The breakfast was horrible, the ingredients were of low budget quality, the sausage had a herby awful flavour, cheap bread, not fried properly, the tea was tasteless, never eat there again, its a pity , the Staff are friendly, the parking outside is handy and free , nice location . , they need to upgrade the ingredients. and charge more money if necessary, if you lack taste buds, then you wont know any difference, pity i had to review my findings on this handy ideal location,

A truly gorgeous little spot for a couple of days exploring Totnes and the surrounding countryside. The staff were very welcoming and friendly from the moment I arrived and throughout my time there; I never felt overlooked or focussed on as a solo female traveller but always very well-cared for. I stayed in room 1 which has a tiny little terrace that it was nice to be able to open the door onto and have some fresh air inside. The room itself was lovely, very well presented and felt clean and cosy; there isn't a huge amount of space but absolutely enough for one person or two people for a night or two. Lovely lime washed walls, DIY compostable teabags and a great shower made for a very comfortable stay - worth noting they don't have all the same amenities you might find elsewhere (no TV or shower gel) but wi-fi is good if you want to bring a laptop to watch. Food was excellent with a great range of local and seasonal small - large plates and everything was beautifully prepared and perfectly cooked - the cauliflower and squash for dinner were especially good while the fried egg + greens on toast was a perfect breakfast to fuel a day of walking. I can also recommend the no-waste espresso martini as a sundowner with a good book in the fresh air! It's not cheap but the whole vibe is one of getting what you pay for which is understated elegance, a commitment to sustainability and a real desire to create something very special in the local community...I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to send others there.

Iāve attended totnes doing some work cover, Iām not familiar with totnes, Iāve come to the waterside for a couple of after work drinks and Iāve never been made to feel as welcome as I have tonight, a girl called Sophia made my night along with her manager, lovely people I wish I could steal them for my work place, credits to them both, real credit to your business.

Met up with friends on Saturday lunchtime, busy, very helpful Kate found us a dog friendly table even though we hadnāt booked. We had baguettes/wraps etc, all delicious, freshly prepared & very tasty. Big shout out to Henry who was unfailingly polite & professional, a real credit to the Seven Stars. Loved the ambience, would definitely recommend & return, many thanks.

We popped in for lunch whilst visiting Totnes on holiday. Six of us and a dog. Welcomed immediately by the landlord, we enjoyed x6 burgers and chips, more than weād planned to eat. Generous portions and great friendly service! Definitely recommend.

Friendly little pub with some additional out door seating. Had a decent ale here from the bar. The landlord was accommodating and the pub interior was great

Delicious Devonshire cream team, scone slightly warm. So good. Rest of family had speciality tea, thick strawberry milkshake made with Cornish ice cream and a couple of decaf coffees. Setting was lovely. Very oldy worldy and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend

Nice vegan pizza with aubergine and pesto. I hope there were more vegan options. Servers were smiley and kind. However the cleanliness could be improved. There was some liquid on one corner of our table when we arrived. Our plates werenāt super clean (we found a rice on one ācleanā plate).
