Victoria's in Cheltenham

Wonderful, a nice dinner that I could put on my posh frock for.

Just had lunch with friends and it was first class throughout! Staff, food choice and atmosphere were terrific. Portions were generous, and we all left with the feeling that we would return - the set price 2 course lunch menu with wine at £22 is fantastic value for the quality offered - well done Victoria's.

The exceptional service and delicious food. Ismail and Ajay were very attentive, courteous and generally lovely! Ismail made us the most delicious cocktail and even brought up a birthday surprise plate of macarons to our suite.

A second visit since new year for a family lunch. We ordered from the lunch set menu on both visits. It has exceeded our expectations on both occasions. Excellent value for money. The service was first class. We started with a glass of English fizz with niibbles & starters. Our mains were faultless, haddock in a very light batter. Our dessert of ice cream was very enjoyable. A glass of wine was included. The set lunch menu included a very nice glass of wine. I would have given 5 stars, but I think 12.5% service automatically added is a not necessary. Most diners will tip if they are pleased with service. I think diners should be given the option to tip or not. Our service was very worthy of a tip Yulia & Ben were excellent on our visit. To end our visit, we had lovely warm coats to go home.

The 3 course dinner was not only perfectly cooked but wonderfully presented. The service (from Ajay) was gentle, understated but very professional.

Our family of four had the festive afternoon tea. It isn't the cheapest, but I would eat there again - good food and great service. I wondered what the children's menu would be like, as some can be average compared to the adults. However, they were amazing! I was actually quite jealous of their iced shortbread cookie. Editing my review to add that we went this year, and the children's menu wasn't as good; no gingerbread snowman, no candy cane, no macarons, and regular cut sandwiches, not reindeer shaped . Some of the children's items were from the adult menu, and not child friendly. The last photo is today's offering. Will look to go elsewhere next time.

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at the hotel. We loved the decor and feel of the hotel. Everywhere is exceptional clean and tidy. Our room, a junior suite, was amazing. We wanted for nothing. Bar was very cozy and welcoming. Dining room is beautifully decorated and spacious. Breakfast choice amazing as was dinner. Waiting staff great especially Yuliia. We had no problem parking on site but car park was busy at times.Not cheap at £15 per night but worth it to have the car close by. Hotel very close to some fantastic bars and restaurants if you want to venture out. Great stay , highly recommend

Came for a catch up dinner with a friend and the food and service were sublime! The char Sui chicken starter was delicious. We both couldn’t decide if we wanted the pork or beef so had both and shared and we were not disappointed! And desserts were a perfect way to finish off. The apple panna cotta was lovely and refreshing and the brownie reminded us of school days! The service was great from the lovely Sienna who stopped for a chat with my friend about where to visit on her trip to Australia. Also shout out to Gabriel who also was attentive and gave great service. We will definitely be back soon!

Perfect setting for Dinner with a friend. The restaurant is very cosy, with beautiful decor. We sat in the window had some amazing Espresso Martini Cocktails made by Ishmael. Yulia was our waitress she was pleasant, smiley and full of knowledge on the menu. We dined from the new a la carte menu and it was delicious I can highly recommend the Pan Fried Scallops. Will be returning very soon.

The restaurant is perfect for a date night. Not too loud - nice music in the background and romantic lighting. The ambiance is perfect. The staff were all so pleasant and welcoming! Very knowledgeable, cheerful and helpful. We had an amazing meal - and such great vegetarian options - Borlotti dip for a starter and Goat’s cheese soufflé surrounded by juicy salad for the main - you can’t go wrong with that! Definitely will be back for more!

What can I say about Victorias, The food was made with quality ingredients, good portions and excellent service. The restaurant is is airy and had comfortable chairs. It has a lovely view of either the monpelliar gardens or the hotel garden. On the day we went (Saturday) there was live music from a musician who was got you involved with asking for a request and played a mix of genres to cater to everyone. The service I feel needed a special mention as we were served by 3 different people and everyone of them were accomodating, super friendly and fast with service.

Wow, what a fantastic welcome here. Superb food and the most amazing service we’ve ever experienced. We are here to celebrate my 50th birthday and the staff were exceptional particularly Tasmail & Yulia. They really did make me feel very special and I was incredibly touched. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant and hotel enough. We will definitely return. Thank you! X

The best Espresso Martini I've had. Ask for Sakis to make it. Balanced, foamed, rich and complex. Boom!

Good food, good service and a good atmosphere contributed to a very enjoyable evening. But we should have shared the dessert, rather than having one each as it was very rich!

Had afternoon tea here on numerous occasions. Also my venue of choice to celebrate several events. Today I asked if we could have some food outside to be told that it wasn't really set up properly. Not to worry I said, happy to pull up a chair as other guests had done (a couple were sat outside drinking). Ok, the gentleman waiter with the gold stud earring said, and handed me some menus (which did not reflect the entire offerings inc. the set menu, kids menu or afternoon tea). Quite a while later, and almost ready to give up, our waiter returned to inform us that their supervisor had advised that he could not serve us outside due to a licensing issue (?) And that the couple at the next table had ordered their drinks at the bar and taken them outside. Ok we ll eat inside and then take our drinks outside? I offered. Followed him inside to find him talking about us to the other members of staff on duty; ushering them in close and whispering in their ears. Unaware that we were stood behind him. He seemed frustrated; gesturing with his hands. Sat us down and then ignored us whilst another waiter took over. Refused to make eye contact whilst he moved around the room being extremely polite to other diners. I asked my daughter if she thought he was being rude towards us and she agreed. Enjoyed my food whilst watching the garden area fill up with guests being served, and paying for, their drinks... Perhaps the gentleman could have simply explained the real reason for being unable to eat outside (whatever the reason is) and then I wouldn't have been perplexed and he wouldn't have behaved as if I was being difficult when I was as polite and friendly as they come.

We were staying at the hotel and had tried a couple of outside venues, but had to give the in house restaurant a try. Nice, mellow background music, a real old fashioned charm from the staff. I could easily have pigged out on the breads...

We were staying at the Queens and decided to eat in the hotel. We had our dog for us and they found us a dedicated area out of the main restaurant, which is fair on other diners. Our waitress Penny was friendly, well informed about...

Four of us enjoyed a leisurely midweek lunch. Service is knowledgeable, responsive, and discreetly unobtrusive. Not an extensive menu, but a reasonable selection. We visited on a Monday lunchtime. The restaurant was quiet except a table taking afternoon tea. The window cleaners are on the roof cleaning the atrium window ( this should be done out of service times) the mirrors are smeary and the little table is...

Love the homemade bread and the butter. I also enjoyed my chicken roast but it would be great if it came with less gravy as overall it was a bit too salty to me.

Having eaten here twice in the past couple of months and had above and beyond service, I enquired about exclusive use of the garden area and horse box prosecco bar to celebrate the launch of my bestselling book, The Little Book of Confusables. Alannah in the events team could not have been more helpful. On the night we had superb service from Mac, Eleanor and the team who made us feel incredibly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Fab central Cheltenham location, highly recommended. Thank you all :)

I came with my family in the evening to have dinner together and we were pleasantly impressed by the service and the taste of the food. Friendly waiters and the food is prepared quickly. The burger ordered was beef and chips, big and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to spend a pleasant evening with friends and family.

Lovely evening. Waiting staff very attentive, food really high standard, good wine selection. My personal highlight was being able to enjoy a meal in Central Cheltenham on a Saturday night without droves of people around, it was a last minute reservation too!

Fantastic food served piping hot in an attractive restaurant by the brilliant waitress Maria. You need to dine at Victoria's, which is in the impressive Queen's Hotel, to fully appreciate what I got so excited about. The chef is amazingly talented.

We enjoyed a stunning meal in Victorias, after finally being allowed by out and dining in a restaurant. Staff were tentative and very friendly, the service was perfect. They did a great job considering it was the first official week back open after lockdown. Well...

This was our third visit for Christmas Day Lunch and again was a very welcoming event. Very friendly staff and excellent service and we felt very safe in the Covid secure environment. Thank you once again for an excellent meal and enjoyable day.

This restaurant has been refurbished since we last visited and is lovely. The food remains very high quality - we had Christmas eve dinner and Christmas day lunch and both were excellent - hot, tasty, beautifully presented and served with a smile.

Everything was perfect from the welcome, to the food. To start the staff also explained us their Gin menù which was a lovely touch and a perfect way to start our lunch. I absolutely recommend you to try the crab ravioli and the crunchy coliflower...

Wonderful breakfast and service

It's a great venue and it's great to eat in the garden. My only issue was a mix up with our order. The food was good and we went for a lunch meal.
