Really great food with the very best ingredients High but very fair prices Unfortunately very dog friendly! Not for me thanks

Found this place online as we were staying in Cheltenham for the weekend and wanted some breakfast. The food was delicious - so fresh and tasty! The staff were so lovely and attentive, even offering to carry our luggage upstairs for us. The menu is very extensive and it was honestly hard to choose what to have! I would definitely recommend visiting. It is slightly pricier than other local places serving breakfast but worth a visit. Would come again.

The breakfasts here are absolutely beautiful, the chefs really have an eye for detail and the food tastes delicious! I love the tiny butter parcels too :) I’m so sorry I can’t remember our waitresses name but she was absolutely fantastic and looked genuinely happy to be there. Clearly a very well managed restaurant!

Enjoyed a very tasty woodcraft breakfast. Premium sausage and Service was good. Only grumble was the heavy rock music was abit much for breakfast. Chipped plate. Would visit again in future.

Excellent service and food, great menu selection and although not cheap, it is good value for very good quality food. Can recommend the eggs Benedict and bacon roll!

Fantastic service and excellent food. Went there for a Brunch on my daughter's birthday. Three different dishes were cooked and served to perfection. The Avocado Rosti is magnificent. our other choices Full English and Eggs Florentine were equally given 5 stars. The service was also top notch

I had the gluten free breakfast and it was delicious. The hash brown was excellent but everything was cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Shall be back as they have a full menu of gluten free options to explore

Came down from Stafford to visit our son in Cheltenham for the day. Looking for somewhere different for brunch. Found this wonderful place just off the high street. Friendly, attentive staff and as good a selection of brunch meals as seen for a a while. The Chorizo Rosti was divine as was the Wild Mushrooms with the poached eggs cooked to perfection. Highly recommended!

I came here with a friend who lives in the Cotswolds. It was a great little find. Cosy and welcoming on entering. We had the Thai fishcakes with a bed of spicy lentils. It was tasty and filling and felt home-cooked and fresh. Wonderful experience and good little bistrot with friendly staff. Thank you.

Suitably pretentious and fake-elitist place for the pretentious and fake elites. We had the October Greek scrambled eggs, which arrived looking like a pool of twice-digested vomit on a round slightly burned flatbread garnished with sparse, but tasty salad leaves, cubed feta cheese and black olives. My plate was chipped which I only noticed half way through. An awful combination and all overpriced, as anticipated unfortunately.

Recently visited for breakfast, lovely menu and food was delicious. We had the full English and eggs royale. The coffees were lovely and hot. Great service too!! Will definitely be back!!!

Came in with my son, staff always friendly and make us feel welcomed, food always 10/10 they change their menu often and never disappoint, lovely selection of smoothies which we both enjoyed, deserving of a 5 star review, highly recommend this place for brunch!

I enjoyed a spectacularly good brunch at Woodkraft. I went to for the sweet potato rosti and added bacon to it. The preparation was second to none and the tastes ridiculously good. I was very impressed and would not hesitate to recommend this little cafe.

Woodkraft is my favourite brunch spot in Cheltenham. I would recommend booking ahead especially on a weekend. Lots of gluten free options and the food is always delicious. I went for brunch for my birthday with my partner recently and it was, as always, excellent.

We had brunch here a few weeks ago for the first time and booked ahead as there were 5 of us. The food was exceptional - really delicious and plentiful! We wanted to try everything off the extensive menu - it was that good! We’ve already booked to go back - we can’t wait! Good to see all staff wearing masks.

Our 3rd visit and lunch was lovely again. Friendly helpful staff and the most delicious toasted sandwiches ( must try something else from the delicious menu next time..) Coffee and cakes were also very good. A really great place ! 🙂

We phoned ahead to book a table for the three of us and dined on the first floor. There was plenty of hand sanitising stations and the tables well spaced. The service was excellent - can’t fault it. Drinks were brought quickly. My Husband had the Woodkraft Breakfast whilst my son had the Roast Beef Sunday lunch and I had the Nut Roast one. We ordered a side portion of hash brown bites too after seeing them on social media. All the food was outstanding and we really enjoyed it. But the hash browns are just out of this world so do try them if you visit. We had a nice view over Regent Street too and the whole experience was an extremely pleasant one where you felt relaxed. The toilets were very clean too and the decor makes you feel at home. The cleanliness of a place is a big issue for me suffering from OCD and I can say that I definitely rated the experience 10 out of 10. Look forward to returning very soon.

Glad we booked in advance as it was very busy for Sunday brunch, plus there were 6 of us. We all had different items from the menu. All beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. The staff were very attentive and helpful. At no stage were we rushed. A slight peeve, if you are not mobile it’s tricky to move around. The stairs up to the 1st floor were steep, however, this was further hampered by Christmas garlands wrapped around the banister. This made it difficult for me to grab hold over when walking up and down. Just a small matter but makes a big difference. A little forethought might have helped.

Best Tuna Melt I have ever tasted - DELISH! The waiting staff forgot about us and we waited quite a while, they generously knocked the price of the drinks from our bill - fantastic customer service.

We travelled to meet our son for lunch and were delayed because of train cancellations, however the staff kept a table free for us and couldn’t have been more accommodating. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and extremely efficient. The food was amazing too. Super flavours and well presented.We will definitely be back! Delicious food but my tuna sandwich could have been warmer and plate was also cold. My wife had the rosti with avocado which was also lovely. Service good. Will go again and would have given five stars but for luke warm food.

Waiting staff were friendly and welcoming. Surroundings stark, boring and uncomfortable. Our orders were taken promptly but waited almost half an hour for food, which was extremely disappointing. Poached eggs were cold. Bacon was inedible and was replaced. We decided against having coffee. The staff were apologetic and didn’t charge for the poached eggs. Would not recommend this cafe.

Too be fair, absolutely no fault or criticism to the service provided. Breakfast was certainly up there with one to positively remember. The hash brown was excellent.Disappointed by the hard fried eggs and sausages were just ok. Otherwise food and coffee's very good. Really pleased to find somewhere that we would have a group breakfast and collectively be happy to return to.

This was my first visit to Woodfraft where I went for brunch with friends. I had the eggs benedict which is usually my go to brunch meal. It was nice but I felt lacking in amount of food given its price and the fact The Find more or less next door is much better at portion size for the same price. More ham hock and hollandaise sauce next time would be most welcome. My friend was also deeply upset about the lack of GF pancakes!

I work in a cafe most days so am familiar with what's on offer in the area - and the standard is really high. I tried Woodkraft today for breakfast and was really disapointed. Really basic selection of food, a bit cold and very expensive. I'll be going back to my regular (next door but one) tomorrow.

Lots of options for vegetarian and vegan breakfasts! Super green smoothie was wonderful. Really enjoyed the sourdough toast too.

The staff were very friendly and the asparagus on toast was tasty. The smoothie was a little bit warm and could really do with some ice, and the N’Duja on toast almost had my boyfriend in tears - it really needs a warning it was VERY spicy. We were a little disappointed with our seats at the back next to the toilets which personally I wish cafes would not do - I’m sure we would all rather wait a little longer for a seat, and when leaving we noticed many empty tables in the downstairs area near the windows away from the loo.

Would highly recommend this for brunch or breakfast - particularly if you like something a little different from the norm. The food was exceptional - one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had.I had the caramelised bananas on sourdough with almond butter - which was absolutely delicious (wasn’t quite sure what to expect but thought it sounded interesting so would give it a try). And my husband was equally impressed with his crab/poached egg choice.

Came here over the 2nd May BH and was blown away, clean place, impeccable service and easily the best food I’ve had for breakfast for a long, long, long time. Even came back the day after just to double check and yes, I can confirm on day 2 it was just as amazing as day 1! The hash browns here are out of this world, worth travelling from wherever you live just to experience them! We will definitely be coming back!

Disappointed after booking a table over the phone for bank holiday Monday confirming with the lady they were open and booking a table taking my contact details, we turned up today to find the cafe closed with no phone call or notice on the door explaining why. Puts us off visiting again.

We always enjoy eating at Woodkraft. They do a lovely breakfast and lunch too. Visited last week and was very busy. Good service too. Would recommend visiting when in Cheltenham.

Shown to our table given no advice about things were going to be due to Covi-19 - given the menu but no details given re the food - had to ask what the soup was - Had the meal which was tasteless -table cleared and then waiting for something to happen - no follow up re deserts or coffee - found a poster which explained we would have to pay downstairs - felt service was poor - will not be returning again - shows lack of staff training

Had breakfast here this morning and it was excellent. In these tough times, it’s hard to keep the smile on your face, but the team was very friendly. The food was very tasty and used better quality ingredients than expected ( especially the sausages! ). Good job!

This was the first time I've eaten inside a restaurant or cafe since lockdown and I think that Woodkraft sets an excellent benchmark. The social distancing system is clear and well organised. Tables upstairs are well spaced out and the room is bright and airy. There are screens up at the counter but nothing felt clinical and staff were happy to answer a couple of questions about the menu.Brunch was a gluten-free smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs; and a gluten-free eggs benedict ham hock. Both were superb, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The gluten-free toast was very good. We ordered a couple of soft drinks but I was very impressed with the locally inspired cocktails! Next time...Fantastic service from all of the staff. Sorry that we forgot to tip but I am finding this an issue now I don't really carry cash! I will definitely return here on my next visit to Cheltenham and I would thoroughly recommend it for gluten free options.

Excellent from start to finish - Food was perfect - Ceasar Salad and Eggs Benedict. The staff ensured the environment was ultra clean and safe, but at the same time made the experience a friendly and enjoyable one!

Wife and I treated ourselves to a slow walk around the town. Feeling hungry we took a look down Regent Street as we both agreed that we wanted to try and support a smaller establishment given the COVID situation. We happened upon Woodkraft and after looking at the lunch options we both settled a salad box. I went with the Chicken Cesar Salad box and the wife went with the loaded nachos box and a milkshake each. Ordering was easy and the lady who was working was friendly. You can see the kitchen and the place was spotless which given the situation at the moment is probably a bigger thing than usual. Our order took about five minutes for them to prepare and I have to say it was fantastic! My box was loaded with chicken breast which was juicy and fresh and bacon cooked to just the right level of “crispness”. We sat outside on the promenade and both thoroughly enjoyed the lunch. I will be returning at the earliest opportunity! Please give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

First meal out after lockdown and we defiantly made the right choice! The staff were lovely and welcoming, the restaurant was clean, tidy and made us feel completely safe the whole time! The chef was incredibly accommodating and went as far as to make a bespoke breakfast to meet my dietary requirements. We will most certainly returning again soon! Thank you to everyone.

By far my favourite place in cheltenham for either a quick coffee or brunch. They do lovely oat milk lattes and the eggs benedict is always so good. It can get busy so booking is definitely advisable! But they have a lovely spot in the window which is perfect for window gazing. Only thing I'd comment on is that the music upstairs can be a bit loud/overpowering. But this may just be a personal preference of mine.

Perfect brunch location and if they do it again definitely try the tomahawk steak evening as it’s so good. Sometimes the service is a bit slow but not enough to put you off.

20 minute wait for a coffee and orange juice and when chased got an apology as an afterthought. Food was lovely and came fairly quickly, just a muck up on the drinks. Wouldn't have minded if it hadn't have been dealt with a bit better.

This is a great little spot. Friendly and chatty staff, we had the best breakfast ever. The food was piping hot, everything was so tasty. Sourdough bread was a banger and they were the tastiest hash browns! Defo get them! Overall, would definitely recommend!

Wonderful staff, beautiful food and coffee and great selection of cakes. I nearly always order the vegan breakfast because it is that good. It includes vegan butter which I can't believe is not butter, and a vegan black pudding which is beautiful. If you are a vegan and need a breakfast or brunch option, look no further.

Our third visit to Woodkraft within six months and great to see the quality of the food and Sunday roasts has not faltered. They are amongst the best we've ever had. We arrived later in the afternoon on the Sunday between Christmas and New Year and the accommodating staff did not hurry us to finish at 4pm closing time, which was nice. The waiting team are a credit to the establishment.

Disappointing. Nice space but food was bland and there was no welcome. Felt a bit lost walking in. Smokey egg mayo wasn’t smokey and chicken burger was bland too. The coffee was good. We have had better food here but today wasn’t a pleasure. We felt we had wasted our money this time.

Popped in for brunch and was tempted by the various pancake options, especially as they had GF pancakes. Chose bacon and maple syrup pancakes - absolutely delicious, never had such tasty bacon in years. Good quality tea too and all served very promptly. Definitely coming back to try their main menus.

Decided to visit for Lunch after seeing their social media posts particularly their burger. the burger was served with fries and their special sauce. It was a delicious lunch and burger was very tasty.

We found this lovely bistro in tripadvisor. It was the perfect location as we had matinee tickets at the Everyman Theatre, yesterday 21/11/19.

We continue to rely on this place for consistently excellent brunch/breakfast, our latest visit being late this morning for brunch. We received very efficient, friendly service to supplement the excellent tasty food - my choice today was the vegetarian breakfast which makes a tempting picture.

The only reason this doesn’t have an excellent rating is because they didn’t have Aperol, & we had to ask several times for things like a jug of water, & sugar.

My first visit to Woodkraft was for a Sunday roast, and I can honestly say you can't get a roast dinner of this high a standard anywhere else around Cheltenham/Gloucester! Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection.

Been to Woodkraft twice now for breakfast when visiting Cheltenham. First time was on off chance, and staff we wonderful in sorting us out a table. Had a mixture of cooked breakfast, pastries, coffee and juice from the Brunch menu. The WK breakfast was absolutely delicious as was everything else.

So let me start by saying a issue with our Sunday booking left us not pleased however the excellent customer service, tone of apology and the way it was resolved enables me to review in the most favourable manner. S**t happens and sometimes it's no ones fault.

Found ourselves in Cheltenham Saturday morning, so decided to go here for breakfast, after finding it online and noticing it was owned by former Master Chef runner-up Simon Wood. On entering Woodkraft, the signs were good. The clean, bang-on-trend grey and natural wood décor augured well. We headed upstairs to a small dining area with well spaced tables, and found a nice spot by an open window overlooking Regent St. When it arrived after a short wait ( long enough to instil confidence, short enough to avoid impatience), the food did not disappoint. The Woodkraft version of the 'Full English' was blindingly good, with every element cooked to perfection. The hash browns are divine, and the small pre-heated pot kept the baked beans nicely hot. My wife ordered the mushrooms and poached eggs on sourdough toast, which arrived looking ready to grace the cover of a Woodkraft cookery book. Coffee was great too, and piping hot (I hate tepid 'hot drinks'). Add in efficient and friendly service, and unexpectedly good value for money, and I have to say that Woodkraft have it sussed. Well done Simon and the team. We shall return!

Great service, great value and great food. Every time I come here it’s excellent and would recommend visiting if you haven’t.
