El viernes comenzamos a comer sándwiches crujientes de tocino y aguacate en la oficina y es un excelente comienzo para el día. Gran servicio increíble tocino.

We went in for breakfast/brunch. The staff were friendly. It was very busy. We sat on the top floor. 4 level. Drinks were served promptly. The food took about 30 minutes for 3 of us, the other had to wait a further 10 minutes for his breakfast. He was offered an extra drink while waiting. The food was great. Tasty and good portion size. I had to ask 2 staff for a take away box before I got it. The first person was asked and said he would but did not deliver.

This is a gem of a find. We were staying in our caravan and had Sunday lunch here. The owners have created a quirky ambience. The food itself was outstanding, large meat portions, huge Yorkshire puds and amazing roast potatoes. All home cooked. Vegetables were perfectly cooked and a good selection. We could not manage a pud but the ones we saw looked amazing. Meal with 2 drinks each (2 wines and 2 soft drinks) £50.

I have been here many times but today was shocking. My friend arrived prior to myself and asked if there was somewhere we could sit with two prams. She was told to just go and have a look. A younger staff member showed her to a table at the back. When I arrived, it was like having a pram was a total inconvenience. The staff member who appeared to be in charge was rude and huffy. We were given a menu and told to order at the till. This was not a problem. What was a problem, and made us feel super uncomfortable, was her audibly voicing her dissatisfaction at her younger colleagues not helping her with the stock which has just arrived. The whole downstairs went silent. It appeared we were all uncomfortable with this behaviour. Not the environment we wanted for a friendly catch up. We left without ordering and went to a competitor. I'm so sorry. I have been many times but today I was a total disappointment!

Nice traditional surroundings, plenty of staff but tiny portions, more what you would expect as part of a taster menu. sorry but you have to feed people. The food, what we had was fancy/OK but of you are going to have a tiny steak you can't have sinew running right through it.

Beautiful setting and great food. This is a wonderful centuries old pub that caters for all. Two legs or four. The gardens ensure solo visitors, couples and families are catered for with the bar /restaurant following suit this should be a destination for all. The food is beyond amazing , I didn’t want it to end! I am a random visitor not a local but I wish I lived nearer. The staff are so knowledgeable, kind and welcoming, a sure change from more commercial places. I enjoyed every moment thank you x

First time coming to this lovely inn, the atmosphere inside is lovely, with some really quaint seating areas. Plenty of things for the kids to do, and activities for them to do for easter. The food did not disappoint, everything was thoughourly enjoyed and very filling. Emma was our main server and she really is an asset, lovely, welcoming and always smiling, this being said quite a few different members of staff seen us in the resturant and all served with a smile. We look forward to coming back.

Stayed in the cottage owned by the landlords, what a place. So we had evening meal as a family, the landlady was so kind, welcoming and brilliant with the kids. The meals were delicious, quick service and overall warm welcoming pub and guest cottage. Definitely worth a visit.
