The best restaurants serving British food in Combe Martin North Devon South West

We were staying for one night and enjoyed it so much we extended another night .exceptional rooms ,food and company,would highly recommend

Great service, excellent coffee, great cakes. We were staying in coombe Martin for 3 days, and visited the cafe on each of the 3 days we were there. Lovely

Came here 2 years ago and had to eat here again...such a great atmosphere ,the staff are so nice and the large breakfast was amazing Can't wait to come back

Having eaten twice over the last couple of months, and been delighted with our meals. Tonight was a great disappointment has the chef changed? The standard was not the same.

Has a good range of gifts to offer. I wish the name would change as no tea room for now 2 years. It is a shame but I am sure it will be back sometime in the future.

Beware parking fines! Just got a £100 fine for parking up for cream tea. The parking is nothing to do with the cafe but a lovely cream tea just become an incredibly expensive experience - more signs needed on the cafe to remind customers to pay and display - inadequate signs outside Storm in a Teacup

Closed down! Not one cafe open in Combe Martin! Came to Combe Martin to walk some of the coastal path. Hoped to get some lunch at a cafe.

Food very lovely, staff very friendly, no problem with booking. good choice of wine and beers. Place is clean.

My sister and brother in law wanted to treat me to a special meal. They booked the Taster Menu for the 3 of us. The waitress was very attentive and gave wonderful service. However we were not offered the wines to go with the taster menu which seemed odd if you are having a taster meal. When the ‘amuse bouché’ arrived there was only 2 portions and we were told it was a sharing plate, really? No mention of that on the menu. The meal was very slow coming out and when it did it was extremely salty. To say I was embarrassed for my sister who wanted to treat me, is an understatement so much so that I actually paid the bill. I’m afraid I am probably spoilt by eating in France most of the time, but my impression of this restaurant is that it’s over pretentious and sadly not brilliant. Although a fabulous location with great views, I do not wish to return.

Was moved into a better room with a fantastic sea view. The hotel has a brilliant venue room, only problem it is down a very steep hill.

Stayed in The Lodge for 4 days.Excellent accommodation. Food in the restaurant superb.The only thing that let it down for us and we won't be going again,is that so many dogs were allowed in the lovely restaurant. Some well behaved, but others noisy and a nuisance. This Hotel is beautiful and in a lovely spot for walks and views, but if you don't want to share your meals with dogs, it is not for you.

Whilst staying here on holiday at Hidden Valley we decided to book for Sunday lunch. Had a lovely plate full of roast beef and pork, roast potatoes, roast parsnips and carrots, green beans, cauliflower cheese, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and plenty of nice rich gravy. It was lovely and hot, plus great friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Nice little village pub, great food, and portion sizes. Clean decor, good seating areas in the restaurant.

One of the best Sirloin steaks I've ever had, a lovely meal 😋
