Sunday morning breakfast. The service was great, a nice warm welcome and responsive. The orders came promptly and the waiter was friendly. The only downside was that the coffee had a bitter aftertaste, but the food was lovely. nicely cooked.

Popped in for a late breakfast and cup of coffee with my mother whilst we were n a thrifting excursion. Staff could not have been friendlier. Yhe food was swiftly served and delicious. The cafe was interestingly but not impractically designed. Mum and I had a wonderful experience. I recommend.

Very friendly welcome and service with a smile. Poached eggs on toast with avocado, no butter on the toast so it was very dry and the avocado served separately in small dishes on the side. Didn’t look appetising and was just average but as I said great service.

Love it in Bites - everyone working there is super friendly. The choice of gluten cake is brilliant and tasty, I much try different things but their gluten free tuna toastie is delicious 😋

Few customers at lunch. Maybe a warning. Odd smell.in restaurant. Coffee was ok. Ordered brie and bacon toasted on white bread. No care taken in presentation. White sandwich on white plate with syale white tortilla chips.....all 5 of them. No garnish. Looked awful. Taste not great. Little staff care. Playing on their phones. Cold in cafe. We left and only two people left. No surprise there. Cross this off my list. I didnt complain as partner asked me not to. I should have done.

Yes, Bites was good, and I have had a chance to talk to the owner/operator a few times. You can tell he has pride in his business. Everything was of good order in his cafe, and I have no complaints at all. Everything was good, and as you would expect.

Amazing tea, breakfast cooked to perfection (special off menu choice). Staff very polite, informative and helpful. So good that went back the next day. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended

Went here by chance with a couple of friends, one of whom is 90+ and in a wheelchair. The staff couldn’t do enough for us as soon as we entered, welcoming us with smiles and offering help. They were the same till we left, having had delicious, properly hot coffees with full-fat milk (why is this so rare? Semi, skimmed, oat, soya, but rarely the natural and best-for-you stuff) and hot chocolate that was presented beautifully with a chocolatey spider pattern on top. Thank you - we’ll be back!

Lovely tea and cake, made extra special by the very helpful and friendly guy behind the counter. Will definitely return to sample some of the other delicious looking cakes. They also have a lunch menu. Comfortable, clean surroundings. Lots of good, strong tea. Quick service

Our favourite cafe in town. My 9 year old son had the choice to go anywhere he wanted for lunch and picked bites. Food is amazing, fresh and local produce. Best friendliest staff always remember us and make us feel welcome So good we are going back today.

Hello, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the welcome and fantastic service I received yesterday, being a coeliac and having to eat gluten free food is difficult at the best of times, the absolutely huge selection of cakes was amazing and they tasted beautiful, you made my life so much easier yesterday, I’m so used to not being able to eat in lots of places so this was a wonderful opportunity, the lovely chap who served me was so helpful too,I didn’t catch his name but he deserves recognition for all he did. Lovely, well cooked breakfast served on a soft, fresh muffin at a very reasonable price. Clean and comfortable inside and Al-fresco dining available. Staff attentive and friendly. Good size regular pot of tea provides two large cups. Wide menu selection for breakfast, brunch and lunch, traditional cafe as you’d expect and like with gentle soul music creating a warm atmosphere Dog friendly

I have been here twice the last week as its a great place to grab some lunch in Worthing! I only write reviews when a team member goes above and beyond, and today i saw that! The guy behind the desk serving was amazing, he had a long que but took time to chat to people and make them feel welcome! When i was eating my lunch i saw him helping a lady with a dog and he really went out his way to help her. I did ask one of the managers for his name but i have no idea how to spell it so apologies! We will defiantly be back! Also, highly recommend the jacket potato with tuna!

Love this cafe I come here all the time it’s the best cafe in town by far. The owner is lovely and always chatty and welcoming as well as all the staff always being trained well to help and assist and go out there way to talk to you even when busy. Food is always fresh and warm and delicious and have a good variety of food. Prices are so reasonable! It’s always busy so just shows it’s a good place to eat. My favourite place to eat in town.

Went here for an all day breakfast because my favourite cafe was closed. All the food was greasy. Coffee was cheap and nasty but still cost over £3. If you want nice quality food and coffee for the same kind of price, try Cafe Traditionale...

I had the best bacon sandwitch ever! Thick slice off bread, tons of bacon and sum crisps. Yummo. Also tons off space and child friendly. All me kids love eating here and is made to feel welcome. As it should be!!!!

It's not often you walk into a cafe feeling Wow a very good welcome and a great coffee it even had Enjoy on it! They had a good choice on the menu for breakfast and lunches also catered for Gluten free and Vegan people.

I've been to Bites a few times and the service and food are always fantastic. I had the breakfast which featured butchers sausages and other good quality ingredients, it was delicious. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a well cooked meal in Worthing.

My family recently went for lunch at Bites. Unfortunately it was not the best experience. Firstly my son's milkshake was delivered spilled across the table and rather than replaced, was topped up. The breakfasts were satisfactory although one, slightly wrong. However, I was given a prawn in marie rose sauce sandwhich. There was a strange odour and the prawns were bad. I was offered something else but declined. I was reimbursed for the sandwich, but there was no explanation, and I was told it was freshly made that day. The prawns absolutely stank and therefore can not believe were freshly made. An unfortunate experience and will not be returning.

Had a full breakfast and coffee. Friendly staff and tasty, well cooked food. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and anywhere between peckish and hungry

My mum and I met for breakfast on Saturday. We both had a small cooked breakfast as we didn’t feel very hungry. When it arrived I was secretly delighted that it wasn’t small! Great value for money and generous portion sizes. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be returning.

We visited on Wednesday 29th September and had a disappointing visit , firstly on entering we noticed how cold the place was and saying to the lady behind the counter that we found it cold , she asked if we were eating which we had planned to , I again said how cold it was inside and didn't want to eat in such a cold environment ,there was no attempt made to offer to close the doors . There was only 1 other person sitting down stairs which is no wonder , we left without eating and ate elsewhere , very disappointed

A friend and i decided to lunch here. We ordered ham. eggs and chips with coffee ( in mugs please). Coffee towait until our meal was ready. All delivered promptly and exactly as aksed. Eggs were well cooked ( and eggs are the most difficult fpod to cook) delicious chips and plentiful amount of ham. Delicious coffee too. Delighteful lunch and we shall go there again. very pleasant atmosphere and happy staff.

I came here with my husband for lunch yesterday and was instantly impressed. Situated on a busy street with a plethora of places to eat, it stood out as an attractive looking place.Owner Joel greeted us near the door and found us a table although it was already busy and clearly popular.. Everything was beautifully clean - no tables piled up here with dirty dishes ages after diners had left!My husband chose a bacon and sausage panini with a glass of apple juice, I had tuna, cheese and onion with a large latte. The panini was not actually on the menu; what was on offer was a bacon and sausage sandwich but this was no problem for Joel's team. The menu was very flexible and no request too much trouble, offering very reasonable prices. Our food was succulent, perfectly prepared and attractively presented. The staff all seemed delighted to please their customers. The atmosphere was great, the clientele varying from business people to retired folk to one young woman with a baby. Altogether an excellent visit and one I will be keen to repeat when I am next in the area. I might even make a special journey here from Brighton! Next time I will try the falafel..Thanks Joel, you gave us an experience we will both remember! Jacqueline and Chris

We went to Bites in Warwick St. today for breakfast with a friend, she was amazed at how friendly and helpful all the staff were and was blown away by the quality of the food for such a good price, well worth a visit 10/10 .

I’m visiting a friend for the weekend, tried to get into a nearby cafe where I’ve been before, but it was full. Wandered along the road and thought this place looked nice. It’s almost self service, which I don’t particularly like, however… ordered poached Eggs with smashed avocado and bacon. I ordered the eggs hard, after sending them back twice, as they were completely runny, the eggs finally came back hard. By this time the toast was totally water logged, bacon cold and literally a tiny bit of avocado on the toast. It was virtually inedible. When the waitress came to collect plates and asked how everything was, I was honest and told her. What really irritated me was that I was not offered anything else, and really expected a manager or supervisor to come and apologise and either offer me something else or my money back. Shame, as the waitress was very nice.

Called in for a coffee, one of the best I have tasted in an independent shop. Place was really clean. Staff very friendly, especially young waiter, really polite young man.

The food, coffee and Service here is excellent being on a popular pedestrian only area 2 minute walk from the beach and pier. The service is worthy of a 5+ star restaurant and the team here always greet me with a smile and a very warm welcome, the food here is always plentiful and always arrives hot. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Visited this little gem of a place this afternoon for brunch after a trip to Splashpoint. We were warmly welcomed at the door, we placed and paid for our order at the till, and our “beautiful”(see attached picture) coffees arrived within a couple of minutes, followed by our delicious food. What a lovely experience with attentive and friendly staff and excellent service, I highly recommend this cafe (we are very fussy) and we will definitely return soon. Thank you Bites.. you were brilliant!

This was our first visit to Bites and the lunch was excellent. We sat outside and a waiter appeared very quickly with menus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. we would definitely rerturn.

I often come here for breakfast/brunch when in Worthing and love their scrambled eggs on toast. This time round I had the Veggie breakfast and everything was perfectly cooked and piping hot! Great cappuccinos too!

What really makes Bites stand out from the others is that you are treated as a valued customer. Always saying thank you goes along way.Our food was lovely, having brunch the other day. Ham egg and chips was superb with a lovely cup of coffee. My family also had a full English breakfast which was great value. Tasty food.Next time I will try one of their huge shortbreads by the till. I love a menu with a lot to choose from and this didn’t disappoint.Short wait for food and friendly waitress.Food was very nice. Salads are not something I would normally choose but my partners was so nice I will definitely order one next time.

We visited this cafe on the morning of 20th June and had a lovely breakfast and coffees. We also noticed how friendly and welcoming the staff were. We enjoyed the overall experience so much that we went back the following morning too for another delicious breakfast.We will definitely return here when we next visit Worthing and would highly recommend it to our friends and family.

We called in for a cup of coffee the service was very good staff were great and attentive the warm scones were delicious and we had our big black dog with us who was welcomed and no problem cooking a sausage for him overall it’s a place you go back to ,and reasonable prices to ..

We went to Worthing on a day trip with a friend and we were looking for a place to have lunch and escape the heat. BITES seemed like a nice place with spacious indoor seating. The staff were very friendly and the prices were reasonable. We got burgers for £7.50, which is a great price. We loved the relish sauce and the falafel spinach burger was a great veggie alternative. I got a berry burst smoothie and it was very refreshing and tasty and not super sugar-y as well, which meant it was made with real berries only. Highly recommend!

We visited today for late Breakfast. I had eggs florentine, and partner and daughter had full English. Great fresh cooked food, great service. Will be back again.

I discovered the utterly brilliant ‘Bites Cafe and Kitchen’ in Worthing, West Sussex, this Saturday afternoon. I had the All-Day Breakfast with added sausage, bacon, hash browns and hot buttered granary toast; which was AMAZING. The staff were so lovely, friendly, polite & very accommodating, there was a great atmosphere, & facilities were spotless (very important in my book). I would highly recommend it! Went to Bites cafe today only sitting outside allowed at present, but lovely to be able to go back there. It was good to have my regular cappuccino the best in Worthing.Its a clean well run cafe with very friendly staff. Looking forward to going back soon.

This was my 2nd visit this week. Absolutely wonderful, polite and friendly staff, can't do enough for you. Hot chocolate is delicious. Food lovely and freshly cooked. Menus are cleaned before being handed to you, so are the tables. Can't recommend them enough. Prices and portions are good too. Well worth a visit. Lots of gluten free options.

Popped down to see my family and found what we thought was a lovely little Cafe in the middle of town - How wrong could we have been!... The Dirty, tatty Menus we got given, if they were aiming for rustic they failed and barely scraped trampy!! After many years of abstinence my wife decided she would treat her herself to what was described to her by the managers as a moist, fresh, English Scone! What arrived was closer looking and tasting to a stale meteorite (I am a teaching geologist) so am in a position to make said comparison...I opted for A stack Beef Burger... YUM... but yum arrived more like BUM or at least tasted like it! It very modern and appeared to be two toned, One tone being beef.. The other being Mould:( Rest assured This was not eaten !! Moving on to the Two Lattes that we had ordered, There could not be an easier way to explain what They had made - Absolute S*** in a cup. VERY UNINPRESSED.Throughout my whole time spent at this Cafe, the only positive Reminder me and my Wife Had on Thursday were the two Young Lady's that were bringing out my food and everyone else's but apart from that, It was an absolute Disaster and I have never been more shocked at what we thought looked like a lovely cafe to what was the worst place I have Ever been to in My Life!And once we have re-mortgaged our house, we decided we will not be visiting Bites Cafe and Kitchen in Worthing Again.

I went in today and the cake was amazing, super scrummy! The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was amazing. They were so friendly! Had breakfast here with a friend - it wasn't too busy when we arrived so we could sit anywhere. Menus are on the table - not disposable ones but they could be cleaned after use. Only issue is you have to queue up to order still which can be a problem if it is busy. We both had the small breakfasts- cooked as requested and good value for money. Even stayed on for cake and hot chocolate after.

i had never been here before but I was looking for somewhere to eat that takes dogs. There is a pavement cafe so I thought they might be obliging, but they invited me to go inside. Wow, was I surprised. The young female waitress was so friendly and helpful as was the owner who was busy but found time to speak to all of his customers. I chose a small vegetarian breakfast - it was not small! And just £5. Everything was generous. I particularly liked the frothy cappuccino with a message beautifully written in chocolate - try it and see what you get.

A friend and I visited Worthing on 16 September and stopped at Bites Cafe for lunch. We both chose the Broccoli and Spinach quiche, and we both thought it was really delicious. We ate at a table outside as the weather was warm.

Stopped at Bites for a cycling breakfast. A mug of tea & scrambled eggs on toast later-fully refreshed. Friendly service as we enjoyed an al fresco break in the September sun. Companions also enjoyed their toasts & frothy coffees.

we were just passing on a visit to worthing and popped in for a bite to eat. We thought it would be a "greasy spoon" type place, however, we were very wrong! The staff were brilliant, very engaging without being intrusive. Attentive,Polite,friendly and helpful. The food was good and reasonably priced and the premises were spotless (including the loo's). The owner was out at front of house engaging with customers and was genuinely pleased to see people. Everyone was greeted with a welcoming smile. A refreshing stop in more ways than one. Would recommend a visit. We shall be returning the next time we visit worthing.

Today I tried the sausage, onion and mango panini for a change, very tasty. Good food.Good service.Spotlessly clean.Everything you need from a break from shopping.
