As always Bates restaurant did not disappoint. The menu was varied and catered for all palates. The food was amazing, well cooked, well presented, hot and delicious. The service was excellent, friendly and efficient. I would recommend this restaurant for all types from ‘fussy’ eaters to fine diners. We will definitely be visiting again.

Tuvimos un encantador desayuno inglés aquí hoy, el lugar realmente está bien decorado y se siente muy acogedor, la comida es buena y de origen local y los propietarios eran encantadores, buena relación calidad-precio y un excelente comienzo del día.

Went out with a few mates to the Bournemouth Steak House. Honestly, didn’t expect to be blown away but I was. I got the fillet steak and... wow. Cooked exactly how I asked, super tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Like, you could cut it with a spoon kinda soft. If you’re a steak person (or even if you’re not), this place will probably ruin all other steaks for you. 10/10 would recommend.

Delicious food for a good price with free tea or coffee for students! Service is always brilliant too, super friendly. Love the vegetarian options!!

A little gem! Myself and family enjoyed breakfast here while visiting the area for an event. I am vegan and had the Vegan breakfast. This breakfast had no "fake" meats which was extremely refreshing. Everything was cooked and prepared to perfection and it was the most delicious vegan breakfast I've ever had! The rest of my family loved their meals too - and all noted how perfectly the eggs were cooked. Highly recommend! No photos as we ate it all so quickly.

Amazing quality large portion best cheese n mushroom omelette I've had with loads of freshly fried chips ooh and a salad . Great pot of English breakfast tea to accompany... Was just over a tenner , beautiful surroundings genuinely friendly people that care about what they produce on a plate for you . Can't wait to pay them a return visit. I'm a hungry large person this did the trick

We were here for the filming of a Chris Payn pop video. The breakfasts looked delicious, but we're used as props, so we couldn't eat them! We had a fantastic time. Great venue.

Claire was lovely, 10/10 cocktails, would come again because of her service. The zombie and the woo woos were great and would buy again and good value for money
