Stopped here after a riverside walk with a friend, what a great find! Lovely friendly and helpful staff, good selection on the menu and extremely reasonable prices. I had a slice of Nigel's Lemon Cake , the best I have ever tasted. We will be sure to visit here again now that we have found it, lunch next time I fancy.

We broke our journey along an anonymous section of the M27 and by happy accident found ourselves at the Roundabout Cafe. You wouldn't know the motorway was there while enjoying their lovely Victoria sponge or a home made sausage roll. The cafe is fun and inviting with laptops to use and great wifi. They have lots of activities and the knowledgeable staff were able to tell us lots of interesting things about the local area. A great alternative to an identikit chain cafe.

Very nice local cafe with good food and a nice atmosphere. Very good value for money and the staff and volunteers are very pleasant. Nigel there is a real nice guy that tends to ramber most of his custmors that walk through the door and gives everyone a warm welcome. They also do nice home made cakes and take away with i find very handy. I Highley reckomend this cafe as its good quiltey, good value and very friendly.

This cafe has real community feel. It is volunteer lead which gives it even more of a wholesome feel. The volunteers are super friendly and helpful, and it almost feels like a second home when you sitting in there having a coffee and a chin wag. The food is amazing! All locally sourced and the coffees are cheaper than any of the high street coffee shops and they are just as good quality, if not better!

We visited Blue Island on our first ever evening in Southampton. It's kind of spoiled all future evenings in this city, because it is difficult to imagine a more enjoyable meal! We were drawn to the restaurant by the excellent reviews, its proximity to our Premier Inn, and our fancying Greek food. From the welcome on the phone and on arrival, to our departure two hours later, we were looked after like old friends. I'm sorry I don't have names, but the owners are so friendly and cheery, in addition to providing first-rate service. As with many previous diners, we chose the Meze Meal for Two. Fabulous value; delicious food! Really, there is little more to say, other than, we cannot recommend Blue Island too highly. Loved it! Thank you for giving us such a lovely evening/meal.

One of the best vegan pies I have ever tried! I had the Ron Bourginon. The vegan gravy was also really good. I also tried the vegan porky pie which was delicious. A hidden gem in Winchester, well worth a visit.

Having booked a show at the local theatre we researched and selected this restaurant in the main as it had a lovely menu and was walking distance to the hotel and theatre. Booked over the phone and the gentleman was lovely. We arrived and from the first moment to the last the service was great. We especially liked the chef / owner coming to each table to ask how the food and service was. The service stayed already was great and the food was lovely. Indeed my favourite bruschetta to date and I’ve been Italy a few times too. The pasta was terrific and puddings superb. Would we come back if we were in the area again absolutely. 💯
