Fantastic place, didn't have a chance to eat as I was running late to meet friends but the food looked 5* will be booking a table soon! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, managing to accommodate us on a Friday night. Atmosphere and decor were amazing and I honestly can't wait to go back again!

Simon was a delightful waiter, Jane served excellent hot food. The Moroccan Roll pie was a great new experience and the Easter lamb pie was positively received!

Very tasty vegan pies and vegan mash, but they need far more vegan options.

Very filling and great value for money! The service was great but was a very quiet time so can’t judge it fully. I found that the pie pastry was too much for me and quite dry and the mash wasnt that creamy. Overall for the price I can’t complain and the vast variety of pie options is really intruiging to see! For drinks I can definately recommend the hot chocolates, soecifically the dark one was very nice and a unique way of serving it!

I went to Piecaramba with some friends. I had a cracking pie (Holy Cow!) with mustard mash and chilli minted mushy peas (and onion gravy!) I would recommend adding the “Pie & Mighty” to your pie for crispy shallots and cheddar makes for a cracking pie topper. TIP: Definitely book a table for folk were being turned away! A must visit

The décor is great and it's a cosy little place, but the pies were dry and the watery gravy didn't help. The mash portion is small but you get plenty of mushy peas or baked beans.

Delicious pies! Place is nice and has outdoor seating, staff are friendly and welcoming. I wish the mash portions were bigger though, but maybe I'm just a pig because I normally have a mountain of it. However, having room left, I also tried their desserts, which are equally delicious 😋

Called to check availability arrived only to be told most if advertised menu was unavailable absolute dissapontment first and last time

Gone down hill since our last visit dramatically! Slow service, one person on his own. After waiting nearly an hour, our pies were out in front of us they went off to get cutlery, it was torture waiting for the necessary tools to eat the food we had been waiting so long for. If you street park you will need more than an hour. We got back to a ticket. Bad times.

This place deserves a couple extra stars for atmosphere! I was hit with nostalgia upon stepping foot inside the restaurant and great effort was put into all the decorative details. Now onto the food: pies were phenomenal both in presentation and taste. We ordered the Pieoneer, Bounty Hunters Chicken, chick chick shroom and hen party. All of them were great though Bounty Hunters barbecue sauce made this pie extra tasty! The gravy was phenomenal as well, went amazing with the cheesy mash and mushy peas. We were stuffed by the end and unfortunately had to skip dessert which was a real shame as the mon cherry sounded phenomenal! Will have to return again the the near future hopefully.

What a fantastic idea just not fully realised. Its menu could do with a bit more variety, but the pie was delicious as was the mash and mushy peas. The mash was perfect consistency, the mush peas not too mushy and added flavour than just plain peas. The only downside was the service was very slow, and the facilities needed modernization.

It took a very long time to receive drinks and found out last minute that they did not have the drink I requested. However the pie meal definitely made up for it! Great portions and very well cooked.

Amazing experience with beautiful decorations and tasty pies

Recommended by friends but shocked we didn't know it was there, really had a great lunch at a fair price given the quality of the pie, mash, mushy peas & gravy. On entering we were greeted by a smiling young lady ('Hannah') who was as laid back & cool as the venue itself & immensely competent. Just can't fault the place & can't fault good old Pie & Mash but they do have a few edgy choices if more adventurous than my beef filled pie. Couldn't of wanted for a better lunch experience & thank you to all staff as of course there were others we didn't see.

Well themed restaurant with friendly staff. The food was really good. Only thing of note was the ambient temperature upstairs was way too hot. Prices were very reasonable for the portions.

Had the opportunity to sample some free Pie and Mash today from Piecaramba. I had the steak and ale pie, and it was the best pie I’ve had. I will be going back for more with my mates.

Novel but basically a pie and mash shop with hipster additions. My pie was tasty but suspiciously chill in the middle.

Booked a table for 11. Accommodated is no problem with access for my friend (his birthday) in a wheelchair. After making the booking, a problem occurred, my friends dietary needs meant that actually he couldn’t eat the pies. Well, Phil the owner stepped up when I asked if he could cook something completely off the menu. Phil went above and beyond and cooked my friend the food he wanted. We all had a brilliant time. The food is great and at exceptional value. Great fun. Thank you to all the staff. Would recommend.

We’re from America and this place was amazing! We loved the various pies. They were so good!! We also loved the ambience and all the decorations in the store - including a set up Super Nintendo at a table!

I was eating at this gorgeous gem of a shop, the decoration is second to none. I love the themes and was served by a lovely waiter called Arthur. 5 star service and was very welcoming. Would eat here again!

That was an amazing English brunch breakfast . Everything in pies 🥮!! I took the traditional one as it was my first time with that kind of breakfast but all the options seemed tasty 🤤! Sided with cheesy mashed potatoes (it had 3 other options) and chilly mint semi-mashed peas (beans as an alternative) and a white gravy (2 options here). Absolutely delicious and gets you full 100% !! Very friendly and helpful stuff with a carefree atmosphere... Also had some old arcade games (mario cart) in some tables to pass time or keep the kids occupied🎮🕹️ .

Great little restaurant. Really tasty pies. Easy ordering. Lots of veggie, vegan and Gluten Free options. Retro decoration theme works really well. Great Value. Seemingly always busy, so book ahead. My only complaint is having a Veggie dish called 'Porky Pie'.

Don’t be fooled by the simple exterior! A cool restaurant with very friendly staff. I love how they have designed their interior and set the place out. I had the blue steel pie which was rich, with tender pieces of beef steak, and perfectly cooked pastry. The cheesy mash was creamy and I have no complaints. The mushy peas I especially enjoyed, with their unique chilli tang, it added variety to my meal! Lastly, the gravy was just how I like it, not too “watery”, but thick with flavor! Overall, an awesome experience and tasty food. A well deserved review! I would recommend going with family or some trendy friends.

I'd heard about this place but never tried. So when I googled places to eat today, piecaramba came up so decided to try.! I'm so glad I came. I will definitely come back soon too! We need more places like this. Totally unique, the staff are so genuinely friendly and polite too. Very rare these days.! Food was spot on! Absolutely delicious!

I have eaten here time and time again and Piecaramba never fails to disappoint. The restaurant has a unique comic book atmosphere, the food is always delicious and very well priced.

I tried your pie yesterday as I did last year and didn't like. it cold .and the so called mash and a teaspoon of beans its not got any better .I really don't know how you manage to sale them.

Food amazing!! Value amazing! Highly reccomend picaramba!! If you are brave or have a very big appetite go for the challenge.

The name and great reviews draw me in. Friendly efficient staff, served a piping hot Pie and Mash meal. Great comfort food. Loved the spiced mint mushy peas, and the big selection of pie fillings. We will return to try further flavours. Would love to see a horseradish mash potato on the menu.

The service can be very slow sometimes even when they aren't busy. Ordered drinks and they forgot had to remind them. Food was ok but pies seem less nice than they used to. Not sure if they have changed suppliers or not but last experience wasn't good as before. Decent price however for a meal out so can't moan too much 😃. Still enjoyable but has been better before.

Best pie I ever had! Perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Had the chicken, bacon and bbq one and it was really good, I would definitely suggest ordering this one. Staff is very friendly and they serve you very fast. Thanks for the lovely experience

Great food, very tasty. The restaurant kind of lacks any atmosphere and the chairs are very uncomfortable. I was sat opposite the kitchen doors which were wide open and I could see a young girl with long hair not tied up mashing the mash in a plastic jug! Earlier another waitress carried a bundle full of pies down from upstairs with her bare hands. Neither looked like they wanted to be there, but that may be because delivery drivers were in and out regularly picking up orders! The food, I could not fault.

Went on 19th, a group of 5 of us. Great selection of pies eapeically being veggie I had loads to chose from. Went for something I didn't have before there and loved it. Mac to the future pie was so nice. Everyone in my group enjoyed what they had, waitress was friendly and helped us when we needed it. Will be back for sure.

We visited Piecaramba as we had read such good reviews on trip advisor.Both pies we had were very nice.Bit disappointed with the tiny amount of mash we were given.we visited late on Sunday afternoon.

Best pies and mash, great place to go

First time here and it didn't disappoint. Lots of pie choices and good kids menu. I opted for the pioneer with classic mash it was Lush so was the Gravy. My son had a kids meal but with adult mash. The shop (restaurant)its self is 80s themed films, lots to look at, a star wars themed toilet was amazing. The tables had Snes 1 where the boys all played between food, kept them amused while the mums talked. Reasonable prices and I'm still full. If you want somewhere different and tasty this is your place, we highly recommend. We will be back 🤗

If you are any type of nerd, it's a must see. It's a cool place! The longer you look around, the more you see! The music is relaxed and the meat pies are great and filling.

Wow!!! What an absolute gem of a place! Food, drinks, decor, staff, prices and activities were all amazing. So many small touches such as the fire extinguisher scuba diver (when you know, you know). Genuinely the best food for even better prices… in today’s world that is extremely hard to find. Keep up the good work guys.

Brilliant spot! It's super small but feels so welcoming with a great vibe. The pies are consistently great everytime I've been and the gravy is free flowing - what more could you want? The portions are very generous and the price is exceptionally fair. I highly recommend! Special mention to the quirky memorabilia and old school games!

Geeky downstairs which had me smiling and feeling right at home. Loved the bathroom geeky vibe too. The pie was scrumptious, pastry just right, feeling tasty, gravy yummy - would certainly recommend. Only negative was l felt we were a little bit forgotten upstairs and food arrived a bit erratically also my topping on my pie never showed up.... still worth going to !

The service was poor, we waited for 30 minutes for someone to take our order even though there were only 3 tables in that night. We were hoping the food would at least make up for it, well it didn't. We could hear the staff discussing how long they need to microwave the food for which wasn't a good start. The food we recieved was dry and the pastry was closer to a biscuit than actual pie. The food hadn't even been cooked long enough to melt the cheese. Finally, the moment we finished our food the server asked us if we wanted to pay. We still had the majority of our drinks so said we'll finish them then pay and didn't think this was unreasonableas it was still 45 mins from closing time and we had been there less than an hour. Aparently this wasn't good enough as she came back 2 seconds later with the card machine. All in all this place had less life in it than my mum, and she's been dead for 3 years.

Solid reliable place to eat. I either meet up with family or pop in on my own to work from my laptop and enjoy the Bounty Hunter with an alcoholic slushy. Definitely recommend the mixed slushy with ameretto....

Very disappointed. I've made the mistake to believe the hype about this place. I love a good pie and I was excited to try a local place after hearing about the Winchester location. My expectations were too high however. We waited almost 30 minutes for our order to be taken because the front desk/only waitress was helping the only other staff member in the kitchen. The drinks and food arrived soon after. The beef pie was okay, not much to go wrong with microwaved frozen pies but the lamb one was so dry, it was basically sawdust. The reason I felt the need to leave this review was that despite us waiting for 40 minutes for the food and drinks and finishing everything in less than 10, the waitress approached us immediately to get us to pay. We refused at first, we hadn't even gone through half of our drinks and she said we can take our time. She came back 2 minutes later with the card machine asking how we're paying. I've never felt so forced to leave a restaurant by someone who was clearly hoping for an early night. Whoever is managing this place is at fault here, hiring two 20 year olds to run the restaurant by themselves is just a bad idea in general. Tl;dr: Just buy a frozen pie from Iceland and then purposefully wait 40 mins to eat it. It'll be the same experience but cheaper.

A good variety of British pies with a retro theme. The food was very filling and the prices were good for the quality of service. Would definitely recommend it as a place to dine with friends.
