Brilliant service, i go once a year when at the air show. Not many places you get 4 or 5 staff giving you their full attention. Looking forward to next year !

Amazing service from start to finish, exceptional food starters were delicious and the mains tantalised the taste buds. Jackie the most beautiful person to have delightful looked after us not only was friendly, caring and approachable she even made his birthday special by wishing him a blessed birthday every time she went pass. A beautiful soul and incredible member of staff. Thank you Jackie for exceeding the best levels of service. Only thing missing was the chocolate cake 😋

We had an enjoyable lunch here with our three young grandchildren. Jackie made us feel very welcome and looked after us throughout our meal. Service was quick and the food was very tasty and enjoyable, we would definitely visit again if we were staying longer

The girls (wife and 2 daughters) and I have been on holiday from US for 2 weeks. Our travels have taken us all over Ireland to London to Bournemouth at the end to top it off. It’s not an exaggeration to say I’ve had a LOT of fish and chips in this journey. I have to say the Terrace Bistro hands down served me the best I’ve had while here. Well done!! I made sure to let the chef know and the entire staff started clapping to show him love. That was great. My lil’ girls loved the pasta too!!! Highly recommend if you are visiting the Bournemouth beach. Beautiful gardens outside too.

We came here 2021 and had already decided to return this year when on holiday. The seafood platter to share is amazing, quality fish , even the salad is so nice. Not sure about the egg mayo pot, bit of an outsider tbh. Service great, very friendly, the views onto the gardens are lovely. Will definitely return next time we’re in Bournemouth.

A very good restaurant for lunch and beyond serving nice food. We made a visit while holidaying nearby and using my” one street back “ scenario. I have used places on the front and most are pretty poor. This restaurant mainly do pizzas which is not my preference until now. I choose a spicy one and was the best I have ever had by a country mile. The staff are very friendly and efficient and sitting on the terrace on a sunny day makes it a bit more pleasant.

My wife and I popped into this venue for a light snack, early afternoon. The food was magnificent and presented with style, and our server, George was exceptionally courteous and helpful; a chap who knows how to communicate with people and keep his customers happy. He sets a high bar for service and no doubt sets an example for his colleagues to emulate. I would recommend the management do its utmost to retain his services. He is a credit to the industry. A nice uncluttered venue with views over the Lower Gardens. I would recommend to all.

This is such a lovely restaurant. It’s near the beach and has gorgeous gardens to look onto. The service is quick and jacki served us with a smile on her face. She also recommended the new bar for dinner and drinks. This is the second time we have been here and I would highly recommend x

A great place to chill have some coffee or brunch, with outside sitting and ambient music. The service was outstanding, all the staff was superfriendly and accommodating, but the superstar was lovely Jacline (maybe it's misspelled) with a wide smile and an inviting personality. 100% satisfied

This was our second visit, we were so impressed the first time that we went back less than a week later. The chef remembered us from our first visit and when asked for a bit more bread with our charcuterie sharing platter he said you may have what ever you want. When our platter came the whole plater was much bigger than the last one and we we charged exactly the same price. The staff are very friendly and there is a lovely ambiance about the place. Where it is situated you can sit and watch people walking through the beautiful Bournemouth gardens. This is definitely our new favourite place to either eat or have a drink or both.

Stopped in for lunch today after being on the beach and needing to get out of the sun. It’s definitely a hidden gem!! All the staff were extremely lovely, particularly our server. We didn’t catch her name but she’s from Tamworth and we had a little chat about a shopping centre in Solihull. She was so helpful! She went through every single drink option and flavour with me until I found something I liked. I’m a Coca Cola girl through and through and they serve Pepsi. Our food came out not long after she took our order and it was amazing, the spaghetti bolognese should definitely be on the main dish menu as it’s brilliant! She was constantly checking on us (which sometimes can be very intrusive but not on this occasion) and kept refilling our water jug for us. When I return I can only pray she serves me again and Il be getting 2 of the children’s spaghetti bolognese for myself.

Great little find, staff friendly and accommodating, all 4 of us had a lovely meal, shared the seafood platter with friend and then 4 of us had cheese bored. We will return next time we’re in Bournemouth. Thanks to all the staff.

Called in on a busy saturday lunch time, staff were so accommodating finding us a table part sun and shade to meet both our needs! Waitress took our order! Drinks came promptly and our food of pizza and chips was delicious!

I was meeting my daughter for lunch and we hadn't booked. We were welcomed and sat on the outside terrace under the umbrella on a beautiful summer's day. It is a great place to 'people watch'. We ordered our lunches, I had a lovely Chicken & Parma Ham Salad which was lovely. My daughter had a Smoked Salman Ciabatta which she enjoyed. All of the waiting staff were attentive and friendly and we felt thoroughly looked after. I would definitely re-visit when coming back to Bournemouth. A perfect, relaxed lunchtime. 10 out of 10 - Thank you.

Had gin cocktails on the terrace. Lovely location & view across the lower gardens. Staff were fantastic, extremely welcoming & friendly. Good choice of drinks. Only criticism was lack of facilities. Only one toilet for which people were queuing. This needs improvement given the amount of customers on a bank holiday weekend.

Went today with my family for my birthday lunch - a beautiful sunny day made sitting on the terrace even more enjoyable. The young chaps serving and attending tables were charming, patient and polite. Two salads and a burger/wedges were all tasty, attractively presented and excellent value. Of course, they are also blessed with a huge seating area, in full sun or shade - with a view across the gardens and out to sea. I would definitely recommend this establishment. Thanks guys!

Fuimos al Terrace Bistro en el Pavilion cuando visitábamos Bournmouth. Después de buscar un café y un almuerzo por todas partes, lo cual fue difícil ya que teníamos un perro pequeño con nosotros, finalmente encontramos este lugar. Bueno, muy recomendable. Nos sentamos al sol y nos atendió una fantástica camarera, Liv. Nada era demasiado difícil para ella, era una entre un millón, era tan alegre y amistosa. Tuvimos un almuerzo ligero que era delicioso y un buen café para acompañarlo. Definitivamente recomendamos una visita.

This is still one of my favourites coffee places in the town centre. Cosy in winter and lots of outdoor seating in the summer. And a nice view over the gardens. Very friendly staff and super coffee (and chocolate cake!)

Limpia una cafetería amigable, visitamos con bastante frecuencia mientras vivimos en Bournemouth. El personal suele ser amable y servicial, especialmente Soura, que hace un excelente café. Acabo de tomar un sándwich y café hoy pero he tenido otras comidas que no me puedo quejar en absoluto. Los precios son promedio y mucho mejores que algunos de la mala calidad en la playa.

Las tablas A de afuera prometían vino caliente con especias, sidra caliente y una variedad de pizzas, perfectas para un ajetreado almuerzo del domingo antes de Navidad. Pero no había nada caliente, y solo 3 pizzas poco interesantes disponibles, de lo contrario, café, cerveza embotellada o sándwiches y panninis preenvasados. Cuando llegó nuestro pannini estaba en un plato de gran tamaño, sin guarnición, y era muy normal.

Fui al bar de la terraza hoy con amigos. Vine a este lugar hace muchos años para la boda de un amigo. Renovado ahora y, aunque vivo en Bournemouth, nunca se me ocurrió ir.Cómo me arrepiento ahora. Maravillosa ubicación al final del jardín y comida increíble. Pero lo que realmente lo vendió hoy fue el maravilloso personal más increíble que trabaja aquí. Todos ellos sonrientes, conversadores, amigables. Nunca he estado en un lugar donde uno no sea miserable y te haga sentir que eres un inconveniente para ellos. Definitivamente regresaré a este lugar con mis amigos / familia. ¡Espero que estos miembros del personal sean apreciados y se queden por mucho tiempo! Hemos tenido el mejor momento hoy. Our first visit this year: how lovely to chill on the terrace, overlooking the splendid Gardens. Coffees, lovely service...spot-on. The deli menu is decent, and there's plenty of seating indoors too.

We stopped here before our train ride out of town for just a small bite. My wife had the Dorset Cream tea and enjoyed it overall. Alittle price but not by much with good inside seating. I did try the milkshake and thought it was pretty tasty. Service was fine for our smaller meal.

This has a lovely position overlooking the lower gardens. The coffee and cake make for a delightful pit stop. It’s pleasantly peaceful and well away from the frantic activity on the beach. Highly recommended.

Someone tell these people it isn't enough to have a cafe with a good location. You have to make them feel welcome. Simple as that. The blonde girl serving at the bar is lovely, all smiles. Conversely, smiling is the last thing on the minds of the two Spanish girls dishing up the coffee. I am always at pains to be polite and courteous to staff everywhere I go. Hours are long. Pay isn't great. But these guys virtually spat in my face. And then to hear them all joking and laughing amongst themselves, when the attitude to the customer is lousy? In the 21st Century, when everything everywhere is so competitive? No excuse.

Nice to just sit and relax in the sun with a cuppa and not be rushed to leave. It’s a lovely location and great if wanting a drink before attending an event in The Pavilion.

Recently visited this Bistro. It was clean, the service was wonderful, there was a lovely outside seating area. Staff were very attentive bringing more drinks as and when we needed them. They serve fantastic gin cocktails and great tasty pizza's which were served ever so quickly.

En un día soleado no hay mejor lugar para un aperitivo y un café. Un montón de asientos al aire libre y el interior acaba de tener un cambio de imagen. Y es tan tranquilo en comparación con la playa a 200 metros de distancia.

Away from the bustle of the beach this quiet cafe offers outside seating and nice coffee. There are snacks (sandwiches, cakes etc.) and plenty of inside seating. Note that the lavatories are a few yards away inside the Pavilion theatre itself. There are lifts from street level. The view over the gardens is very pleasant.

A great location set in the lower gardens to enjoy a pre theatre meal before enjoying a show in the adjoining theatre. Enthusiastic staff, and a reasonably priced 2 course meal with wine or beer.

My husband and I dropped in here for lunch during the opening day of Arts by the Sea (worth going to btw) The staff are very welcoming and friendly without being intrusive and we were left to peruse the menu and enjoy the 'goings on' in the gardens from our vantage point on the terrace.

The location is certainly first class and it has a lovely aspect over the park. The service was ok but we found that quite a few things were not available from the menu and the food quality could only be described as average.

The position here is perfect for a view of the lower gardens. There’s plenty of seating outside as well as indoors. The coffee is good but occasionally the cakes on offer are not totally fresh. The lavatories are inside the Pavilion itself via steps.
