Popped in for a glass of champagne. 3 glasses (half a bottle) £99.00!!!! Unecessarily overpriced and unexpected. Could have purchased a bottle for less. A glass and a half each for £49.50 per person ... I feel robbed. Very disappointing. Cheaper at Rick Stein! Won't return if this is how their pricing is pitched.

I've been to tastebuds a few times and always been happy with my meal and service but was extremely disappointed today when I went for a jacket potato with vegetarian chilli con carne and cheese. First I had no cheese so had to ask then when I had tasted realised it had meat. I handed back the jacket potato really disappointed and with myself as been vegetarian for years and just eaten meat. The manager came to me without an apology and said I can have a different jacket potato or my money back . Also tried to say I needed to ask for vegetarian optionwhich I did!! I did choose another jacket potato because of the lunch situation I was in but will not return. People with allergies should be very careful.

Had a superb meal with friends celebrating our golden wedding anniversary. Excellent food excellent service.

Great cafe best food we had in Bournemouth. The fried breakfast is quality and so well cooked, lovely iingredients too. great staff too give it a try

Billy bunter good for the whole day

Love this place. Just hidden around back of the high street , this cafe certainly offers the best fresh cooked food . Great feel to it with the history and staff are so polite and friendly I can't fault anything it's what most town's should have , no franchise chain . Prices are really worth what you get. Thanks guys always great to see you .

Lovely Café, very tasty food and friendly staff. If in Pokesdown, Boscombe or Southbourne try it!

A traditional cafe with good food and a welcoming atmosphere

The best Sunday lunch. Fabulous host, service and atmosphere.

I think the service was poor as it took roughly 30 minutes to get our food after ordering, we ordered only 2 paninis yet it took half an hour for them to give it to us. The food wasn’t terrible but it was quite squashed and plain it was a small amount for £10-£20.

We come here regularly for drinks and the atmosphere is great! Had dinner there on Monday and was very positively impressed with the gluten free menu (including desserts) and the fantastic service received! Will definitely come back for food more often!

Great service and friendly staff, good chose of Ales and great menu and sky sports what more could you ask for.
