Great service, excellent coffee, great cakes. We were staying in coombe Martin for 3 days, and visited the cafe on each of the 3 days we were there. Lovely

Note that opening hours on Tripadvisor are not accurate. They close Tuesday and Wednesday. Great food- cakes amazing. Pleasant service. What more do we need?

My partner and I were away for the weekend in Combe Martin and came along bobbies bakes on our walk to the beach from our caravan site. Lovely service and great selection of sweet treats and other baked goods. We went two days in a row as we enjoyed it so much, would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Love this little place and always visit when staying at Newberry Valley campsite. Ordered coffee and hot chocolate to take away up to seating round the corner so we could look out over the sea. The rich gluten free chocolate cake is thoroughly deserving of its award. So many tasty sauces etc in bottles for sale too. Always gets visited promptly whenever I’m in Combe Martin

The coffee wasn't that great but we bought it to walk along with and couldn't be bothered to walk back. That said, the cakes in the shop looked really good.

Stayed in Coombe Martin and had some food and drinks from here and enjoyed our experience. It’s situated just up the hill from the beach with nice views though not a lot of seating but you can do take away which is good. The food is of good quality with a small menu but with plenty of cakes and choices of drinks. If you are staying in Coombe Martin or just visiting give it a go.

A lovely spot to sit and look out over bay. Friendly service. Freshly baked bread too. Tiny car park above or larger one in CM with gentle, short climb up to café.

I can see why this place has so many 5star reviews amazing food and friends staff the loaded chips are huge and butures sausages that my 3yr old loved and of course bubble tea 100% would recommend we went hear 3 times on our 7day holiday very happy would come back down on holiday just for bobbies bakes

Lovely cakes and drinks overlooking the beach. I love the fact that they have repurposed the public conveniences. Very obliging chap serving, said he'd been there since 6.30am stocking the shelves and displays. Chatted to a few regular customers outside. We will definitely be back.

Sorry guys you may have had a off day. The cakes and pastries looked fab and I think they would have been. We had a coffee and a hot chocolate. The coffee was sort of okay, but slightly smelt perfumed, in that it had a sweet smell and taste to it. I am informed by my wife, the hot chocolate was just like lightly flavoured hot water. Also with a strange taste to it. But nothing like a hot chocolate that she has tasted before. I rarely do negative reviews, as most people are trying their hardest. As are Bobbies Bakes. But something was amiss today.

Great cakes and good selection . Favourite was a flattened Eccles cake with cinnamon sugar. Sounds strange but really good.Went back again - yum !

Popped in for a coffee, ended up buying 2 loaves of bread and a Lardy Cake. Very good coffee, with a delightful view, and the bread is delicious.... BUT the Lardy Cake, well my husband is a connoisseur of these cakes and he has declared this the BEST LARDY CAKE EVER. We will now be driving to Combe Martin once a month to buy a cake!

Good coffee & cake selection, a bit on the pricey side, but hey, we're on the coast. My only gripe, I do wish staff would learn to say please & thank you when serving, as I do when being served, it doesn't take much and you could get a better review, I find it extremely arrogant & rude.

Excellent coffee and amazingly tasty pastries. Superb value too! Friendly and professional service, knows all about the stuff they sell and is very passionate about it in a low-key, no fuss way :) Thoroughly recommend.

I went in for a pasty for me and a treat for my kids. Feeling overwhelmed with the choice I opted for the flap jacks for the kids. They were out of this world. A simple flap jack was by far the best baked treat I have had in a long long time. If the flap Jack's are this good then the other sweet treats must be better than they look. The steak pasty was gurt lush as well.

Great cakes and bread in a lovely location. Dropped a star because they are on the expensive side. A treat rather than regular visit.

What a find! The most amazing cakes, such a selection it’s hard to choose. Delicious bread too. Good selection of other take-away snacks & lunches. Only downside, coffee is not the best which is a shame otherwise it would be a 5 star review.

So good to have this in the village, walked in and was floored by the selection and the quality on offer. Had a bacon roll, best I've EVER had, it was the size of a 12" vinyl. 4 rashers of bacon, only just managed to finish it. Great selection of bread , cakes, savouries and so much more. Oh well there goes my diet.

We come to CM every year...last year first time we'd been to Bobbie's...went straight up there before we unpacked this year! Chocolate crispy cakes - so simple to make? - not like these ones! Lardy cake - elderly relative was thrilled! ' I remember the last time I had lardy cake this good many years ago....' and great service - many thanks

The best bakery I have ever visited, you really will not be disappointed. Friendly good old fashioned service and above all food as it should be . FAB - U - LOUS

Excellent cakes and bakes with a few more essentials, Really enjoyed the spelt flour loaf and selection of cakes, really delicious and a must visit. Also for English breakfast and Sunday roast available. A must for anyone self catering in Kmart in or passing through the village from Ilfracombe.

So wow! Hidden away but I tell you now go and find it! Amazing cakes and pastries all homemade. They even supply the local pub with their desserts. Friday night takeaway is a must. Sunday lunch available although we didn’t partake I’m sure it’s as yummy as the rest of their food. Homemade scotch eggs, the breadcrumbs are left over bread they didn’t sell, they also use these bread crumbs for the stuffing on their Sunday lunches. Well worth a visit and not too expensive either

So, we're lucky to live close by, we get to eat here & have take aways quite a bit. The food is always amazing. The breakfasts are really good & nicely filling. The take aways are brilliant & so handy to have local delivery. All the baked goods are delicious, the amount of work that goes into some of the patisserie styles are a real treat & the lardy is to die for! Great little section of deli bits too in the fridge. Always very friendly service & everything is a good price.

The food is amazing, and they are all so friendly and lovely! Friday night take-aways are a regular treat for us, and they are happy to accommodate my onion intolerance adapting the pizza base sauce for me so I don't get ill. The pastries are incredibly beautiful, delicious and very reasonably priced. They will also make special occasion cakes. The shop has loads of other artisan goodies, always worth a browse, they even have dog treats. Bobbies is amazing for high quality handmade delicasys and friendly service, such an asset to our community, can't recommend highly enough.

A bakery with great fresh bread and cakes, which can be delivered to your door. Exceptional cakes beautifully presented, and taste to die for. The one thing that stands out for me is the Lardy cake, a properly made cake oozing with sticky goodness just...

Bobbie's Bakes is a bit out of the way but the chef/baker is obviously an expert. Check out their photos and you'll find this place on Google Maps. We visited some time ago but there were few options for special diets and no decaff coffee....

We've always loved the cakes, scones and breads from Bobbie's Bakes yet as they have recently opened up a shop at their unit there is just so many more good things to eat. Partner says the steak pasty is the best in the village and...

It is remarkable what Bobbie and her partner are doing for not only Combe Martin but the whole area in North Devon. The bread is superb and the best hot crossed buns I've ever had..... well done guys in these difficult times...

Absolutely beautiful bread and rolls delivered fresh to our door! Bacon turn-overs are absolutely amazaballs and the sunday roast was a hit the whole family! These guys are doing a superb job in very difficult times!!
