Delightful ambience and helpful staff, but more specifically the BEST mocha with oat milk I’ve ever had. Thick, creamy, delicious. Highly recommended.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We sat out in the garden area which was very nice and twee. We only had a tea and a coffee so cannot comment on the food but the service was quick and efficient. Would definitetly recommend it to others and would go back again.

Id like to think I'm not price sensitive when it comes to breakfast, if I am getting something special, the Wrestlers Naan at Dishoom in Shoreditch, Shakshouka at Duck and Waffle or an Eggs Benny in Greenwich Village, I'll pay £15 ($20), maybe more for a dish. This cafe, although very pleasant, is just a cafe in a back street. I had read the reviews on here and it looked like a nice choice but I was not expecting the eye watering prices. The average price for almost every breakfast dish here is £14-15, add £3 for a coffee and you are looking at £40 for 2 people. I took a deep breath and went for it, ordered a Chorizo Eggs Benedict and it was well cooked but not a premium price product. Chorizo was diced (source the course ground stuff for that original texture), avocado felt preprepared and over processed, muffins were normal muffins but burnt, eggs were done well, but eggs are eggs. No surprises, fresh herbs or flaked truffle, chilli, fennel seeds etc, just plain old eggs. The sauce was a fairly bland hollandaise (cream, tarragon, little more lemon maybe?). It was a £10 price point Benedict in my opinion. Anyway I sound like a pretentious pr**k but I travel the World eating breakfasts and when i'm not eating them I'm cooking them. This was a fairly good breakfast and the waitress was really nice and the food came out quickly and was hot, coffee was really nice, it just felt overpriced and if you are going in at that price point you need to be delivering something more. Maybe I made a bad choice of dish. Im not an expert on Cheltenham restaurants but I know the cafe down the road has a similar priced menu so maybe it's just a Cheltenham thing. I can only go on my experience and compare it to similar priced products in London, SF, NY etc (all expensive places)

The cafe/restaurant has a lovely menu, very nice staff and nice decor/chairs/environment. We ordered a coronation chicken sandwich and two drinks - lemon presse and fresh orange juice. The sandwich was actually a roll and the contents contained very little chicken. The menu does mention chutney and mayonnaise but chicken breast is the first ingredient mentioned. The filling was more like a pickle with tiny dots of chicken. And it was quite definitely not a sandwich. The lemon presse was a lemon juice with water on the side which would have been ok but it was £3.50 from memory. My orange juice was lovely. So very mixed and quite expensive for what it was - there's a difference between an £8 or £9 sandwich and roll. I accept cafes need to make a profit, but customers also need reasonable value for money and to be presented with something resembling what they ordered.

Held my Xmas party booking, due to covid, till tonight..Feb 22nd..amazing night and made many NHS workers happy. Scott is a top bloke and the beehive is a great pub and 100% recommended to anyone. Certainly made my team very happy tonight. Xmas pudding and Xmas crackers in February isnt too bad at all. Thank you all at the beehive

Stopped off for a quick lunch. Had a ham, cheese and tomato sandwich. Asked if it could be toasted and yes, no problem. Wasn’t as busy as I’ve seen it but that’s probably due to House of Fraser closing. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Sandwich was hot and tasty.

Don't bother with the golf here, a once lovely 18 holes golf course has been reduced to just 9 very average holes by the current owners, whilst all the "newer clubby" things cost a fortune.......trying to bring all the Londoners who have 2nd and 3rd homes here I suspect. Avoid!

Dear manager or owner...please help the good people who work there to be happier when in your service. You have a really nice place...serve your people and your customer with grace and thanks... Alot of the time...I don't feel this from your people...look after them.. Your business is marked differently from everything else at the top of the high street...keep going and remember people..and in this. Expect them to serve well. Good luck and thanks for the beers...im looking for better service

Such a cozy atmosphere! Came here with coworkers to have a pint, get some food, and watch the euros game and it was a perfect place for all three. The starter platters were amazing and I would highly recommend getting a few for the table. I loved my fish and chips and I heard the other meals were good as well.
