We wanted to find a nice local place in Cheltenham for lunch. We found this place on Google Maps and read some good reviews. We arrived at 2pm to find the place very busy, mostly couples, enjoying various stages of lunch or coffee. We were immediately invited by the welcoming manager to take a vacant table in the window. She was clearly very busy but immediately took a moment to welcome us. She asked one of her staff to get our drinks order right away, which was really nice. The follow up service for food was again prompt, polite, welcoming and efficient. This place is expertly run by a team who really value customer satisfaction and must pride themselves on thier service. All round excellence - so rare these days! We'll be back for sure. On top of everything - we love Frida Kahlo, so even the simple cutlery tin was a delight!

We visited for brunch on 2nd January. Lovely cafe with a lovely welcome. My son ordered the Woodcraft breakfast, my husband ordered Huevos Benedictos and I ordered the smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs. We all had tea and orange juice. The brunch was delightful, delicious and generous ... the perfect size for my husband and son. The service was fantastic too and the ambience perfect. Thank you.

The cafe/restaurant has a lovely menu, very nice staff and nice decor/chairs/environment. We ordered a coronation chicken sandwich and two drinks - lemon presse and fresh orange juice. The sandwich was actually a roll and the contents contained very little chicken. The menu does mention chutney and mayonnaise but chicken breast is the first ingredient mentioned. The filling was more like a pickle with tiny dots of chicken. And it was quite definitely not a sandwich. The lemon presse was a lemon juice with water on the side which would have been ok but it was Ā£3.50 from memory. My orange juice was lovely. So very mixed and quite expensive for what it was - there's a difference between an Ā£8 or Ā£9 sandwich and roll. I accept cafes need to make a profit, but customers also need reasonable value for money and to be presented with something resembling what they ordered.

Delightful ambience and helpful staff, but more specifically the BEST mocha with oat milk Iāve ever had. Thick, creamy, delicious. Highly recommended.

Held my Xmas party booking, due to covid, till tonight..Feb 22nd..amazing night and made many NHS workers happy. Scott is a top bloke and the beehive is a great pub and 100% recommended to anyone. Certainly made my team very happy tonight. Xmas pudding and Xmas crackers in February isnt too bad at all. Thank you all at the beehive

Sadly a really poor experience in a coffee shop that has no idea of health and safety let alone customer service. As for a coconut mocha as my wife is intolorent to normal milk, no apology nor awareness this could have been a danger to someone only that's an extra 40p you must pay. The staff making the food wear no protective clothing especially the males with long hair. Not a place I would recommend.

Smiley āŗļø faces all round in terms of quality of ingredients and value for money. Little bit slow on the old service front but they were incredibly busy and did offer a sincere apology so now I feel dreadful for bringing the matter up.

Such a cozy atmosphere! Came here with coworkers to have a pint, get some food, and watch the euros game and it was a perfect place for all three. The starter platters were amazing and I would highly recommend getting a few for the table. I loved my fish and chips and I heard the other meals were good as well.

We were at Andi Oliverās book launch about her traditional cooking , there were 165 covers all being served at more or less the same time and you could tell as everything was overcooked or dried out , there was also a āserviceā charge added to our bottle of wine, the girl didnāt know how to do it withoutā¦ā¦they didnāt pour the wine so no actual āserviceā we were lucky enough to have a banquet seat but others were perched on barstools on small high tables !
