Such a stunning location, wonderful views over the sand dunes and crashing waves. Johnathan and Sue are so welcoming and warm and the food is great as is the coffee. I cannot recommend this place enough! Dog friendly too!

I have used Seasmiths, in Wadebridge for a couple of years. Normally the best fish and chips ever! Unfortunately, recently I have noticed that the batter on the fish has tasted very floury! Very disappointing.

Regular visitor to this lovely cafe. Sometimes latte, sometimes teacakes but this morning I had smashed avacado on kernow cob sour dough toast, two poached eggs, tomato relish. It was delicious. Linda makes lovely latte and is friendly, remembering the locals names. Lee the chef makes lovely food. The cafe has parking, free WiFi, and is dog friendly. Highly recommend

Called in on a Thursday evening. Was really pleased, nice lay out. Great selection of drinks. Menu was a traditional Pub Grub, all the favourites that we like. I went for Garlic mushrooms to start, nice. Gammon for main, very tasty, and a proper man size portion,very filling. Side Salad was fresh and crisp

Food is always perfect, the best fish and chips I’ve ever had and the portions are generous too.

Great venue and dog friendly. Came for a Sunday lunch, (had the beef) I was not disappointed. Simply the best Yorkshire pudding I've had in a very long time, beef was cooked to perfection and cauli cheese was definitely worth adding on. Shout out to the amazing chefs. The staff were lovely, friendly and very welcoming. We were served by Stevi, Ellie and Coco. Very good food, execllent venue and have seen that they have lots of music events coming up throughout the year. Will 100% be coming back again. Thank you team Unicorn on the beach.

Lovely large portions as usual! I always have the Fish fries with chips and salad, and I managed all 3 courses! However, the Service was not there , no one came to ask us how everything was. With myself working in Luxury Hospitality it is very important to check to see if customers would like to order anything else or ask for sauces/cutlery etc…. Because this can also give opportunities to increase service revenue for the business and make everyone feel special and welcomed . I will be returning before I go back to work as it will be the last meal I will have in that lovely building.

Sadly, in our opinion, the Basset Arms has gone downhill. The roast was not good, it took an age to get to us, the vegetables arrived a good 5 minutes after the main plates, the cauliflower/broccoli cheese was very crusty, the roast potatoes were like leather, the chicken portions were very small and the service was poor. It was very disappointing!

Pasty and mango donut was delish and warmed us up on cold day :)

Walked in and was greeted but then overheard owner being disrespectful to staff (and threatening to fire staff) when I was walking to the toilet. Worst holiday

Fantastic location. Worth going if you can sit outside, visited many times over the years. Food average. Was raining on my last visit so sat inside for some food with the dog, annoyingly other customers seemed to think it’s okay for their dogs to roam around inside not on leads.
