We ordered from here via just eat last night, and whilst the delivery time was shorter than expected, that’s where the positives end. Chips tasted reheated and cold - there is no chance they were made to order and must have been sat around for a while. Haddock not very crispy and just a bit sad. Mushy peas were sloppy and had no seasoning and absolutely no flavour. We had to recook most of it to make it edible. A disappointing chippy tea dinner :(

I ordered from this restaurant on deliveroo and waited over 2 hours only to be told that not even deliveroo could get through to them on the phone I had to cancel it in the end and order a McDonald's,I can't tell you what the foods like because I never received any,was really frustrating as it was our new years treat as a family and now I have hungry frustrated kids and I don't even want anything now I'm so annoyed

This was my first delivery order of fish n chips from Sea Pearl and order was on time. Great fish portions and excellent service. Highly recommended. Chips great and will use them again and free delivery to my postcode.

Ordered a cod and chips (took one bite was was spat out, a really fishy fish) 2x battered sausage and chips (no battered sausage in sight) and 2 curry sauces (1 arrived). Food was cold, missing items and when I rang to ask for these missing items the guy put the phone down. I tried calling back many times but the phone must have been turned off (was around 9:23 and it shut at 9:30). Embarrassing ‘fish and chip’ shop with shocking customer service. DO NOT USE THESE.

We have been coming to this restaurant for nearly 10 years and have marvelled at the incredible high standards of cooking fish and chips every time we have visited over the years. I am sure you will be pleased and delighted with the fish and chips either in the restaurant or takeaway.

We ordered 3 cod, large chips, tartare sauce and a batterd sausage just as the shop opened via there website ordering service as have done in the past. However after an hour considering we were D1 (delivery order 1) that usually takes 15/20 minutes max previously as we don't live far it didn't show. Phoned the shop I was told it was sent out not long after they received it.. was told they would contact the delivery driver and ask where it was, and waited for a phonecall.. this was now 6pm after orginally ordering at 5pm At 7pm.. TWO HOURS LATER and still no sign of our food I had to phone again to enquire just what is going on, and was told they didn't receive the order in the first place? Then "oh hang on we're really sorry it was still on our system and not processed" so was it orginially sent out or not?? no offer of a discount or anything for waiting 2 hours and still no food and such a poor service and communication so decided to take our custom elsewhere and haven't looked back since. Shocking.

We have been enjoying the fish & chips from the Sea Pearl for the past 9 years. What has been incredible is the Quality of food and service has always been extremely good. Prices have risen on this visit, which is expected. We were disappointed to hear we could only have regular cod. This situation I presume is because of the current predicament within the UK fishing industry. Looking forward to our next visit.

What a wonderful fresh cod fish to be had. Cooked to perfection in a crisp golden batter. The chips complimented the sit in meal with generous proportions.

We sat down to great Haddock and Chips with mushy peas, bread and butter with two mugs of tea on a very cold day! We have been regular customers for 8 years and have been amazed at the high standard of great quality fish and chips. The service has always been friendly and efficient. You will not be disappointed if you visit this restaurant!

Only got half of our order. We ordered two chips and two mushy peas. Got one of each. Phoned up, the guy was seriously rude and said it wasn’t their fault, he then hung up on me. Pretty terrible. The portion of chips was tiny. The mushy peas half full. We had to share one portion between us and make more food. Don’t bother with this place

Table for 10 at lunch time on a Saturday without any notice - no problem for the lovely guys at Sea pearl. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the bill was modest. Loved it and we will be back. Thank you!!

We have had some good food in the past but our recent experience has not been pleasant. The chips seemed to consist of all the small end bits that were greasy. It's put me off. On plus side - food arrived hot (Home Delivery ) It would be helpful if the menu clearly labelled that the chips were NOT included with fish.

We've ordered twice now for delivery to a local business, both times everyone has been very pleased with the food, the order was correct and on time. I spoke to staff on the phone who were polite and helpful, the delivery drivers were so friendly and the online ordering is very easy. Our orders have included cod, sausages, burgers, pies, nuggets and halloumi and it was all very tasty. Cant fault anything, we'll definitely be ordering again!

Usually I regularly go to sea Pearl to order the food as it’s consistently good however today was such a huge disappointment. Ordered a large portion of chips and there were hardly any there and they weren’t edible at all. They tasted hard and looked like they’d been reheated. The fish was ok and the burger was good but overall experience was worse than average. Definitely not value for money. Sorry Sea Pearl.
