¡La pizza estilo Detroit es una revelación! Honestamente una de las mejores pizzas que he probado! Excelentes cócteles también, y a un precio razonable. Desafortunadamente no hay opción de pizza sin gluten, por lo que tendrá que encontrar un lugar diferente para traer a nuestros visitantes este fin de semana. El personal es absolutamente encantador. Veo que algunas de las críticas aquí están diciendo que el personal es grosero, pero esa no ha sido mi experiencia. Pero están sobrecargados de trabajo. Hay un problema con la falta de personal (ex camarera aquí) y eso significa tiempos de espera más largos y perjudica la experiencia del cliente, lo que perjudica al negocio. No es culpa del personal. Eso es gestión. Excelente tienda de vinos y quesos escondidos en la parte trasera también con personal muy bien informado.

Estuve esperando con mi bebé por una mesa durante aproximadamente 25 minutos, ninguno me reconoció en absoluto y luego 4 personas entraron literalmente paradas detrás de mí? Y la camarera fue directamente y los sentó, dije que disculpa que he estado esperando 25 minutos? Dijo que no te había visto. Un poco difícil de extrañarme con un cochecito y en la parte delantera del cartel de “por favor espere”. Desconcertante. Desafortunadamente, entonces solo establece un mal tono. Sin embargo, la comida era muy agradable, pero yo solo conseguiría pizza para llevar si volvía.

Encantador lugar frío para una taza y un aperitivo. Visitando Bristol, y se topó con ella. Gran selección de pasteles y bocados salados.

Personal increíblemente grosero y desdeñoso. Claramente molesto por que le pidan una bebida caliente del menú. Llevaré mi billetera donde sea bienvenida en el futuro.

El personal era encantador y amable y la comida era tan deliciosa! He estado aquí un par de veces y sin duda volveré : )

Visited just after 13:00 with family on my wife’s birthday 23/02. Food was pretty decent. Had a doorstop bacon sandwich and wife and father in law had cheese toasties. Way too much bread. I know it’s a bakery but no one wants a 3 inches of bread on a bacon sandwich. Several rounds of coffees and some puddings. Coffee were good. Everything else was very rich. Unfortunately service was poor on this occasion. Not rude, always polite, but very absent minded with an obvious lack of process. Needs a senior person managing the floor. Lots of staff on but they were more interested in interacting with themselves and their friends than keeping an eye on tables. Plus the lack of a uniform made it very hard to know who was working when they were spending so much time chatting to friends at tables. Several times we had to work had to get someone’s attention, I had to walk up to the chef to get my son’s order attended to which they stuffed up twice. Once bringing an egg sandwich with no egg. The second time bringing it runny when we asked for well done. Took 5 mins to get someone’s attention to ask for the bill, then left waiting for 10 mins. Ended up just walking over to the counter. Owners, you have nice staff but they need direction and pointers.

We had an absolutely divine chocolate brownie here, it was so dense and fudgy!! I would definitely go back for another of those!

I took my family along for a quick bite to each as I really rate the food. I was disappointed by the offhand service, on asking a quick question regarding the choice of takeaway options on the menu I was given a very abrupt response from the member of staff I approached. I have to say that there was one super friendly staff member but on the day we attended (a weekend) the rest of the team need some work on customer service skills.

The cafe is meant to be table service but after waiting 5 minutes of no one giving us their time of day we sat down ourselves and had to chase someone to serve us after we were still served once seated. There was no one on the floor the whole time we where there and again had to chase someone regarding payment. The croissant cake was inedible, it tasted stale and was dense and stodgy. After complaining, the waitress offered no apology, and was very unhelpful. Poor atmosphere, service and food. I would not waste your time here.

We had a fabulous breakfast, delicious food (t b h everything on the menu sounded lovely) and super friendly / efficient service. Will be back.

I love this place so much! The staff are so nice and remember us when we go in. Even when they're busy, the staff always manage to find us a table and the service is impeccable. The food is divine (my life has been changed by their sausage rolls!), they have amazing cakes and the best coffees with a good selection.

Very welcoming & friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Tea & coffee is average price, but cakes are expensive .

I had sourdough toast and oh joy! it came with a really generous portion of butter. So unusual. I can't say it's cheap and it isn't very quick either, but the service is delightful and the atmosphere is most enjoyable. It's a pleasure to be there.

I am unsure what it is with the younger generation nowadays but they really do not understand what good customer service is all about. The people serving here do not smile, the service is awful and they are bereft of personalities. Average coffee at high prices, much better cafe's elsewhere with a much better standard of service - I will not be back!!

Awful. Terrible customer service. Not told it was table service, no once came to check on us or ask if we wanted another drink. Staff completely ignored us, bumped into the back of our chairs and stood over us and passed things over our head. So rude.

I love this place. I call in most weekday mornings for coffee and sometimes a cake before starting work and on the odd occasion I call in for lunch. The staff are amazing really helpful and friendly. Food is great lots of vegan options and some amazing vegan cakes too!!!

Beautiful café with welcoming staff and lots of tasty treats. We very much enjoyed our vegan mushroom roll, coconut and pistachio cake, and coffee. The cafe is popular, relaxing and has a deli and wine shop as well. The girls working there were so lovely and really added to the experience. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent light brunch /lunch food. The Bacon Sandwich is terrific, with home-cured pork (and loads of it), on sourdough with fermented tomato sauce. Loads of fermented stuff on the menu by the way. Warm smell of bread (this is a bakery as well) in the atmosphere and the bakery product looked superb, as did the cakes (no room to eat them after that sandwich). The general ambience was warm and friendly and the decor is rather lovely, with stacks of trailing plants in troughs near the ceiling. Staff attentive, but not overbearing, and efficient. Had to wait a few minutes for the food, but given that it's made 'to order' and the place was absolutely full.... I'll be going back to try something else from the menu.

It used to be one of my favourites places to go to unwind and have a nice coffee and delicious food. But sadly, staff’s changed and it could take ages until they could serve you, the food offer is too limited and you hardly can find something to have if you get there after 3pm. Moreover, prices have gone through the roof, a coffee will cost you the same in Bedminster with Asda views as by Buckingham Palace. So sad to write this review to be honest but I can’t recommend this place anymore.

I go to the Bedminster Bristol Loaf as often as I can. I don't like everything but some of the dishes are truly outstanding. The chef has an incredible palate and he layers the dishes in a way that makes me think of high-end michelin chefs. At a fraction of the price. The recent autumn beetrot dish was a master class in matching robust flavours with delicate cooking - the softest beetroot with a mole sauce (chile and chocolate) and a green tomato salsa. The winter replacement of smoked celeriac with delicately pickled raddichio is an awesome creation of subtle flavours and textures. This chef truly gets acidity right which is something I rarely find in restaurants. And he knows when to hold back too. The buttermilk and pear pancakes are so light and delicate that they need to be eaten on a regular basis! Each dish has a number of elements for texture and complexity, not to mention the beauty on the plate. And the staff are really delightful, welcoming, friendly, helpful and smiling. It could do with blinds in the summer as it gets very hot but it's also a joy to enjoy the light-filled space. All credit to the manager who elegantly orchestrates such a wonderful experience.
