One of my favourite go to café. Lots of place to sit in and I love their selection of songs. Perfect place to get the true café vibe for getting your work done. Very friendly staffs as well. They are also selling maritozzi these days so that's a yayy 😁 Also, if you're a student please download their app, add your credit/debit card to pay using their app itself, and verify your student identity using your university email to avail 15% discount every time you buy anything from them.

I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience today. I am a regular customer of this cafe Nero, and until now I have had nothing bad to say. On the whole, I would say this is one of my favourite cafes to visit, however I will be waiting a while before I return. I went this morning as a treat to myself, as I really wanted an iced velvet Americano. As I watched my barista make it, I saw that a significant amount of water was poured in at the start. I didn't mention anything, as I thought this might be normal and I should trust the process. However, the cup was filled to the top with ice before the blended water mix was poured in, and half of the coffee mixture was left out. Therefore, my drink was 90% water and tasted horrendous. It was as if I had had an iced coffee and allowed all of the ice to melt, but that was the taste from the start. Having had this drink many times before, I know that this is not what it is supposed to taste like and I am extremely upset with the quality of my service today. It was very quiet and I was the only person in the queue, so there should be no excuse for the way my drink was made. I would like to highlight, this is not the usual standard I receive at this cafe but today I have been underwhelmed.

It is a reasonable sized cafe. The food was prompt as were the drinks which is excellent when it was busy on the university open day. However as a pointer the sign in the toilet came across as rude and the staff could have been a bit more friendly

Hands down the best coffee place. It's exquisite and has a lot on offer. They got offers for students round the year and also for MyWaitrose card members. A good collection of coffee, breakfast items and dessert.

Honestly some of the nicest staff I’ve met in a coffee shop, made me a another coffee after I spilt mine by accident! The coffee and food are also stellar, so would definitely recommend a visit.

The coffee is really good everytime and I am here quite often .:) I can definitely recommend the Walnut Bana Loof Cake and Blueberry Muffin.

The lady I find in early morning is very kind . I appreciate the place too. The only thing that disappointed me is that the WIFI is weak . Please to solve the Wifi issue.

Good size cafe Nero in the city centre of Bristol. Indoor and outdoor seating area. Plenty of seating spaces indoor. The coffee shop is fully stocked and plenty of options to drink and eat from. During the visit the place was not very busy and it was easy to find seating. Over all better than normal Nero coffee shops and I would be back if I visited the area. Visit was done during the evening hours so it could explain why it was slightly quiet.

I go in here almost everyday. I've had a traumatic leg injury recently which has limited how far I can walk and this place has been perfect for getting my black coffee and some food. Staff are always pleasant. Bigger than you realise inside; though often you can't get a seat because of students. But good/strong coffee and nice food!

Lovely staff (the students), except for the one ginger-y guy with a fake French accent who's rude to everyone all the time. Why are you constantly huffing, eyerolling and so condescending, if you’re so miserable, leave. Trust me you won’t be missed.

Opens at 6.30am so very handy for me - the staff are always friendly and efficient. The food and drinks are standard chain fare. The cafe feels well looked after.

I meet here for uni tutorials. Nice place, but sub standard hot chocolate.

I don't understand why the girl (i think she is the manager) behind the bar can't make a coffee without winking at me 10 times. You make people feel uncomfortable. Especially when you run off the bar to throw a piece of paper on to my table with your number on, I'm 18, leave me alone old lady

All the staff so cheerful and generous even on Christmas Eve! Good selection of vegan and gluten free options and no extra for plant based milk :) Usually gets very very busy with students, just a warning!

I came in at lunchtime today, the busiest time of the day and I am full of admiration for the way the team worked! Efficiently, expertly and with enthusiasm. I congratulate Megan and all the team on their polite and professional style. There’s a great verve in this place and I feel so comfortable here! Five stars!!!

One of my my favourite coffee shops. Great music, nice seats.

Such a nice barista, good atmosphere and not just the best coffee around (soya cappuccino is my current go to) but the pastries are the only ones I'll buy especially if warm and recently out of oven...bliss.

My first time at this chain. Had a very comfortable seating area and a proper place to stand in line for service. Wasn't impressed by the coffee though compared to similar competitors.

Standard Caffè Nero - good coffee and plenty of sweet and/or savoury stuff to choose from. Slightly spoiled by the lack of cups (only takeaway containers) and the leaking aircon unit dripping water into a tray behind us. The bucket was sent flying twice tipping water onto the floor but staff were too busy to properly deal with it ...

Coffee was nice, cafe is nice but service was extremely sub-par, weird and rude barista who was very condescending.

A large cafe close to the university. There are plenty of tables and comfortable chairs - where you may find students working. Everything is accessible and on the flat. The food is not very exciting but it is perfectly edible.

I received excellent service at this café yesterday, the barista was very friendly and the atmosphere was very nice across this branch. The coffee I got was also perfect! :)

Nice staff and lots of space but like Costa, Starbucks etc ridiculous prices e.g. £3.50 ish for a mug of hot chocolate topped with cream. I rarely go there these days. Branches vary but one in Hammersmith London would not open the ladies toilet even though the cafe was packed. This was one year ago ie Feb 2020. The man ( manager) was literally a big fat (middle aged) bully and was busy chatting up.a glamorous blonde customer while we all waited in the queue. I had bought food and drink but manager said i needed to buy stuff to use loo. Bristol Cabot Circus ok but I got put off due to a visit once where few customers but piles of dirty cups plates etc on most tables. I know it can get busy but... Some nice staff of course too

The coffee wasn't great, tasted a bit burnt maybe, it tasted quite harsh and kind of like a vending machine. Perhaps the milk wasn't steamed well. Ordered a flat white and a cappuccino to go.

My favourite place to study, read a book or have a catch up with a friend. The staff are amazing, I go there fairly regularly and so I've got to know a few of them and we always have a chat.

Nice coffee, rude staff - my little sister (11) said I think your toilet is broken and was met with a condescending answer from a bald man. He pointed us toward the “working” toilet which also wasn’t flushing. If you’re looking for a warm welcoming environment- avoid this place.

This is the worst cafe Nero I’ve ever been in, the front part of the cafe is filthy dirty . The staff are rude and just can’t be bothered. I definitely won’t use this Nero again.

Popped into the Caffè Nero in Bristol as their coffee is really good but also this is a great location just across the road from the university. Really friendly staff and loads of seating at the back and front of the shop. Also window seating to drink your coffee at and watch the world go by. Serves a selection of sandwiches, cakes etc and hot beverages

I agree with other reviews about the uncomfortable atmosphere. Staff seem like it's an inconvenicence to serve you and they would rather be somewhere else. Shame as the coffee is good.

5 stars to being coffee shops to open on Boxing Day for those of us who very much appreciate such at this time. And 5 stars to the polite helpful labouring young (ish)man who was serving one after another of us in good order efficiently and patiently. Thanks very much. Queens Rd near the Triangle, Bristol. I have also found Caffe Nero coffee shops to be generally of a very good patient staff who are on their feet being pressed in tough days for us all and them. Along with one or two others I seek out their places where I go about.

Unfortunately the service in this branch is just very bad. I don't know why, I've never come across it in any other branch of Caffe Nero. There are plenty of other cafes nearby where the staff don't treat you like they resent people actually daring to buy coffee from them, I would strongly recommend going to one of the other cafes. Avoid!

Visited twice during difficult Covid restrictions. Takeaway service only. Staff were helpful and efficient. It was good to have a comforting coffee to take back to where I was working.

This branch is not enforcing Cafe Nero's stated health policy that all at the counter should wear face masks. When asked about it, the Staff Member said I should "look after my own health" in an abusive manner. Cafe Nero is not taking responsibility for safety of staff, customers or wider public.

Me and my friend both ordered the fruit smoothies, they were too sweet and the raspberry and peach one tasted like vomit, the porridge was watery and looked vile but the taste was decent. Nice atmosphere but the food and drink was disappointing for how much they charged.

O2 priority Tuesdays and Wednesdays coffee perk has meant a Cafe Nero trip became a weekly ritual.

It's a very nice place to stop for a cup of coffee, or a bit of lunch on the go. I love their seeting arrangements. There is a radar key operated toilet for disabled people available.

It's cool, a bit more spacious than the norm, the staff are funny and and the customers Are more talky, a possibility for the need of a larger or longer service station/ serving bay, and sure would be happy for both parties ; -)

If you're in Bristol, there are so many other, better, independent places to go than here
