Lovely place for an ice cream and a chat. Nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating.

Beautiful little beach front cafe with plenty of.seating inside and our, outside has wind breakers. Right on the beach front with fantastic food or snack choice, ice creams, and milkshakes for the kiddies lovely stop off while walking the dogs on the beach ⛱️ 😋

Gets very busy, but they employ plenty of staff. Wide choice of food, I think, but a fry up and coffee sitting at the edge of the beach is near heaven.

Always love stopping by here. We had a goulash, prawn, crab sandwich and fish and chips, (but my friend disappointed it wasn't fresh fish.) Lovely cakes too 😋 Watch out for the greedy seagulls!!

Good value for money. Generous portions and a delicious-looking selection of cakes! Lots of choice and ideally situated. There are a few fairly steep steps up to the desk where you order. Loos close by and well maintained.

Popped in for breakfast, it was such a lovely morning so sat on the beach. Staff were polite and efficient, food was lovely and good value for money

It was okay. Great location and good easy parking. First time visiting and was really looking forward to it based upon reviews. I didn't feel that the staff were particularly polite or welcoming. Got a coffee and 2 cakes. Neither was particularly great and actually left some of the apple pie which had like congealed kind of jellied sauce and was not the most pleasant to eat. Left feeling disappointed to be honest.

Always very popular, good food at a great location. Offer table service, be prepared for a short wait as all food is cooked to order, well worth it!

Unpredictable weather - this extended cafe offers additional shelter, with dog friendly offering in the marquee section. Menu extensive, and reasonably priced. Staff friendly. You can dine in or take away. Small, well used car park and public conveniences available. Welcome stop for walkers, or water sports people. Right on beach front. Bus service nearby. Staff are always efficient and happy to help, they make you feel very welcome.

Fresh crab sandwich for £11 which was horrible. Apparently they buy in both white and dark meat and mash them together into a paste. I couldn’t eat it and when I complained the manager offered me a cake! When I poured my pot of tea most of it ended up in the saucer as the lid didn’t close. We spent a lot of money for mediocre food. It used to be so good!

Pricey but worth it. We had a garden breakfast, a classic with an extra portion of hash browns and two bottled drinks and it came to just over £30. That seemed expensive , but when we got the food the high quality of the ingredients shone through and the presentation looked very nice. Plenty of parking within a a few hundred feet. You find your table, note the table number and order at the counter. Food arrives about 5 minutes later. We didn't try any, but the cakes and pastries looked excellent. Well worth a visit for a bit of a breakfast treat.

I've been to the sea lane cafe on many an occasion. The staff are always great, friendly, and accommodating. The food is hot, tasty and very nice. It is now about time that they had a refurbish inside the restaurant. I think the banquette seating needs to be replaced and the whole interior given a modern makeover. I'm not sure if they are responsible for the toilets as well, but they are not nice at all.

The nuggets, sandwiches and toasties were AMAZING! Would recommend this cafè. Only problem is the price, bit expensive. Still 5 stars though.

Classic breakfast is delicious. The cheese scones are scrumptious, ( l took one home for later). Such a great atmosphere and the staff are very friendly.

Absolutely beautiful location, great café but prices reflect the monopoly of the only café in that area. Ok if you want a coffee for one but wouldn't recommend taking a family of 4 or 5 unless you have a healthy bank account.

We went new years eve daytime to meet friends. What an amazing array of cakes. We had lunch too. Its a busy place, so you may have to wait for a table. They have a great view over the beach. Free parking outside.

Very rainy day but when hasn't it been over Christmas/New Year! Lots of free parking around. Even though it was really busy, the food was cooked quickly, was very tasty and served by lots of smiley staff.

Lovely coffee and scones, welcoming staff, great view and free car parking. And the complementary, delicious warm mince pie was a delightful pre-Christmas treat. We will be back … often!

Stopped off for a bit lunch outside area was covered but went up the stairs to the indoor part of the cafe which was clean and tidy had pepper soup and white bread roll cup of tea service was good soup very nice A good selection on the menu, well behaved dogs aloud

What a classic cafe. Great view, great food. Service is really great even when busy, they have a good system. Good cover for the rain. They let dogs in.

Really love this local cafe, amazing location right on the sea with a lovely view. The atmosphere is really bustling and feels like a locals spot. The pastries are delish and the coffee was great, all reasonably priced as well. Will definitely be going back :)

December afternoon stopped there for a oat milk latte and cake sat outside as we had the dogs wasn't very busy and there was no seagulls trying to steal the food . For 3 coffees and a large cake cost £15 which we thought was quite reasonable definitely recommend and will return

Lovely place located on the sea front. Food is good, portion sizes are Great, prices aren't unreasonable. My favourite thing are the fresh cakes, very yummy. If you are in Worthing, it's worth a visit.

As always, my visit here was everything I walked it to be. Good food as usual, plenty of room indoors and out, friendly staff and who doesn't love a good cafe right in the beach. This is still my favourite happy place.

A great place to visit for a drink and a bite to eat. Very busy when we visited at lunchtime but the service was fast and efficient. The coffee and huge slab of cake were delicious and the rest of the menu looked good too, will definitely visit again.

Went here on the 25th of October for a cream tea and although we were served two huge scones we were only given a small pot of cream and a tiny pot of jam. The cream was given to us already opened. As there wasn't really enough cream or jam for the two scones, I asked and had to pay and extra £3 for more. This time the waitress came me a pot of cream but had forgotten to take lid off. It was clearly well over a week OUT OF DATE. Luckily I didn't get sick or anything but I definitely won't be returning. Cakes on display did look pretty magnificent though.

Delicious food, slightly spoilt by a wasp deciding to drown itself in my lager and I didn't notice until too late so ended up being stung inside my lower lip! Fortunately I'm not allergic, and the wasp came off worse, but it did spoil what was otherwise a lovely lunch!

Stopped for coffee and Bakewell sponge cake, see pic. This was delicious. Not too sweet. Light and well balanced on a stormy afternoon, watching the waves roll up the beach during Storm Ciara, November 23. No problem getting a seat , but very popular in the Summer. Parking is very good, too, with 3 accessible spaces close by.

Had an unplanned very well cooked and tasty lunch of sausage and chips. It was the service which was 5* as nothing was too much trouble and despite being very busy, all with a smile.. Delicious cakes too, couldn't resist taking a piece away for the next day. A lovely break before walking back along the coast to Worthing.

We visit sealaine cafe when we pop down to the coast, the food is good,but expensive. Always very busy so be prepared to stand in a long queue. You can sit on the beach and have your breakfast 😎.

Love Sea Lane Cafe, very friendly.....food is excellent. The place is run like a well oiled machine.

Ok so the last few times I just had chips and they were a generous portion size. This time I had a cheese and ham toastie and was exceptionally disappointed. I had gluten free bread; it was tiny with a skimpy amount of filling too and it cost £6.95 with a garnish. I felt cheated. The friends I were with looked embarrassed for me and I felt really awkward as they'd paid! I thought I'd found my new favourite place to eat and was meant to be going back Thursday with other people but I've sadly changed my mind and will go elsewhere. I know my custom is unimportant as they're always so busy but maybe someone else might read this and think twice.

We think that this seaside cafe is Ace! We had outstandingly delicious tuna sandwiches. We noticed the detail of the lovely soft bread being buttered, the filling was jam packed into the bread (certainly no skimping here!) And the garnish fresh! Beautifully presented. And then there were the selection of cakes!! Hard to resist. 5 stars all round. What a gem of a business! Can't recommend you all highly enough!

I'm happy to go here, but be warned its very popular , most of the year round. There are lots of tables inside the cafe , in the newish covered seating area and outside both on the beach and on the patio and grass area. There is a very good selection of cakes and coffees , and a very extensive savoury menu and a good breakfast menu too. We often meet there when out cycling. The main seafront path runs right passed the cafe and there is a small kiosk around the side for ice creams too. The toilets are at the rear and there's a large car park and on street free parking nearby. You can watch the various different activities off shore , kite surfing, sail boarding etc from your seat drinking a nice latte perhaps. Well worth a visit but listen out for you order number and beware of the Seagulls as they are aggressive

Love the prawn sandwiches and great spot to watch the kitesurfers.
