The best restaurants serving British food in Worthing South East

Excellent fish and chips at a reasonable price. Not sure if the fish is sustainably sourced as this isn't highlighted sufficiently in the menu. I really hope it is.

An excellent find. Have to say that the Parsonage lived up to and exceeded expectations. Our party of 5 were made to feel so very welcome and the service was expedient and good exceptional and excellent value. The Sea Bass looked and tasted as fresh as they vibe and the mixed grill for two more than enough for 4. Altogether top marks and a really great experience.

I’ve been coming here for years. It’s the best cafe in the whole of Worthing. Great friendly service and food is always amazing. Love the huge crispy jacket spuds and great amount of prawns and a little salad. Sandwhiches best in Worthing. Lovely coffee. Just everything they produce is to perfection and always served with a smile. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Wonderful breakfast, lovely sausages and bacon.service was great and very accommodating. There were 11 of us and all wanted different things!!! Highly recommend

Was told that the Black Cat was a good full breakfast by a friend, he did warn me that there are 2 cooks 1 good and 1 that was terrible, we got the terrible. Waited 25 minutes to get cold food, over cooked poached eggs. Would recommend any other cafe than the Black Cat Worthing.

Had a hunt the burger in the roll!!! Staff were really good and attentive, burger was very dry and to small for the bun, chips were good but hard mess up frozen chips! Sorry won't be coming back.

Visited today with my parter, step son and mother in law, every time we come to Worthing we go to The Perch for lunch. Food as always was amazing. After a minor issue with my burger that I brought to the attention of our waitress when she cleared our table (I wasn't making a complaint, just letting her know about the issue) she was extremely apologetic (unfortunately I didn't get her name, but she was brilliant). A few minutes later the manager (again forgot to ask his name) came to our table to also apologise. I did tell him that it wasn't that big a deal but he genuinly wanted to rectify the issue. Without doubt the best customer service I have ever experienced, as mentioned, I wasn't complaining I was just making them aware. Two minutes later there was a round of drinks brought to our table and my burger was taken off the bill, absolutely superb place, great food and absolutely amazing customer service. I would highly recommend The Perch On The Pier, absolutely superb!

We stopped for a cocktail sitting outside which initially was lovely however no service outside so had to wait and bring our own drinks out. We decided to have a second cocktail. We were served by a different barman and the drink was half the size and not the same. We questioned this and after a bit of a discussion everything remedied. Will definitely visit again as customer service came through in the end. Much appreciated.

A little expensive but good food and service

Very nice Hotel. Staff were excellent. Resturant was good.room very good. Only problem was being woken early morning by the sound of the tanker emptying the septic tank outside.

Used to be a good local pub, live music etc. Poor management, disappointed.
