Their fish and chips with a srink cost £25 and are not worth it.

Wasn't here for long, had a pint and a bowl of chips. Very nice. Price was £11.60.

Love this place for its calming decor, great playlist, and oh my the brekkie brochie buns are fresh soft and oh so yummy. I had mine stuffed with mushrooms and a chilli jam. The staff are attentive and helpful, and the open kitchen is wonderful to see as you watch the chefs prepare your food. As a plus, they also have coconut milk, which in bristol for a choice of milk is hard to find elsewhere.

We had booked a table to eat, drink and watch football. We couldn't of asked for a better table. The food was absolutely amazing thank you to the team.

The worst smelling building I've ever been into - it must be called the old fishmarket for that exact reason! It stinks...the toilets are so bad, it makes you wretch going down the stairs to them. Could not have gotten out of there quicker

Not good options for dietary restrictions. Tables was sticky and only have 1 person behind the bar with a huge line of people waiting.

Concurrido pub agradable en el centro de la ciudad, servicio rápido y un gran ambiente, lo único que lo decepciona es que no sirven Guinness y sirven alguna excusa al azar para ello. Ahh y también los baños de caballeros están bajando unos escalones muy empinados, así que ten cuidado.

Nice traditional feeling pub, Really busy when we went, which I like personally, staff were ok but regardless of how busy the pub. They still go at the same pace and find time for a bit of a chat or check their phone. Not the end of the world but frustrating as a customer.

Whenever I walk into The Old Fishmarket I alway get a warm welcome and a great service The food is top notch, and love the very friendly atmosphere, especially on football/rugby match days

Possibly the best FnCs I have eaten in years!! Lovely (tasteful) holiday decorations and friendly servers made a rainy, windy December day warm amd cheery!

Don't come here if you want to watch any sport. They show it, but don't put the volume on. You'd have more fun buying a can from Tescos and sitting in a bus shelter watching SkyGo with your earbuds in.

Went on a Saturday afternoon. Weirdly smelled of fish on entering. There was a large stag party drinking & eating about half hour into our stay 2 of the stag party started fighting amongst themselves it was 4pm. I've been here a few times & never had any issues with trouble or fighting. They have a great selection of Fuller's beer & the food is top notch. Didn't eat this time & the fight didn't spoil our visit just a bit strange for the time of day. Would recommend

I just had something to drink. Beautifully rustic furniture, beautiful old but well-kept counter. Also a feast for the eyes from the outside. Nice staff.

Good atmosphere, very good service but very average fish and chips (frozen fries and tasteless fish). If you want something quick in a pub you're in the right place but it's not very good.

Thursday lunchtime, 5th September, in with a large group of friends. Our service was ok as far as it went, but..... Was very disappointed to see the two bar stiff ripping off an older man by conspiring together to pour the slops tray into a glass and top it up with some fresh froth from the pump - or is the way that your premium beer is dispensed these days? Female bar staff, one with glasses, the other slender. Retraining required, or is it now Fullers policy to rip off customers. Review your CCTV and see for yourself.

Went with popular recommendations, famous black pudding scotch egg to start and then traditional fish & chips, excellent. Fish was a really good size and super fresh.

Dropped in for a snack. Lovely sandwiches. The ESB was excellent. Staff were very friendly. A total gem.

Can't believe we stayed in Bristol for three nights and we had dinner in this same pub for three nights! We had fish and chips, grilled chicken, and some other chicken, all the staff are different every night but they are all so friendly. The pub is like a museum itself. Love this place!

På besök i Bristol så besökte vi puben för en måltid. Fisken var bra panerad med en tunn yta och smakade mycket bra. Trevlig personal och service. Något dyrt! Det fanns även bord utomhus för en öl!

Nice pub, good location, friendly staff. But if you’re already paying nearly £20 for a fairly standard pub burger and chips (burger decent, chips nice but definitely frozen/pre prept rather than fresh) charging an extra £2.50 for literally 3 onion rings is ludicrous, reeks of profiteering. (And they didn’t give Tom his coleslaw)

Fui con unos amigos a cenar cerca de la hora de cierre de cocina (a las 21:30 creo), y nos permitieron pedir. Yo tomé el pollo Goan Kashmiri, y me gustó. Los platos principales en general están entre las 14 y las 18 libras. El pub en sí está chulo.

I ordered wings, but they were sour that they were hard to eat, and they were spicy and salty… I don’t know anything else, but I don’t recommend wings… .

Pub is absolutely fine, but the prices are just ridiculous. £24.05 for two pints and a double vodka coke. Plenty of better places in Bristol where the prices are reasonable.

Had a nice touch of lunch of scampi and chips. Was served by a nice guy and the atmosphere was great for a Tuesday lunchtime.

One of my favourite pubs in Bristol and has been for years. Nowhere’s perfect but this place is generally reliable and I always feel like they care, which is hugely important.

Try the scotch eggs. One day a week (Sunday, I think) there is live music.

I've can not comment on the food as I've not tried it but it always looks good and well presented. For makes the place is the beer. As someone who loves a Pint of Pride, having a fullers pub in Bristol is an absolute gem. Also, show the sports on the big screen so a win/win from me

A solid pub with plenty of seats inside so it is a good place when meeting up with quite a few people. They show the sport here. Staff are friendly and there is a good selection of drinks.

Highlight of my short layover in Bristol. Fish & Chips was hot, flaky and light. I’ll be thinking about this meal and wishing I could eat it again. Atmosphere was fun too, lively, cozy and not too loud. Candles add a lovely touch.

The bar had amazing atmosphere with sport being shown in all area's of the bar and lounge. Friendly bar staff and customers drinks were served with very friendly chat and no fuss.when meals ordered a friendly chat about any food allergies and requirements. Well worth the money and another vist already planed.

Lovely atmosphere with candle lit tables. Half a pint of lemonade is the same price as Guinness so beware!

Not a bad pub in the centre, just off of Baldwin St. Quite an authentic interior styling. Nice atmosphere. Very busy as not a massive establishment. Nice long bar with many drinks options. Most notably Guinness, Amstel, Peroni, and Fullers. Drinks are quite expensive. Guinness was nice but not great value for money (for pour and taste) at around £6. Both Amstel and Peroni's were very good; crisp and fresh. Had to wait around for a table but found a cosy table in the far corner with live sports/football. Food smelt great. Bit of a trek to the underground toilets. Was a decent stop for a drink for the walk between Temple Meads and Ashton Gate.

Nice pub but ridiculous prices - £18.60 for 1 beer , 1 small prosecco and 2 bags of crisps . Rip off . Next round was £16.75 for 1 beer and 1 Prosecco. Went to a different bar later and paid £18.60 for 2 beers , an Aperol Spritz and a bottle of cider which seemed more realistic

We stopped in for drinks. Limited craft beer options so we both had G&Ts. We sat in big leather chairs next to a non-functioning fireplace. The is a nice pub to relax in after walking all day. Toilets were clean.

Popped in here for Christmas drinks with work colleagues. Has a great selection of drinks, similar prices as other drinking holes. Nice long bar to get served at. Various board games available to play, if you want.
