The Soho Bar in Cheltenham

We had a very,good experience at this restaurant with friends on our second night in Cheltenham.The Soho bar were very welcoming and offered a good menu and drinks choice.The staff were very professional and looked after us throughout our stay.It was very much pub food but very tasty .

We stumbled across this hidden gem whilst running out of options for somewhere to eat. The waitress greeted us with a smile and welcomed us in and we had a lovely meal! I would recommend the fish and chips and the jacket potato with chilli!

Excellent new food menu. Buffalo chicken wings and homemade beef burger were delicious. Nice atmosphere and good service.

Visited for eat out to help out and they had also just launched a new menu the food is outstanding and has lovely atmosphere along with helpful and smiley staff will definitely visit again ✅👍

He estado en un par de veces y además de los increíbles cócteles del Soho, ¡la comida es fresca y deliciosa! Probé la boloñesa y como italiano le di mi aprrovol y tengo altos estándares. ¡La ensalada india de verano fue un plato de fusión increíble que es perfecto para el verano! ¡El personal es siempre asombroso! ¡Baja al bar sobo!

Vine hoy para comer y tomar unas copas. La comida era absolutamente impresionante, las mejores patatas fritas de la ciudad muy bien presentadas y el pollo estaba tan tierno y los postres eran para morirse. Los cócteles son encantadores ya un precio tan razonable. El personal era tan encantador; especialmente Ali e Inese, que fueron muy acogedores y nos hicieron sentir como en familia. ¡Definitivamente volveremos gracias!

Amazing food! Drinks were also really good! Would recommend, Ali was really good and the food came quickly! 10/10

We didn't sample one of their cocktails so cannot comment. The lady at the bar was extremely friendly and helpful. Starters were ok - tempura prawns and Thai fishcakes. Main courses not so great - hamburger and cod & chips. Plenty of places to choose from in Montpellier and this was not one of the best on the night we visited.

15th Feb 10pm Bar was quiet but went in for a drink. The whole bar smelt like a well bleached toilet trying to block out the wafts or bad smell. Put off my drinks

Exceptional set menu and great value. We’ve visited twice now and both times the food has been well presented and tasty. Very friendly staff. Can’t fault it and it is now our go to place to eat when we visit Cheltenham.

My friend rang ahead booked a table for Birthday cocktails at 12.30pm on Friday. (The first time she rang she was rudely told they were too busy to take her call and that she had to call back!) We turned up only to find the place closed!! The opening time has apparently changed to 4pm on Fridays. Extremely disappointing - won't be going back and have taken our business elsewhere!! This is not the first time we've experienced rude staff in this establishment so I would advise others to avoid!! Such a shame as the cocktails we've had there in the past really are lovely - but the attitude of staff let it down.

En un hermoso día soleado, hicimos un viaje a Cheltenham, estacionamos (muy fácilmente) en Rotunda Terrace, paseamos y paramos en SoHo Bar & Eatery, inicialmente solo para tomar una copa. El camarero salió a las mesas fuera para tomar nuestro pedido. Entregó nuestras bebidas con prontitud y nos informó que podía abrir una cuenta, si no hubiera sido por una sirena de ambulancia en la parte superior de la carretera, fácilmente podría haber pensado que estaba en el extranjero. Los menús nos fueron traídos a su debido tiempo, elegí la tabla de pescado y mi compañero eligió del menú fijo (2 platos para 12) alitas de pollo picantes y calientes y la hamburguesa. La comida se entregó a tiempo, a medida que más y más clientes venían a tomar asiento al sol. El servicio fue fantástico (y solo había una persona). Era eficiente, pero no mostraba signos de presión, incluso cuando estaba tomando pedidos de comida, haciendo y sirviendo cócteles, y luego sirviendo la comida.Mi compañero quedó impresionado con las alitas de pollo, pero ambos nos quedamos asombrados con el plato principal, la hamburguesa se servía en una bandeja enharinada en una tabla de pan y estaba acompañada por una porción de papas fritas y un plato de ensalada. Visited twice in one day on a trip to Cheltenham. The staff are great, attentive nd friendly. They make great cocktails, the espresso martini and caiparinhia wee excellent. Lovely bar snacks too, the board with bread,hummus and olives is great.

Had a birthday celebration here,and it was fabulous.Food was great and cocktails lovely and good value.This place has a lovely chilled out atmosphere and the staff are friendly.Will definitely return.

Had the best time at SoHo Bar for my 21st the buffet and canapé food was delicious! They really made it special the cocktails were beautifully made and it’s a great atmosphere for many occasions.

Nice little bar, good cocktails and great live music. Would have been a perfect night if it wasn’t for the owner getting into a massive fight and smashing a glass on a customer of his... absolutely dreadful ! Being quite generous with my 3 stars ... drinks were good and live artist was amazing and that is the only reason for my rating! The owner should be ashamed of himself; you pay security to kick people out and you certainly don’t bottle them!!

Hace poco tuve la fiesta de cumpleaños de mi madre en Soho y fue increíble. Precios realmente razonables, gran ambiente, delicioso canap s! Y el personal es simplemente increíble! ! Nada es demasiado para ellos, todos son tan útiles; Incluso decoraron nuestra área de fiesta para nosotros.

Organicé la noche de despedida de mis hermanas en Soho el sábado 15 de septiembre con 19 mujeres. Comimos abajo, en la parte trasera del bar, y tomamos un cóctel en el bar de champán. Todos los aspectos de la noche fueron geniales, el personal de ambas partes fue atento e increíblemente trabajador y todos se lo pasaron de maravilla. Muy buena relación calidad-precio para una despedida de soltera para damas de todas las edades! Bien hecho Soho Bar! !

Came here with friends for a birthday meal after googling restaurants in cheltenham and so pleased we came here!! Portion sizes were fantastic, staff were really friendly and the cocktails and food were great. Definitely recommend

The day we visited was quiet but the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. There was a large choice if you were eating or just sampling the various beers on offer.

We ate at lunchtime served by an excellent waiter. We had fish and chips with sides of salad and mushy peas from the buy 2 courses from 3 for the cost of £10.00 each. Represented good value for money. The fish was tasty and the batter crispy and light though thankfully not greasy. We enjoyed our hour sat outside in lovely sunshine. I would normally have expected more customers present but I hope this eatery can live much than it's seven year life so far. I recommend a visit even if teetotal.

The 2 course lunch set menu is exceptional value with a wide choice. Fish and chips served with mushy peas, tartar sauce, lemon and a lovely little side salad was beautifully presented and well prepared. Light batter, not at all greasy and a generous portion. The waiter was attentive, polite and unobtrusive. We spent a lovely hour or so eating outdoors in the sunshine. Will return.

We went to a cocktail masterclass taught by Jordan and we absolutely loved it. We got to make 2 cocktails each and had an arrival cocktail. Jordan was brilliant he made the masterclass so fun and my friend had a brilliant birthday celebration!! Would definitely recommend :)

Have been to lunch today at The Soho Bar in Montpellier. We were looked after by Adam, who was excellent. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed tailor made cocktails, try the Soho Collins, mmmm. We also had lunch from the set menu, which, whilst being great value, was really tasty, and more than enough. If you appreciate great service, value for money, and a relaxing atmosphere, this is the place for you.

We had a fantastic time, reserved a large table, had loads of really good cocktails, and the staff were excellent. We didn't eat, so can't comment on food, but everything else was great,

Came here for a friends birthday on a busy Saturday with a group of mates and the staff straight away sorted us out an area with drinks and seats. Great atmosphere with amazing music until late in the night, massive thanks to Ryan for the amazing service.. anyone wanting cocktails needs to see this guy!

Was served by Jordan at the bar. She was cheerful and pleasant and just made my trip to the bar so much better. Cocktails were great, food was also yummy and not massively expensive. Will be returning soon

When I arrived here starving I was delighted to see a Cajun chicken burger on the well presented menu and this is what I opted for . I would highly recommend this Succulent chicken breast oodling with spices and juice which I think is important with chicken cause it can be quite easily over cooked and dry. This was far from it!

Came here for Valentines Day cocktails, and served by the excellent “Adam” making it a great evening to remember.

My friend and I decided to split a a meal between the two of us . We had the fish finger baguette which is best described as warm hearty comfort food that brings on a smile . The succulent flaky fish coated in crunchy golden crumbs tasted well seasoned and I sensed perhaps a drizzle of lemon and black pepper which tickled the tastebuds, they sit inside the warm baguette nicely with crispy salad leaf and gorgeous traditional tartar sauce which one would expect . The fries came in a little pot and was spot on as was the little salad garnish . There was a lemon wedge as well for an added bit flavour if needed but we chose not to use the lemon .

After having a very badly served meal down the road at Flynns we thought we would cool off here and...

Nothing short of perfect. The service was both friendly and professional. Big thanks for Ness and Ryan. The steaks are as good as any in Cheltenham. Would endlessly recommend!

Came here for cocktails before eating at Voojan which is just down the road. Table service which was nice and the waitress was lovely. Cocktails were fantastic, any two for £12.

Came here for a works party and had excellent service from start to finish we highly recommend the buffet service as all the food is fantastic will definitely be back!!!!!!

We could not fault the Soho bar, the staff, the service, the atmosphere and the food exceptional. I dropped my knife on the floor when the restaurant was full and within 5 seconds it was replaced. We asked if we could have apple with our delicious cheese board and the waitress without hesitation went out of the restaurant and bought apples!! Best service we have ever experienced in any restaurant. Thank you Soho Bar and Restaurant we will return.....

Ok bar. Sort of small town and old fashioned though. Doesn’t smell great and plays pretty standard music. I’d give it a miss.

Me and my friend went to Soho bar last Sunday and we had the best espresso martinis in the town only 2 for £12 and we had amazing burgers 2 for £12 as well .Best cocktail Bar in Cheltenham and I highly recommend to everyone.

There was loads of food! Quantity over quality! The chicken tasted like it had been microwaved and I could barely eat any of it... won't be ordering from here again.

Been to the best bar in montpellier with my friends again and had an amazing juicy ram steak and my favorite red wine "Tempranillo Merlot Syrah". Recommend to everyone always :-)

Great time at Soho Bar, was my mother's birthday, on holiday here from New Zealand. Dishes ordered were cod and chips, chicken burgers, beef burgers, salads and wraps. I really was impressed with my bahji wrap and was yummy. Everyone struggled to eat all of the food provided, such huge portions. Service with a smile and fantastic cocktails. Special flaming shot was provided by the manager to celebrate mums birthday, a very nice gesture. Thanks guys for the great evening

Dined here out of spontenity due to passing by on a wonderful sunny evening . Opted for the scrumptious beef strips served on a bed of baby gem . Had a glass of prosecco also in this high end bar and eatery

I had a superb night in soho last Thursday. It's such a fun place to go with a brilliant atmosphere. The staff are always friendly, funny and attentive. My friends and I never go anywhere else in Montpellier now. Special shout out to bar staff, especially Nes who always keep us entertained...

Soho Bar kindly provided us with a chilled cocktail class on a Saturday afternoon, booked last minute the day before! My experience is that compared to other bars that offer this in Cheltenham (minimum 6 people, £25 each) Soho Bar offers an excellent service and cocktail class (no minimum number of people, £20 each) including a glass of bubbly on arrival and a lesson on how to make two different tasty cocktails. The Barman Dave who ran the class was fun, knowledgeable and patient. We visited as a bridal group - 2 bridesmaids, a bride-to-be and the mother of the bride, and we all had a fantastic time. We hadn't visited before but we will be back! Thank you for making our afternoon so special.

It was our first visit to the Soho bar yesterday we had pre booked the Champagne Bar for a private function for our son and his fiancée . A great time was had by all who attended . The buffet food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and gave us excellent service nothing was too much trouble .Afterwards we all went down into the main bar it was great to see such a diverse clientele all enjoying themselves . Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely visit again

Soho is a great place to drink in Montpellier for any occasion- they do fantastic cocktails delivered by great service. Everyone is very friendly which greatly contributes to a great night out! highly recommend!!

Visited for the first time yesterday with a couple of girlfriends, as it was so tempting to eat lunch in the sunshine. Two of us choose the platters, and they were delicious and excellent value. The pretty American was waitress gave us excellent service. Now looking forward to returning for a cocktail evening.

Me and my friends went to Soho bar yesterday. I ordered Indian summer salad and it was amazing. They have really good wine collection, the red sierrà à àlta malbec is my favorite one. I highly recommend to everyone who loves nice food and nice wine .

Having just moved to Cheltenham, I discovered this place. Amazing staff and phenomenal cocktails. Live music once a week on Thursdays, is great fun! Well worth a visit!

Booked by for my 21st birthday, got kicker out because one of the 'locals' started on us and the bar managers stuck up for them rather than us, would never go back there, very hostile and rude

We found this by chance, and had a lovely thursday evening there. We went, as a couple, for food and were joined by friends later on for drinks. The starters were excellent, tasty tempura prawns and amazing bbq ribs. The mains, steak and the chicken salad from the grill were also excellent. The service was excellent from start to finish and we all had a really enjoyable evening. We would definitely go back in future. Great cocktails too!

This little place in Montpellier was a good place for an early dinner tonight. Comfortable chairs are arranged at the front of the restaurant - because it is small it is quite quiet. Service was excellent. Menu is fairly short but there should be something for everyone's tastes. Would visit again.

Fantastic place for drinks and food. Amazing cocktails. I love their drinks offers 2 peroni for £5 , 2 Stella for £4 its such a bargain in Montpellier. will definitely return and highly recommend for everyone.

Went into Soho bar with my dad it was amazing. Great deals on food and drink.2 burgers for £12 great deal. I had had mocktail it was brilliant made by inesa pretty lady would recommend this place to everyone and will return .

Excellent service from our waiter Adam. Great food too. We came here not having a clue where we were let alone anything about the bar. Was very busy but that there was no delay on the food and the standard was A1! The best part was the bill, not to expensive and worth every penny. If we ever return to Cheltenham we will come back.

Took a chance whilst in town shopping. Not looking for anything special but that's how it turned out. The menu might be limited but all four of us had excellent starters and mains. The Chilean wine we tried was superb (and reasonably priced), but the biggest surprise of all was when the owner, Ansar, introduced us to an even better - Indian! - wine and then made us a present of the bottle! His Colombian wife and mother in law were also lunching so I even had a chance to practise my Spanish. Lunch on a shopping trip to town doesn't get much better than this. If you want tasty food in the friendliest of environments, this is the place to be. We'll certainly be back. (Thank you, Ansar!)

Was down visiting friends within the cotswolds and felt like a drink and a bite to eat , this place really is of upmost unparalleled excellence with its decor and staff that visibly enjoy their jobs. The dishes on offer are sort of international and there's some things that are like a quick snack and others that u can take your time and savour more . The chargrilled lamb koftas are great !!!!

Me and my friends went to the soho bar last Friday on our night out, we had the most amazing time! Great service from all the bar staff, first we ordered espresso martini and dirty martini and moon made the most amazing cocktail we've ever had! We must of had about five of that same cocktail it was lovely! The music was great they played any song we wanted which made our night even better! We definitely will be returning and recommend this for anybody.

Absolutely the best place for happy hour, and I cannot believe the value of their VIP cards. £10 for the year?! Result! The majority of the bar staff are all very polite and very knowledgeable, being a locally trading hair stylist, a lot of my clients say how good the cocktail master classes are, and for me there's something special about being served by an attractive man in a waistcoat, keep up the good work guys x

My girlfriend and I recently discovered this treasure of a bar. It's so nice to meet staff who are genuinely friendly and really take an interest in you. Such a warm welcome and good food and great value drinks as well. Special mention to "Moon" "Enessa" and "David" who could not do enough for us. We are definitely going to be regulars from now on.

Went to Cheltenham for the day shopping and was promptly drawn to the Montpelier area due to its distinctive high class feel and cool boutiques , gardens and bars :) By chance stumbled across an absolute gem of a place ; Soho Bar ! On arriving u are welcomed by a chilled feel with music setting an ambient tone making the customer feel welcome and at ease .I was handed a cocktail menu by a member of staff named moon with a varied selection all very reasonably priced especially so considering this being the smart end of this regency town . I opted for the dark & stormy .. With the phase spiced rum Has never tasted so good adorning the menu ; I have to say this really is the case ! The combination of captain Morgan's with limes , angostura bitters and ginger beer really does hit the spot ! Simply Devine :) After sipping on my drink I began to feel tempted by their wide selection of food on offer and was surprised by their diverse range that caters for many tastes . As a starter I decided upon the Thai fishcakes which tastes spicy but not too much so and provided a nice kick , they was accompanied by an oriental salad & I must say astonishing value for money . As a main I chose the hunters chicken which was filling and overall also good value for money , the melted cheese which tops this dish makes it so addictive and I'm gonna have to recommend this to a friend for sure :) A great find and hope to return should I so be in the area again ! X

The food was So delicious we hâd 2 courses! My girlfriends Steak was perfectly cooked-medium rare,and my burger was so yum! And we hâd cocktails 2 FOR 10! It îs i think The best cocktail bar in Montpellier. I will definitly return!

Decided to go for a meal and a couple of cocktails during the week.Walking into the bar, you are welcomed by a clean, tidy and loungy atmosphere!After ordering some amazing cocktails crafted by the lovely barmaid Inese, we decided to have lunch as well.The starters were amazing and well presented, the mains prepared to perfection!Will recommend to anyone!Next time we are in town, we will be back!Well done Soho Bar!

How nice to be served good food great service by someone who is happy helpful and enjoys there job , my partner and myself were seated outside in the Gourgous sunshine choose chicken ticka with parathas sweet potato chips mint rahjita and salad , it was hot tasty and outstanding shared by both of us great food lovely location fantastic service would recommend to anyone

We walked past on a number of occasions before I finally persuaded hubby to go in (it was always empty so i'm assuming it gets busy very late on).I had the amaretto royal which was delicious and then a Soho Collins (again delish!). The staff our friendly but when hubby went to use the toilets he said they were very untidy and there was mess (paper etc) up the starway. Given it was early evening I can only assume they'd not tidied up from the night before? However, I judge them on the cocktails they made for me which were fabulous!

Inessa is an amazing barmaid who makes the most amazing espresso martinis walking gods green earth , she loves making them so would recommend ask for her to make them. The bar is friendly and a great place to go to have a great time. Hot and sexy staff ( Dave ain't bad neither) . No place I would rather be than here .... Wohoooooo ....

Been drinking here for several months and hot damn I've had a hoot, not left sober once.The rum old fashions will blow your socks off, and inessa the bar maid will make you the best espresso martini this side of the Mississippi.Also if you have the esteemed pleasure of meeting a top lad named Dave behind the bar then you are on to a winner, he is willing to except payment for booze in the form of crisp high fives.Anyway I've got a habit to feed so let's keep the party going, happy hunting and keep it sleezy

Came one random evening, it was fairly busy. I was mainly drinking G&T but each time me and my friends ordered one the price changed... fluctuated between £4.50 to £5.50 for the same thing! Other than that, it was a standard typical bar.

Agreed to meet some friends there for a quick bite to eat and some drinks, was greeted by some very nice staff who were easy to get along with, service was excellent and our food arrived reasonably quickly. Very nice atmosphere and environment, will definitely be going back.

We chose this venue to have our wedding party because we were after somewhere that was easily accessible for our guests, enough space for a band and dancing, food, various drink packages, and a place that was carefully decorated to create a fun atmosphere but also an occasion. First off, we had the most wonderful time. Everything went so smoothly and all the staff put so much effort into our evening. There was never a cue at the bar, the finger food was just as promised, really tasty, we will be returning in the future for more! A special thankyou to the doorman who was ever so good, a really nice man, the photographer who they had was having so much fun that captured the guests having fun rather than stopping to smile politely, but most of all Ali, I don't know how you managed to capture exactly what we were after but you did and executed it brilliantly. We had so many of our guests say to us afterwards that they thought having a wedding party in a bar was odd but now they would highly recommend it. Thankyou for everything and we look forward to returning lots in the future.

Went early evening on a Sat night. Six of us, really wanted some cocktails. Very strange atmosphere when we got in, few men watching football on to, hen party group by bar about to leave. Staff looked at us like we really not welcome. (We were dressed in smart casual) but had walked across town in rain to try it out. Place was heated so hot as well.Due to lack of welcome and strange atmosphere we left and went across street to all bar one. Staff very welcoming and said hi and let us find you a seat.

Attended a Sunday evening wedding party here. Fun place, has style, friendly staff. Room for the band behind the bar area with a small dance floor. We had a finger style buffet which was very good quality food. Seating outside perfect on a lovely sunny evening.

Awesome food and drink! Great staff Great atmosphere and quality drinks and food. A beautiful place to retreat in the day to get work done or to just chill out and quite the top spot for a night out with class! Celebrating the BIG 40th at the Champagne bar in Soho Bar. Great private bar upstairs catering for 40+. Staff were great from beginning to end, happy to flex as required to ensure the evening was a success. In addition to having your own private bar/music/toilets we opted for our party to have a buffet which was delicious and well presented, once again the staff were happy to flex on the existing buffet menu.If you enjoy a cocktail - don't worry over 120 to choose from!Beers and shots on promotion through out the evening.At the end of the night (early hours!) there was no hurrying you out of the venue it was all about having had a great evening and Happy Birthdays!Would 100% recommend

Out with friends for a meal nearby so called in for a drink. My husband patiently waited to be served it wasnt that busy but the bar staff and the resident photo guy were lining up a row of drinks to photograph. Funny I thought customers came first. Anyway the guy was rude to us and said my husband should have moved so he could take a pic of the cocktails. Manager was ok when I complained but that was my first and last visit.

This is the best bar ive been too so welcoming amazing staff and you get that abroad feeling in there always a good night very good offers on drinks aswell as exceptionally good food i highly recommend this place to anyone :)

Great venue....One of the only places i know in cheltenham to get a cheeky early afternoon cocktail. Always welcome. Ali, Moon and all the staff for that matter are more than accommodating. A versatile little bar, great live music, great food and great cocktails. Do visit regularly and will continue to do so !

Lively and busy bar with good variety of cocktails, and a small dancing area. Friendly and fast service from the bar staff, and an overall friendly atmosphere. Would visit again.
