Delightful ambience and helpful staff, but more specifically the BEST mocha with oat milk I’ve ever had. Thick, creamy, delicious. Highly recommended.

Decent size cup of coffee (unlike 131) and a very decent price. Nice shortbread cake with chocolate. Not a great deal of cake selection? Good, clean toilets. Service was good.

Great to be able to visit the Urban Meadow again after it was closed for a long time. Smooth, great tasting coffee and wide selection of cakes. Being in Rodney Road you are just far enough away from the main shopping area that you can sit and watch the world go by in a relaxing quiet atmosphere.

very disappointed. Previously had visited in November 2020 and as I was back in Cheltenham for work decided to visit again. The place used to be really well staffed and all the staff were lovely but all the staff I remember working last year weren’t there which was a shame. Saw on Instagram that they had a ‘staff shortage’ which I’m surprised at they seemed to have lots of staff last year. Not sure what happened if all the staff left but the one staff member working seemed stressed and was quite abrupt… maybe they need to hire new staff. Food was quite disappointing - much of the menu items available when I visited previously were not available this visit which was a real shame. The food was very mediocre, same sort of thing I could make at home in two minutes which was sad. Overall I’m just really disappointed. I understand COVID has effected many businesses, especially hospitality business but this cafe has gone downhill massively. A lack of staff, lack of menu items and really lots the positive atmosphere it once had. Really really sad as I was so impressed when i visited last year. Real shame. I hope they are able to employ new staff and get this place running like it once was.

The perfect little escape from the busy main streets of Cheltenham. Such a lovely place to visit with kids and friends! Their bagels, cakes, smoothies and coffees are amazing and if you have kids who are fussy eaters you can build their lunch with side options (so much easier then ordering one big meal and them not eating it all!), the cafe is very accommodating. Another plus is that they are vegan, gluten free and dog friendly!! I can't recommend this place enough!!

Popped in for lunch on a sunny day. Perfect location in the middle of town but not too busy or noisy. Honestly one of the best bagels I've had in a long while and so happy it was vegetarian friendly. Welcoming staff, fantastic service.

What a lovely place! So glad to have stumbled upon this cafe while visiting Cheltenham for the day. The bagels were amazing, especially the teriyaki tofu one which was vegan. There is also a lovely choice of smoothies on the menu. Definitely worth a visit 😊🌱

Superb menu of a variety of bagels - we had the Jerk Chicken and the Halkidi but will be back to make our way through the menu! Great to takeaway in current climate and walk upto the beer gardens to enjoy.

I almost don't want to review the Urban Meadow as it's on the small side and I selfishly don't want it to get too busy! But it's only right to give a shout out to this lovely cafe. I've been twice and both times was blown away by the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food. Everything we've had has been fresh and delicious. And you can't beat the prices, especially given the generous size of the portions! Can't wait to go again!

Just had a lovely brunch this morning with my hubby, 1 year old and little dog. We had such a warm welcome and love the new look! There's a good choice on the menu, I went for the honeycomb pancakes... Oh my gosh they were amazing!! Some of the best pancakes I've ever had! My hubby went for the sharing platter of chilli, guacamole, a beetroot dip, selection of breads and cheeses, which was delicious! I felt the quality and the portion size we're very good value for money and I can't wait to try the other things on the menu. There was a slight wait for the food but I understand why when you saw and tasted the quality of the food, definitely worth it. I'd highly recommended this lovely cafe, can't wait to go back!

Very good still, even though it lost the number3 brand. Same chef, same team, just no Phil. New menus, theme nights and a great wine list. Beer/ale selection can be a little up and down, but they always have 3-4 to pick from Great beer garden too

The cafe/restaurant has a lovely menu, very nice staff and nice decor/chairs/environment. We ordered a coronation chicken sandwich and two drinks - lemon presse and fresh orange juice. The sandwich was actually a roll and the contents contained very little chicken. The menu does mention chutney and mayonnaise but chicken breast is the first ingredient mentioned. The filling was more like a pickle with tiny dots of chicken. And it was quite definitely not a sandwich. The lemon presse was a lemon juice with water on the side which would have been ok but it was £3.50 from memory. My orange juice was lovely. So very mixed and quite expensive for what it was - there's a difference between an £8 or £9 sandwich and roll. I accept cafes need to make a profit, but customers also need reasonable value for money and to be presented with something resembling what they ordered.
