Fuimos al Ashville para celebrar un cumpleaños. Nos gustaría dejar una calificación de 5 estrellas porque no podíamos fallar. El servicio era justo a tiempo, la comida era excelente, el personal era encantador, el vino no era manejado por el molino, pero cuidadosamente seleccionado para satisfacer nuestra orden por el propietario. Somos una tienda por la carretera desde este café y ha sido muy extrañaremos mucho ya que cierre en 7-10 de noviembre. Los rellenos siempre eran extremadamente generoso, el personal muy amable y servicial (entrega gratuito, etc. ), el servicio rápido y los precios muy razonables. Espero que el propietario pone nuevamente en algún lugar localmente como ahora hay un vacío que necesiten una tienda para almorzar de bocadillo aquí. Best fish and chips I’ve had in Bristol. Ordered the cod and chips meal deal with a side and he comped the curry sauce. Really crispy batter and good chips.

We ordered from here via just eat last night, and whilst the delivery time was shorter than expected, that’s where the positives end. Chips tasted reheated and cold - there is no chance they were made to order and must have been sat around for a while. Haddock not very crispy and just a bit sad. Mushy peas were sloppy and had no seasoning and absolutely no flavour. We had to recook most of it to make it edible. A disappointing chippy tea dinner :(

Asked for a 'Crisg David' shot (vodka and pineapple juice). The pineapple was rancid, the bar confirmed it was off and threw it away and then refused to refund the drinks. How many times do I need to throw up to get a refund?

Great tasting food. The owners were very welcoming.

Nice venue, we love the space and the ambience (even if a bit tired), the staff were friendly and they had great beer. The only food on the menu was pizza. There are now some great pizza restaurants in Bristol but this was not one of them. In all honestly this was the worst pizza I have had in years. Dry, flavourless, like eating cardboard: I only ate the few slices I did because I was starving. Do go for the ambience and the beer but if you want to eat go elsewhere.
