Worst pint of Guinness! Wasn't drinkable at all, kept saying there wasn't anything wrong with it after asking for a replacement, tasted disgusting, was a group of 6 of us was told they would only seat us if all 6 of us was eating only 4 of us wanted food so would not sit us down , ended up at hobnails would recommend them highly over this terrible run establishment. Shame I can't give 0 stars

Myself and my now wife had our wedding at Lower Lode Inn. We held the ceremony in front of the water, along with a marquee. Sam, the landlady, was so helpful and helped make it the perfect day alongside her amazing team of bar and floor staff. The day could not have gone any better. Thank you so much to everyone at the Lower Lode Inn.

Always good honest affordable food and drinks

Highly recommend the Royal Oak, great service and very dog friendly pub. The owner is incredibly friendly and on both occasions has given my dog a doggy ice cream and a sausage 😄

Visited in past week as not been here for some time; just drinks. Still looks like the back garden area needs some TLC/weeding etc; plants in pots with labels still on and furniture needs upgrading or re-staining. Menu seemed quite pricey for the place, would expect great setting too if paying prices. Might try again if tidied up etc.

Had a great weekend seeing friends in Bishops Cleeve and made plenty of new friends in this pub. Atmosphere was brilliant everything an old school pub should be everyone's friendly the staff are amazing wil be visiting again real soon recommend a visit to anyone who's passing by

The most terrible food, cold, tough beef, cold tough Yorkshire pudding, swimming in gravy and stale vegetables. Please do not waste your money

Popped in last Friday on my way to weston scooter rally for a cruzcampo. Called in again yesterday on my way home to Wolverhampton. Got talking to some great characters, cruzcampo was going down too well. Booked a room at the regency. Thank you to all the guys and girls for a lovely atmosphere. And to the landlady for letting me leave my scooter in the forecourt. 👍👍👍👍👍🧡🖤🧡🖤🧡

We went for dinner at the cheese rollers it was Delicious food and lovely atmosphere. I recommend the chicken burger. Fair price definitely worth it.

Not surprised this place shut down, it's been going down hill for months, waiting ages for food, short staff, can't order after 7, poor management , rubbish, shame as kids used to like it.

Coming over the river bridge turning right into a good sized car park… sipping on a coffee and a slice of delicious cake overlooking the river…. Nice!

The restaurant is a beautiful, panelled room designed for small groups and couples. The staff were always attentive and very knowledgeable. The wine and drinks choice to accompany was wide and varied, including non-alcoholic.

Es una lástima que este pub tenga un mal servicio al cliente. La señora detrás de la barra no podía hacer frente y decidió sacar sus frustraciones en pagar a los clientes. La otra señora del bar era sin embargo, educada y eficiente, que es lo que un buen pub necesita. La cerveza era buena y bien cuidada.

We went to the old elm last year and had a superb Sunday lunch. This time the food was great but could have been hotter - we didn’t moan at the the time C as we were hungry but will next time. We will go again but definitely ask for the dinner to come piping hot. Great beer btw.
