No se puede superar la comida y el servicio dado por Debbie y Kev en Schooners Café. La comida es de alta calidad, no grasosa, muy bien presentada y siempre cocinada a la perfección. El servicio al cliente es increíble. Debbie es tan amable, atento, cálido y amable. ❤️ Si pudiéramos dar más estrellas, lo haríamos. Visitamos aquí cada viaje a Southbourne / Christchurch. ¡Increíble! X

Muy buen desayuno. Salchicha y tocino es de primera calidad. Todo está muy bien cocinado. Visitamos cada año al final de nuestras vacaciones y nunca decepciona. Debbie siempre se alegra de vernos de nuevo, siempre amable y hablador. Sin duda volveremos el año que viene.

Alojarse en la zona. Vino a desayunar. Gran servicio amable e ingredientes de primera calidad. Muy recomendable.

Este fue un almuerzo muy especial, ya que hemos vivido en Southbourne durante más de 20 años y hemos disfrutado de muchas comidas aquí, pero hemos vendido la casa y nos mudamos a Christchurch! El almuerzo del domingo es siempre fabuloso y todo el personal es encantador y muy amable. La carne de res y el pollo son tan tiernos y las verduras frescas muy bien cocidas. Sin olvidar los pudines calientes y deliciosos.

Fantastic breakfast! Debbie was so kind and caring towards my ASD/ADHD son and nothing was too much trouble she knew the score! The food was superb!

The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was freshly cooked and piping hot. Good value for money.

We have been lots of times for breakfast and we have always received good food, nice service and fab milkshakes. Very close to the beach.

Superb food, freshly cooked to order with quality ingredients in a friendly atmosphere. Dog (very) friendly....they get treats. Amazing value for money. Always a warm greeting and kind, attentive service.

Had a family lunch. Was lovely - Tuna Melt Panini, Ham and cheese panini and Avocado breakfast with grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and a poached egg. All excellent and great service too. Would recommend a visit.

What a beautiful Sunday lunch we have just had delivered to us. This is our 3rd lunch from this lovely little business and each has been hot, plentiful and of superb quality. These little businesses are in need of our support, be sure to order from here and help the survival of this community asset.

I came across this lovely charming restaurant by accident, but I'm so glad I did. This restaurant may be smaller than others but it certainly accommodates quite a few people and is home from home with the personal touch. I found it very welcoming,warm and excellent service and fantastic food. It is run by a family which are so friendly you wouldn't want to leave. I now go there every week and they always go out of there way to make me very welcome. I highly recommend this lovely place to visit as you wont be disappointed I promise. Karen. 👍🐕

Stopped off for breakfast before going home from holiday. The bacon and sausages were top quality, the fresh mushrooms were really beautifully cooked as was the black pudding. Even the toast was made from a lovely crusty bread. Every element of the meal was perfectly cooked. I couldn’t fault it. Will definitely be back!

I nearly didn't visit The Schooner in Southborne, if it wasn't for my stomach saying I needed to find the nearest restaurant (it was 1.30pm). I wondered into the nearest town (Southborne) and discovered The (dog friendly) Schooner. I wasn't quite expecting the menu, but there was a choice of roasts, fish dishes, pies, paninis and even full english up until 2pm and many other choices. I chose the roast chicken, with roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots, stuffing, gravy and cranberry - a good ol' roast dinner. It was a very hearty meal and really set me up for the rest of the day. There were also home made cakes, desserts and a pear and cherry crumble. Sadly I was so full from the roast that I didn't get to try the crumble which saved me a fiver (every cloud....!). The roast and a a ginger beer came to £10. The Schooner closed but I stayed and chatted to the owner Debbie & Kev. Very friendly people and we chatted for nearly an hour after my meal finished. They have been running The Schooner for 20 years - which says a lot! I wish them all the best for the future and I highly recommend you go and say hi to them (and eat their freshly prepared local food) :)

If you want good honest home cooking at good honest prices then a visit to The Schooner is a must. This small family run business oozes with warmth and friendliness with excellent home cooked food. Sadly a lot of smaller family run businesses are harder to find with the bigger chains taking over. Support your local traders and visit the Schooner, situated by Southbourne beach. Kevin is also an artisan cake maker, and will make your special cake to order. Thank you Deb, Kev and Emma, for a fabulous Sunday Roast as mum used to cook. We will be back!! ☺️👍

Popped in for a late breakfast and please to see that they serve breakfast until 2pm. Very nice full English breakfast - helpful service, managed to even rustle up French mustard and mayonnaise for my wife. Nicely decorated for Christmas. Very good value food. There was a notice offering locally brewed ales - so tempted to return at a later time of day.

Love this place, the atmosphere, the staff and food are all great. Great place to stop for lunch whatever the reason!

I only ordered a standard omelette with ham and cheese. The ham was off the bone. Decent enough and the chips and salad were fine. Nothing exceptional to be honest but nevertheless was good food. If I was in the area again I would say I would go in and try a different dish.

Really lovely home produced food, delightful welcome and service. We shall definitely visit regularly. Peter & Merete

Estuve con mi amigo y elegimos paninis, que no tienen mucho queso dentro del precio. El servicio podría haber sido más amable y que no volvería otra vez. En el lado positivo, tuvimos una tarta de chocolate calabacines de aguacate que estaba muy bien.

Visited this cafe during a stay in Southbourne for a wedding - therefore we were in need of breakfast for 7 hungover lads. The breakfast didn't disappoint! Good service too. Recommended :)

We popped in for a full English breakfast. Had a really nice breaky that was well cooked, didn't taste too greasy. The coffee was good too. Would definitely recommend it!

Breakfast was amazing, coffees delayed but worth the wait, owner wouldn't leave me alone kept asking me to write a review, definately would return, just don't have the chicken pie

Nos presentamos como una familia de 5 con un bebé y nos dieron una cálida bienvenida. Tronas disponibles y el propietario nos permitió alimentar a nuestro bebé con la comida que habíamos traído con nosotros. La variedad del menú era impresionante, con una buena pensión especial. Toda la comida era casero o especialmente preparados. La comida era razonable con generosas porciones. Teníamos nuestro flan envuelto para llevar a casa.

We visited this café last week for lunch and the food and service was very disappointing, we ad hardly sat down when the waitress come over to take our order, we said we hadn't even looked at the menu so we ordered our drinks, less than a minute later she was over again saying are we now ready to order, I had the chicken pie with and my wife she had the breaded fish, I didn't enjoy my Pie and my wife thought the Fish was from a packet and was not freshly cooked., we paid our bill and left feeling very dissatisfied with our meals.

Decidimos probar este pequeño lugar local para el almuerzo del domingo, y no me decepcionó. No es un lugar lujoso, pero buena homestyle cocinar con excelentes ingredientes locales. Carne es originario de New Forest y estaba buenísimo. Cena tradicional asado con opción de cerdo, pollo o carne, todos con una buena variedad de verdura fresca. Necesita ahorrar para el postre - porción muy generosa de Berry Casablaca para nosotros. Muy cerca de un acantilado, pero más barata opción que las alternativas frente al mar. Bien vale la pena caminar hasta la playa. Servicio amable. Volveremos sin duda allí de nuevo.

La comida era muy buena, el servicio es amable, y muy simpáticos con perros! Probablemente la mejor leek y sopa de patatas que he tenido en mi vida. jamón casero e incluso el pan sabor delicioso. las porciones generosas y opción 'menos hambre. Excelente relación calidad-precio. No te dejes desanimar por el exterior es aburrida. A pocos metros de la cima del acantilado, y las playas de Southbourne.

Called in for breakfast on a Friday morning. Were the only people in the cafe but service was slow, otherwise nicely cooked breakfast.

Excellent, fresh home cooked food. We came in for a Sunday roast and it was just like mum used to make! Highly recommended - :)

Coffee and food was delicious and served quickly. Good value and also noticed that they have a 5 hygiene rating.
