Tuvimos varias visitas al salón de té mientras estábamos en Polperro. Las mejores vistas del puerto y una trampa solar también. Gran selección de deliciosos pasteles y asientos dentro y fuera. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

We travelled to go here and after a lovely journey found the restaurant all in all very good lovely trout starter followed by beautiful rare roast beef husband had pork plenty fresh vegetable all served on a hot plate with plenty gravy service was spot on a lovely friendly waiter served us worth a visit

Booked in for carvery to celebrate 51st wedding anniversary for myself and wife. On arrival welcome was lacking but table was set aside. A flower on the table would have been well received. Cheerful waitress. ( not able to interact well with us) No condiments on table. When found held together with selotape. Very good food. Chocolate brownie gained top marks! Estábamos esperando el desayuno inglés 50 minutos y una vez que la señora comenzó a servir llevó nuestro pedido a otra mesa. Dijeron que no es lo que ordenaron. Le pregunté si era nuestra orden, ya que estábamos allí antes de estas personas y nuestra orden es exactamente lo que ella quiere servir a los demás. Dijo que no, no es nuestro. Mencionamos que estamos esperando ya 45-50 minutos por lo menos. Fue grosera e incluso no dijo ninguna disculpa. Cancelamos nuestro pedido y definitivamente no volveremos más allí. Vergüenza y tristeza

Food wasn’t very hot and there were lots of flies round the table. Food tasted okay but the pub felt dirty and the cutlery wasn’t clean. I tired to email rather than leave a review but nobody replied.

We found the Cheeserollers pub when I was looking through local places for an evening quiz after our regular one ceased. What can I say Fabulous friendly nights out with lots of team spirit. Shaun is a very sociable and friendly host both on team nights and in general. As a couple we’ve eaten solo from our team and we’ve also eaten as a group. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and as I’m a rather fussy vegetarian I’m well catered for with a varied menu. Thank you Shaun for the fun times and Mary for the great food. Has changed hands again very recently. So we went for lunch on a tuesday. The food took nearly an hour to be served. It was overpriced. The chicken and bacon salad I had had no bacon. I had to ask for it. It has been forgotten! The chicken was burnt and it was a small portion. We used to eat here all the time, but after this and the last meal we had last year, we won't be returning. Have been to two other pubs owned by this company recently and they were so much better. Even though the menu was the same, they were better value, better portions and much nicer food.

We held a baby shower at Heron Farm in the upstairs mezzanine room. It's such a bright, airy space with gorgeous views. Everyone had such a lovely time and loved the afternoon tea - there was a great selection of cakes! Alison was so accommodating throughout and made the planning process really smooth. I would definitely recommend either for a lunch/day out or for parties and other occasions!

Great Little Café. very Friendly. The owner even donated to my Lands End to John O Groats Bike ride. Great Tea & Cake got me on my way.

I go in most days and always have a good experience in there. Whether it’s the badhand coffee, the delicious homemade cakes or the friendly and welcoming staff I always leave with a smile on my face!

Be aware that the hostel is basically a building site at the moment, and almost certainly will be for at least another month, possibly two. So, the views mentioned on the website are simply not there-far from it. Unfortunately, the YHA do not warn you about this when you book, so I was extremely disappointed when I arrived for my four-night stay last week. It is certainly true that the hostel is in a fantastic location, and I have no doubt that it will be spectacular when finished-a new outdoor terrace and a conservatory, as I understand it. However, if you are considering paying a visit in the next couple of months or so, I strongly recommend that you check with the hostel first. The frontage is currently just unsightly groundworks.

Great lavazza coffee, pasties, sausage roll and carrot cake. Greeted with a big smile and welcome, served promptly with clean cutlery and polite service. Well worth a visit if you want good value for money and quality food.
