Ordered a box of 6 frozen standard steak (if you can call it that!) pasties online direct from Rowe's. They were so awful I couldn't eat the first one and the rest have gone in the bin. There was none of the usual pieces of steak. Instead was a bit of gristly mince of some kind. Nothing like they used to be. They were one my favourite Cornish steak pasty, not any more. Wasted £22.00. They don't even have the courtesy to reply to my email regaring the changed recipe. Save your money, buy elsewhere.

Stayed here one night while walking SWCP with friends and dog. Decent rooms. Swimming pool, sauna and hot tub was nice bonus to relax in at the end of the day. Food decent. Breakfast self service, but decent. Service was fine. Overall pretty decent for what we needed. Dog friendly.

Great for an all day breakfast at an affordable £5.50 which includes a cup of very good coffee. Friendly staff :) Ansome.

Stayed and dined here, what a fabulous place, was lucky to have the local Hake which was the best I had had in a long time. So nice to find this family run place. The soup was so nice aswell, definitely recommend it. We will be back one day. Thanks to the whole team oh and also breakfast was equally as good!

Showed up here later than expected, they kept the kitchen open for us and made a fantastic meal. Stayed in the cottages on the outside that are new and very cozy. Staff were all very helpful and kind, if in this area would definitely stay here again.

Came across this cafe during a visit to Penzance. Open, airy and particularly loved the local photography on the walls. Young lads serving were charming, friendly and polite. Greeted well and shown to a table. Ordered a simple lunch of 4x panninis and 4x drinks . Didn't think to check prices which was a mistake as our total bill was over £60. Although the food was reasonable wish we'd checked the cost of soft drinks... £5 for a small bottle of coke or sprite is daylight robbery. Such a shame as really left us feeling quite sour about what was otherwise a pleasant lunch.

I can't review rooms as haven't stayed before. I would like to rave about Longboat Inns staff, particularly Karen who came to my rescue when I had a nasty fall outside the Inn on Leskinnick Street thanks to a giant pothole. Karen and 2 of her colleagues all helped me with my dog and with first aid box to bravely face the quite grim wound and then Karen drove me to the hospital to be glued back together. Wonderful staff and such rare beautiful people! Big thank you! The Longboat is also very conveniently placed near the train station for anyone wanting a place to stay near to transport and by the sea

Blinking marvellous! Obviously, this is a theme pub with a truly horrible exterior, but the inside is a fun and fascinating example of setting a scene. From the ancient monsterousa in the stairwell giving tropical vibes to the intricate ship artifacts (authentic and not so much authentic) it is a rich visual feast AND you can get a great pint, good food, and fast service. While it is obviously a tourist-appealing venue, it is also a great candidate for your local. A rare and beautiful thing. Give it a go.
