurb. Food was amazing - not normally one for desserts but the bubble waffle was amazing! A big shoutout to our waitress, Tania, who looked after us from the moment we arrived to leaving. Thank you 🙏

We haven't been here for a while. Nice surprise to see the pub has had a recent refurbishment. It looks and feels much better than before. Bar and waiting staff are happy and friendly. We both had the Carvery, chose turkey, which was nice. There was a good range of vegetables on offer. Our only complaint was that the roast potatoes looked overcooked and dried out, i spoke to staff who removed them from the display. Had to wait 10 minutes for fresh ones to be brought out, but all was ok in the end

Had breakfast here Good Friday, staff were friendly and welcoming. We had an all you can eat breakfast each which was very tasty. They had a busy morning so food was being replenished often which was nice to have fresh 🙂

Shirley was very helpful and gave us advice, on the timings for meals so we could eat together, pleasant persona.

Lovely roast meal, generous amount of meat and lovely fresh vegetables. Shirley was very helpful and cheerful, she cleared tables well bur didn't hurry us.

Tony gave amazing service today . We had the buffet breakfast and the waffles with strawberry’s and cream .

Don’t order Pizza Had a Margarita so little sauce it had dried up whilst cooking cheese the same had a pizza from Lidl much better

Lovely food, lovely service lovely Sunday lunch yesterday will definitely go back again. Pity some of the people that come in now didn’t have the respect to the staff they should have but I suppose that’s life with people have no respect for staff.

Wow what a transformation after the new refurb! Fantastic food and amazingly friendly staff. Great prices and wide selection menu. The bubble waffles are seriously impressive my daughters eyes lit up.

Food tasted the same but charged us more because they had a change to the place. Wouldn’t come here again, gravy had hard bits in it , meat was solid, and what a waste of money.

Meat was solid gravy was lumpy and hard bits in it the price was shocking the food had no flavour and tasted all the same. Never coming again would not recommend it asked for Fanta and gave us Tango pudding took forever to come my brownie was FROZEN bits in it never coming back it’s the same old crap willow tree just more expensive never ever ever coming back

I booked a table for 4 at 12.30 on 11/4/2025. We ordered our meals separately within about 1 minute between us. One meal was served, about 8minutes later a second meal was served then about 15 minutes later the final 2 meals were served, by this time the first person that was served had finished their meal. We had to go to the bar and ask the staff where the final 2 meals were. I was rather upset as this was a birthday celebration meal which we were all looking forward to. Hopefully the service will improve for our next visit, we have been coming to The Willow Tree for several years and have not experienced this service in the past.

Went for breakfast. Good selection from self service cooked buffet with unlimited toast, tea and coffee too. Venue recently refurbished to a good standard and remains a welcoming and attractive site with tables cleared and cleaned promptly.

We have loved this spot for a carvery for years to celebrate birthdays and special occasions. Liam was super patient with all of our voucher codes and was very friendly. Great customer service and great food. Thanks Liam!

Good for a dinner out at the end of holiday, chips were cold unfortunately, and the peas were overdone. But service was good, nice restaurant with plenty of disabled parking with ramp entrance, great offers with the website or app too

Great revamp, looks really modern and fresh inside. 3 course set menu was very good value, we tried all the starters which were very nice! Carvery was good, we didn't realise it stopped at a certain time so had limited options. All the deserts were lovely, as was our server Tania. We'll be back!

Booked a table for 9. Was served by Tania, who was more than helpful, and we know it wasn't a one off as the last time we went to Stonehouse we were served by her and she was equally as helpful. Food was as good as always, in our party we had 6 adults, 1 teen and 2 children under 10, so we had a mixture of meals ordered all were good 👍 Will definitely be returning.

lovely place lovely food but really long wait after ordering (about 45-50 mins) wouldn't have minded as much if we'd been warned it would be a long wait. I know running a service is hard though and the food was lovely :)

Our server was called Rachel and she was the kindest helpful woman ,constantly checking on us and making sure we were happy with our food and making sure we didn’t need anything and if we did need anything she was straight on it ,made us feel so welcomed , what a lovely experience.

Always a lovely experience at the willow tree. The refurbishment is really lovely and looks very happy, however, we have found it is now harder for wheelchair access, we usually come as a group and sit at the back with sometimes at least two wheelchair users and we found it difficult to get to the back due to a table being in the middle of the walk way. The customers were lovely and moved for us to get through but this shouldn’t be necessary. This needs to be improved really to make it accessible for everyone like it was before. Spoke with Tania and she was very helpful with this and have advised to us to leave some feedback on here:)

Had an amazing time at willow tree ! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious,perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Great selection of drinks as well, with a cozy vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and a relaxed night out. Will definitely be back!

Visited since the refurbishment, food was brilliant and glad to see new options on the menu, staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall a fantastic experience, will be going again for the Alforno dishes.
