Vintner's Parrot in Worthing

After a busy day at work I needed a good dinner so remembering my last visit I made a bee-line to Thieves. I had a Cheese & Bacon Burger (beef patty with beechwood-smoked streaky bacon, Barber's 1833 Vintage Cheddar, coleslaw and lettuce, served in a seeded bun) totally delicious. Although the patty was a small, thin thing it had plenty of flavour and it didn’t seem too thin like in other places I’ve been to. It tasted great with the cheese and coleslaw, and good bacon. I didn’t know about the ‘£14 burger and a beer’ offer when I came in, and the beer I ordered originally wasn’t in that offer, but the very friendly and helpful barman informed me and suggested a beer that was in the offer, I took his recommendation and have no regrets about it! Good customer service there Thieves, wish I knew his name to give a shout-out here

Great place for watching sport, super friendly staff and good selection of beers, we even got table service! Good general vibe in there

We visited here today & ordered a beef roast. We were not disappointed, OMG it was amazing. There are very few places you can buy a decent Sunday roast in Worthing these days. However, we both really enjoyed it. I was really surprised. We were looking for somewhere to have a roast, and upon walking by I saw a menu on a table outside so I stopped to read it. I was hesitant at first because I thought, is it going to be one of those frozen meals with the plastic tasting meat. Well, there was nothing to complain about, it was perfect. The beef was cooked all the way through, which is how I like it. We had savoy cabbage, carrots, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. The vegetables were fresh, and the portion size was generous. We will definitely go again.

Had a lovely meal here. Staff are great and friendly couldn’t ask for more. Added bonus that Fosters was on offer at £2 a pint 👍

Away from home with work been here a few times front of house staff are great but what I really liked was the fact I decided to eat this Thursday for a late lunch had the fish and it was amazing and will be coming back next time I am down this way

We like this pub, staff are polite and friendly. Gave a low score as the outside area isn't very nice. Tables on top of each other, if you're a non smoker it's absolutely dreadful...surrounded by them...ashtrays full and cigarette ends all over the floor. If you want to sit in the sun, it's really unpleasant. Yuk. Wouldn't want to eat outside.

The best pub in Worthing without a doubt. Atmosphere for the football was brilliant and Kelly is the glue that sticks it all together. Great atmosphere, good pints on draught and unreal food. Not much else to say other then if you’re going to a pub in Worthing this is the go to.

We booked tickets for the Euros final having watched all of the previous games in The Thieves Kitchen. Booking tickets was easy and included food- we had Nachos which were amazing- plenty of them with loads of avocado and salsa. Staff worked their absolute socks off. Kelly in particular was amazing, she handled our booking, worked the bar, cleared glasses and chatted and smiled to everyone throughout - she really is a great asset to Greene King - shame we didn’t “Bring it home”, but we all made great memories that’s for sure!!

Had the meal and a drink deal for £12,we both had the burger and fries which were delicious with a pint of peroni and a glass of wine all for £24. Staff were very helpful and attentive,would definitely go again and recommend.

Went for a business dinner with some colleagues and the food was incredible, the boys in the kitchen done very well and the service from Kelly was good.

Went there on Sunday for a beef roast.fatty grisly beef totally inedible,undercooked vegetables and awful gravy and I'm pretty sure I could have taken a window out with the yorkie!!!.very disappointing as it's a great pub and the staff are always very friendly.manager is great was offered a full refund but the ki5chen ermm I'd stay clear especially the beef roast.

Had a really lovely afternoon sipping my favourite beer. Cody and Kelly and Kerry make a rather amicable team. The burger (chicken) was excellent. Will be back on Friday as Cody assured me the Karaoke is winner

I booked Thieves Kitchen for a work 'thank you day'. This included a hot buffet of -chicken wings, sausage rolls, battered halloumi, chips, haddock goujons & sweet potato wedges. The food was excellent! There were loads of compliments from the team. We also used the downstairs games room which has two shuffle boards, three electric dart boards and a pool table. It's fair price and great fun for all! Huge thank you to the staff for being so helpful throughout the organisation process and ensuring the day ran smoothly.

Originally came on new years eve with the intention of just a few quick drinks with friends at 9pm to start our evening and we ended up staying through the new year's countdown at midnight and on till closing. We even joined in on karaoke a couple of times. The staff were amazing and really gave it their all to help customers have a great new years eve. Tom and Kelly got up for a few songs and really livened the place up. They did a duet of the closing song with Stand By Me. Which we thought was a perfect end to the year and joined in wholeheartedly. Best pub in worthing hands down.

Every time I come to Thieves’ Kitchen I’m greeted with a warm welcome. The food is quick and tasty, the beer is always cold and shuffleboard is always a great laugh. Can’t wait to go back!
