What an excellent lunch. Only been for Sunday lunch previously which have all been excellent.Tried it mid week and although Quite the food and atmosphere provided for an enjoyable lunch. Big shout out for the Beef and mushroom Pie which rates amongst the best we have ever tasted. Full marks to all the staff.

Best proper pub food i've had for ages, with great homemade chips. Lovely staff too! Beer also tastes great...like, well-kept and fresh which sounds weird but you don't actually get that everywhere.

Comida muy decepcionante. Tenía la ciabatta del rey que tenía una pequeña salchicha, una rodaja de tocino, una cantidad muy pequeña de queso y un hachís marrón grasiento. Sin embargo, el servicio fue muy bueno. El personal es amable y servicial. Qué pena lo de la comida

Nice enough restaurant. Simple menu but very tasty food. Staff are friendly and efficient, prices are reasonable. Has vegan options and decent side options.

We have visited the elder a few times over recent months and the food and service have always been exceptional. So we thought we would experience their recently launched afternoon tea. It did not disappoint! The food was exceptional. As were their selection of fine teas. A Freshly made selection of finger sandwiches accompanied by the finest venison sausage roll and delicate cheese twist. To follow, the most beautiful treats. A trip down nostalgia lane with a gorgeous Battenberg slice, along with a sweet lemon and blueberry macaron. Then, what felt like an Italian twist on a tiramisu which was so incredibly light and delicious. However, to top these delights was a zingy raspberry cheesecake tart. This was so good! And the perfect way to finish. We were so full by the end that we had to share one scone between the 6 of us just so we could sample the finest homemade strawberry jam. We asked for a box to take the rest home. When putting these delights in the box we came across some warm Eccles cakes. Of course we had to find room for these little wonders. They were just something else! So, if you need that special place to eat in this beautiful Roman city then check out the Elder. You will be wowed. The Ambience, the service, the food….. all top class. This place deserves a star.

Excelente café que admite perros justo al lado de la abadía en el baño. Los cruasanes rellenos son absolutamente deliciosos y el personal es muy amable

Lovely lunch once again,haven't had a bad meal here,always brilliant service,good value,great atmosphere. We thought we'd try a nearby pub for a change but £21 for fish&chips was a little steep so back to the good old Druids,never disappoints.

Gran servicio, precios razonables y los productos eran increíbles. Prueba el caramelo de frambuesa, para morir. Un toque de verano en el día.

Llevó a mi pareja un fin de semana fuera por ella 60 años eligió este hotel porque quería que cenara en el restaurante Cloisters pero Heyho terminamos teniendo ambas comidas en el conservatorio adjunto al bar. Muy decepcionado El personal fantástico, pero también parecía triste que la dirección ha decidido cerrar este restaurante para los huéspedes comunes y utilizarlo para bodas y funciones especiales. Tuvimos nuestra habitación en un complejo cercano más nuevo y también desayunamos en este complejo, así que no parecía sacar mucho provecho del impresionante edificio. No volveremos tristemente y nos alojaremos más cerca del centro de la ciudad la próxima vez. Lamentablemente, quitó el límite de nuestro disfrute, así que mensaje a la gerencia G&M

A fantastic place to stay! 4 girlfriends on an overnight in Bath..it was perfect! Lovely staff, rooms,food an so many 'treats' that you don't ever get (sweets fruit fresh milk just to.mention a few!) Highly recommend ..def coming back!

Visited for lunch and couldn’t really get anything we wanted. All sandwiches are pre made which really doesn’t allow you to have what you want, you just end up with certain things you like but with some ingredients you might not. I was told they don’t make up anything any more because there’s ‘only 3 of us and it gets too busy’. Well it was bang in the middle of lunchtime and there was only ourselves and 2 other people in the shop, hardly overrun! I even asked if they could put some coronation chicken on a wrap with a bit of salad, to which I was told no, obviously. The only thing they would make up was salad boxes where they added a filling on top of certain salads, be interesting to see how much longer it would take to add those ingredients to a roll instead of a salad bowl, I’m guessing not much if anything. I bet they also have far more wastage pre making. Not sure how businesses survive sometimes..

Entrega uno de los mejores pescado con papas fritas para llevar de la historia. Las papas fritas están muy bien cocinadas, crujientes y sabrosas... ¡como las mini papas asadas! Pescado maravilloso también. Esperando que este lugar pueda permanecer abierto

Great food served with a smile. Always very busy which shows how popular it is. Been coming here for years and haven't been disappointed yet.
