The best restaurants serving British food in Southampton South East

Absolutely divine. Top quality ingredients, put together perfectly. I had a Goats cheese, salad and Irish black butter, sourdough sandwich. Very good service too. You can also purchase the ingredients in house to make at home, which I did so!

For a small van this is the best in the city! Value for money is amazing and the food tastes great! The staff are excellent and very friendly.

Incredibly delicious food and great service! We had the beef stroganoff and the cheesecake. The portions are huge and the food was amazing. Will definitely be returning!

Mi esposo y yo reservamos una semana en la Isla de Wight y cuando mi esposo estaba haciendo la reserva del ferry con Wightlink, notó la opción Signature Lounge. Muy contento de haber ido por esto. Viajamos a principios de noviembre cuando hacía mal tiempo, de hecho, no sabíamos si el ferry iba a ser cancelado. Al momento de escribir esto, cuesta 10 adicionales por trayecto, lo que, si puede pagar un poco más, vale la pena. El salón es de primera clase con hermosos muebles, revistas y periódicos para leer. I absolutely love this little place. I come to Southampton every week (live in Gloucestershire) and always try to get a coffee at The Nest. It is quite simply the best cup of coffee ever! The staff are the loveliest people you can ever imagine too. Nothing is too much trouble, always kind, always smiling, always working too. They do a loyalty card too so every 10th cup is free. Extremely good prices too, for the best service and coffee = Just wonderful. Thank you.

Food - lunch specials traditional roasted turkey and eggs royale were GREAT, very satisfying! Very friendly cafe and I like the neighbourhood atmosphere very much. Definitely returning!

Food was absolutely delicious, Also shared a few puddings on this visit, The warm brownie was sensentational and the baklava was yummy. Always guaranteed an amazing meal. Lovely small restaurant with a casual atmosphere, perfect.

Great place, not only finally somewhere offering smaller portions at a reduced price as a lunch deal but also the best chips in Southampton hands down, warm, crispy on the outside and freshly cooked!

Went here for the first time and had a great experience! We were a large party of 20 and still had great service, amazing food and basically a whole upstairs floor to ourselves. The Ron Bourguignon was fantastic, highly recommend, and thank you to Megan, Anna, and Ollie for running up those stairs a million times for us, dashing out to get more oat milk for milkshakes, and feeding our starving book club members 🫡💛

Service was good, food was okay but steaks were tough, though were replaced. On the whole it's expensive, and paying £7 extra for surf and turf that consisted of half a prawn beggars belief.

The atmosphere was so good and the team who looked after us were delightfully friendly. We had fish which was superb! The wine was top just right and reasonable.
