The 'Lamburghini' burger was delicious. Someone at my gym is obsessed with their burgers so I had to try. 100% finger licking good!

Can't even get a simple order correct rung up spoke to one person he said they were happy 3 through the food for us of which I went to collect when I got there I was then made to feel by another member of staff like it was an episode of crime watch; this was wild the other lady had gone on her break who offered to sorted out for me instead I was left talking on the phone to what only could be described as an absolute Jobs worth don't bother going here if you like your older correct we've had two issues with the place now and both times they're unwilling to sort a. Resolution

Excellent, food, service and atmosphere. There are some good burger joints in Chelt, but this is the one. Get in and enjoy!

Elite burger! The Santo Maradona burger special is a thing of beauty (don't worry it's a permanent special). I recommend having smashed patties, although I'm sure normal ones would have very enjoyable too. The pulled beef was pouring out because of how much was piled on. The flavours were incredible and I love how messy it was to eat! The bun was super soft but held together despite the amount of juices coming out of the meats. A good amount of chimichurri and perfect thick crinkled gherkins too! I couldn't fault a thing about it. I also had the loaded sweet potato fries. Lots of fries packed into the dish so a bigger portion then it looked at first sight! Again there was lots of pulled pork covering them and a good serving of chipotle mayo. The pulled pork was lukewarm though for some reason. Fine enough to eat but food should always come at least slightly too hot if anything really. The same could be said for the pulled beef in my burger as well. However, none of that stopped me from enjoying every last morsel of the delightful food in front of me! The place itself has a nice vibe and is a good size. My server was really nice and efficient too. Definitely somewhere I hope to get to again!

Unbelievable burgers! This place is amazing, probably one of the best burgers I’ve had and was very pleased to hear the milkshakes could be made with milk alternatives because that always seems to be hard to find! I had the smokey bacon & cheese smashed burger with sweet potato fries (which were so crispy & yum) and my boyfriend had the Escobar with spicy cheesy fries. They also had alcohol free beers on the menu. We went on a Tuesday evening and it was pretty quiet but the tunes were fab, pretty much every other song was Taylor Swift so this was my happy place!!

Good quality food and we enjoyed our meals but was expecting a little more. However, the drink prices are ludicrous. £4.00 for a 330ml bottle of coke and £7.50 for a pint of lager is criminal. I sadly don't think we would return.

All food is stunning quality, Milkshakes are delightful, flavour is great and texture perfect as well! Star of the show was the cheesey fries were the best i've had in the UK, near American quality. Will be coming back just for the cheesey chips

Great place. Love the burgers - reasonable price and great flavour! I got the piggie in the middle - the pulled pork was delicious. The food arrived promptly. Sadly the place smelled slightly of sewage while we were there however. I hope this is solved soon.

Ordered the loaded skin on fries and a clucker burger. Burger bun was falling apart it was so soggy, with way to much sauce and wetness. The fries looked like a pot of curry. Picture to follow

My wife and I got different burgers, wings and fries. Top notch. Got to be one of the best in Chelt.

We grabbed shakes, just shakes. Kinda pricey for shakes but worth every penny. Kids loved them, I loved them. I also had the remainder of wife’s and one child’s. Yum.

Been here twice. Ate in the first time and was lovely food but second time got it as a takeaway. They left my chips out and the burger was slapped together, had no taste and was overall was a waste of money as it is not a cheap burger either.

Took my two teens for burgers and they both loved.... my daughter is obsessed by the milk shakes. Will return!

FOOD POISONING! My husband and I decided to stop by for lunch and we each had the holee cow burger. We both noticed a strange and unpleasant taste whilst eating the burger which we couldn't put of finger on. That evening I didn't feel very well and didn't have an evening meal, so the burger was the only thing I had eaten all day. During the night my husband and I were awake being sick! Clearly we both had food poisoning from a rancid burger. Not something you expect to get from a restaurant! Utterly disgusting and I will be looking into reporting this to a food hygiene standards agency.

One of the best joints in Cheltenham without a doubt. Excellent food from the chefs and great service at front of house - especially from Abi, who is a ray of sunshine for all the customers ☀️

We always choose Holee Cow over Beefy Boys when visiting Cheltenham as the food is really tasty with much better service.

I'd had several takeaways from here before but yesterday was my first time dining in. I'm not usually one to leave a review but my experience was that good that it felt rude not to! I had the smokey bacon and cheese burger with skin-on fries and a side of Kim strips. The burger was superb, one of the best I've had and certainly better than Beefy Boys down the road! The fries were seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The Kim strips made an excellent addition too. To finish, I had a peanut butter and chocolate shake which left me in some sort of food coma. The service was really good and there was a feel-good atmosphere thanks to the music and the minimalist decor. Well done Holee Cow!

been here twice and each time was amazing. there really isn’t much to criticise; food is amazing, service is great, atmosphere comfortable. however, we tried the jerk bbq chicken tenders and they were on the dry side, less than warm, and lacking flavour. fortunately, due to the superb quality of the rest of our meal it was easy to overlook this. thanks guys :)

Sweet place! One of those veg burgers where you go "did they realise I asked for the vegetarian patty??" Delicious!

There's a no fuss basic interior with plain wood floors, tables, seating & wall finish. There's some corrugated sheet walling too & the basic materials give a certain feel that I personally liked. Our burgers were very much to our liking & nothing was left on the plates showing the meals for our group of four were all enjoyed. We also had the Company of three we'll behaved dogs that had a bowl of water delivered for them soon after we took our table. The staff & service was good & helpful. Certainly a venue that I'll look to revisit & one that I can recommend for a burger.

Went here for the first time in years as beefy boys was completely booked so we wanted to try something different. We were very disappointed. whilst the chips were fairly good, the burgers were tasteless and looked nothing like they do on the social media pages of the restaurant. I used to be a regular at holee cow a few years ago but its has seriously gone down hill in terms of quality. Beefy boys is worth paying higher prices for but this was not sadly.

Delicious burger EVERY time!! I usually order a takeaway from here but, this time, we decided to eat in. The service was great and there was a warm atmosphere - great playlist to sit and chill out for a little while, away from the busy high street but close enough to pop in to for a shopping break. The burgers are out of this world delicious - my favourite is the piggy in the middle one 😋 sweet potato fries and Cajun mayo are a great side to it too! They have a license, so you can enjoy a beer or a tipple, if you fancy. Or they have a very tempting milkshake menu to choose from.

Early doors a couple of weeks ago. Very pleasant staff and the food wasn't half bad either.

Simple food made perfect. Juicy and tasty burgers, all including a vege one were delicious. Loaded fries also great ( mabe a little too cheese.... Still yummy!!!) We had 5 soft drinks, 5 burgers, 2 loaded and 2 plain fries. £92. Filled us up nicely! Definitely recommend.

I had this place recommended by a friend of mine and I've finally get to try it and to be honest I wasn't impressed, the staff was really friendly but the meat in the Burger had a weird taste. I'll give a 3 star.

Ordered through phone the Escobar burger and the Smokey Bacon + Vegan cheese burger. The patties has been well overcooked. It was so dry that we had to stop and eat fries instead. We used to love this place.😏

Ordered a gluten free burger and fries. Waiting staff seemed flippant about allergens. Then, when the burger came, they brought it with a normal (wheat) bun!! I had to ask if it was gluten free (looked just like everyone else's normal burger buns), then, when they realised their mistake, they said they could just swap the bun with a gluten free one. No!!!!! I literally had to ask for them to make a fresh burger so it wouldn't be contaminated. Really ignorant staff! Otherwise, the burger was okay, fries were not particularly nice. Atmosphere was basic. Menu was also basic (and allergen information confusing and uninformative, plus it seemed like there were more vegan options than beef-based ones). Condiments were limited. Definitely wouldn't visit again.

Disappointing. They took well over half an hour to take our order on a quiet night during the literature festival. Burger was small and very average....not worth the premium price. We were offered free pud, but at that point we just wanted to pay the bill and leave. Shame as a few years earlier i had a nice burger at their old venu...oh well....just proves that success can mean standards suffer.

Despite arriving to a very busy, fully booked restaurant, an amazing waitress squeezed us onto a table on the basis that we would have to clear out in no more than 25 minutes which suited us fine as we were in a bit of a rush anyway. 10 minutes later we were stuffing our faces with awesome burgers and fries at an incredibly reasonable price. Can't fault a single thing, go there!

This place has zero atmosphere - like sitting in a portacabin! Staff members seem bored. Food is ok, not amazing though. There is also a serious lack of choice - particularly for vegans / vegetarians. Also no desserts - just milkshakes! What’s that about?! I would not go back again.

I wish I'd written this review 5 years ago. Five years ago I moved to Cheltenham and my then girlfriend took me to hollee cow. Mainstream burger restaurants had become the big thing but those local hotspts/treats were like a local feverish excitement and my first visit really delivered. We'd found a few places like this over the years, and it got to the stage a few years after trying a few other places I had a yurning to go back. I know there had been a change in local recent competition but what I had hoped for was the same taste temptation I previously had. What I got felt like was they'd given up. Special board had gone which once showed they believed in offering a renewed experience to the customer and the burgers were overcooked, oven-baked and chewy. The service was lovely but originally it felt like the service was invested in the business. It felt, that the belief they were offering something different to the customer was gone. Burger game needs stepping up ASAP. I hope they find their identity soon again or worried with the local competition and lack of customers it'll be the end

I always love going to Holee Cow - the staff are friendly and the burgers are great. I particularly love the Kim Jong Un burger. The portion sizes are just right - not massive but not small either. The perfect burger place.

Upon arrival I received a very warm welcome which was much appreciated. Lunchtime so the place was mostly empty. I had the standard single patty burger which was decent (I think you probably need to double it up) although the burger might have been a smidgen overcooked (I said I was fine with it being pink but it was cooked through). Sweet potato fries were very good although slightly over salted. So overall not quite as good as I hoped but I would definitely come back. One last thing - mind your head when going downstairs.

We went for lunch on a quiet Bank holiday. The burgers and chips we had were very tasty. There's a good selection of soft drinks and interesting beers, Service was polite and attentive. We were asked if we were ok with the burgers being pink, we wanted them not pink but just done and they turned up as requested and not overcooked, so still nice and juicy.

The food was amazing. I think this was the best burger I've ever had. The sides were equally as amazing. The restaurant itself is so cosy and the staff are very helpful.

Really great food, loaded fries were the best we’ve ever had. Service was good too. Booked online on the day, really straight forward to do. Total bill for 4 hungry adults and a child with a good tip was £100 so not cheap but certainly worth the money. We will return

Excellent hamburger, ambient, and service. Restrooms were impecable, definitely a plus and speaks well about this one. Nothing compared what you’ll find across London. Kim jonguns wings were not that great but OK.

The staff was very friendly and the food was great. Kids loved their macaroni cheese bites. The burgers are worth trying.

I had a take away from here last night 28/10 and it was beautiful, juicy burgers and amazing tasty fries , it is pricy but I don’t care when it’s that good! The girl behind the counter however needs some lessons in customer service , she was extremely unfriendly and made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome, I’m a huge believer in friendly service and this has somewhat marred my visit . I will however be returning because the food is superb !

My favourite place for an amazingly yummy burger, i ordered the Kim Jong Un which was incredibly tasty and full of flavour. The meat here is very good quality which I appreciate, I highly recommend this restaurant, i will be visiting again.

We stumbled upon this great little venue today and had such a lovely lunch. The service was so personable and the food was delicious and served quickly (always a good thing when dining with hungry little people) . I’m already planning a return visit and as I said to my lovely waiter I think the burger was probably the best I’ve ever had! Ten out of ten for service and food. Great job!

We been there with my family to celebrate my daughter birthday and we had a very good service from Ryan&Abbie , the food was Amazing , full of flavour all dishes . We will be back soon.

Tried this place off the back of some good reviews and we weren't disappointed. If burgers are your thing this place is a must. Great choice of homemade burgers including, chicken and lamb. Great loaded fries. On a par with Byron or other high end...

Extremely nice staff- offered us a table and service within the hour before a reservation needed it back which they didn’t have to do. In particular the younger bar lad with glasses (apologies I didn’t get a name). Very good burgers and doesn’t leave you with that lethargic guilt afterwards-not too greasy or salty.

Literally holee cow! The burgers here are huge. This place knows how to do burgers! Amazing flavours and portion sizes, great choice of burgers to choose from including vegan options. Service was also very fast and attentive. Overall great place to try out if you love your burgers! I would highly recommend trying them out. Thank you.

Really amazing food, however delivery service online terrible, not sure why only have holee cowless on Deliveroo now. Was unable to place delivery order due to their payment system, happened to me several times, they either need to get back on Deliveroo or implement PayPal on their website.

Their burgers are awesome and taste amazing, the cheese and bacon fries are next level amazing 👏

The burger was nice. The portion of chips was expensive for the size of the portion. I felt that the soft drinks were overpriced. The staff forgot to bring the children's drinks until we reminded them.
