Very easy to review this cafe, food was great, service was great if you're in the area and fancy a home made full English you don't need to look any further... really can't fault it...

went for a family breakfast and it was amazing Really quick to take your order and the food came out really quick and really hot It was also brilliant value for money Will defently be visiting again

We visited Miss Ellie's Cafe for breakfast and it was abs great. A good hearty English breakfast at a brilliant price. Great, friendly chef and waiters. I would highly recommend.

Este es un pequeño restaurante que sirve el típico inglés completo y sándwiches / baguettes, además de un par de platos principales. Personal muy complaciente. Pero es normal. Estábamos visitando Southampton para el día que necesitábamos repostar después de un largo viaje en coche y únicamente debido a las críticas aquí, elegimos este lugar pensando que debía ser algo especial. Mi esposo quería irse de inmediato, simplemente no era lo que esperábamos. La comida está bien, un poco sosa. El personal es muy agradable y tiene una buena relación calidad-precio, pero no vale la pena salir de su camino.

Este es, de lejos, nuestro café favorito en todo Southampton, la comida está recién hecha a pedido y muy sabrosa, Stewart, el chef, se encargará de satisfacer sus necesidades alimentarias, si no quiere algo en su desayuno, eso está bien con él. Vale la pena llamarlo para reservar una mesa, solo para estar seguro, vale la pena visitarlo si se encuentra en el área de Southampton.

Always love visiting here for a breakfast even a Jacket potato takeaway too. Always good value for money and the staff and Owners are so friendly. So many different choices of food and drink. Will definitely recommend.

The guy who cooks the food is a true professional his presentation is always first class. Service is always efficient and friendly.The cafe is always clean and tidy.place is always popular,so maybe a short delay,but it’s worth the wait.Best value for money in the town.

Como soy un verdadero vegetariano y definitivamente no quiero comer cosas diseñadas para emular carne, la camarera accedió amablemente a prepararme un té con crema, aunque no está en el menú para esa hora del día.Este es un establecimiento de comida básica barato y alegre, así que no me sorprendió estar comiendo un bollo de un paquete, si soy sincero, pero había mucha crema y mermelada, una hermosa tetera con una jarra de leche. This was a pleasant surprise. Looking for some good food in the vicinity of the university, we (4 family members) booked just 30-45 min before arriving. All dishes are very well presented. Service is not professional but very good and very friendly. Quality is well above average and variety is impressive for such small place. Price was very good (£35 for 4 main dishes, 2 desserts and 4 soft drinks).

Four of us went for breakfast, scummy breakfast, and very friendly staff. It was excellent value, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to alter things we didn't like, e.g. mushrooms, and were able to swap for another item. Overall, very good value, and we have been back since.

Stumbled across this little gem while out walking with the dog. Fabulous little place, the owners & staff were so welcoming & friendly! Our four legged friend was made very welcome too! The food was home cooked and delicious! My husband had the curry had you been served this in a restaurant of an evening you would be very pleased! All homemade and generous amounts of meat, I had the fish cakes which again was both tasty and well presented. Value for money and quality of food, I don’t think you could beat it. Will definitely return to sample the Sunday roast.

Today I visited Miss Ellie's cafe lovely little cafe friendly staff and owner Stewart. Went to breakfast there it was scrambled egg on toast and 2 hash browns it was so yummy...nice and clean to . Will definitely be going back there

Very crowded but service and food good.I was disappointed overall as this place had been recommended to me and did not live up to my expectations. I thought there would be more room and felt quite crammed in.

Great...Great...Great! We visited Miss Ellie’s Cafe after a friend recommended it to me and what can I say the food is absolutely brilliant, tasty and hot and served with a smile! Nothing was too much trouble and the atmosphere of this place was wonderful! We will definitely be back to this little gem of a place soon.

We visited here after reading reviews on tripadvisor and weren’t disappointed ! I had the open panini with chorizo, bacon , poached eggs and hollandaise sauce which was delicious and Hubby had the full English breakfast, huge and delicious also! We left very full and will definitely go back for the same and try the specials board for lunch ...

I visited Miss Ellie’s Café for the first time recently & was impressed by the friendly atmosphere and warm welcome.The menu had enough choices to give many appealing options but not so many that it could not all be freshly cooked.I had sausages, mash & vegetables. When it arrived the presentation was impressive, the quantity rather generous, to say the least and the food excellent.The sausages were succulent, meaty and tasty - unlike some where the cereal content makes it questionable whether they should be served with mustard or marmalade.

Visited this cosy cafe last week whilst my car was in the garage and had a full breakfast with the best bubble and sqeak around! And well it was simply delicious, for £5.45 including tea or coffee the quilty was outstanding! This little diamond does really bring a community together many families and regulars enjoying their meals which looked scrumptious! The staff are also super friendly and I was served by the Miss Ellie herself and she was a little gem! I can’t wait to go back with the family already booked for the Sunday roast.

Visited this beautiful little cafe last Saturday with the family and what can I say absolutely fabulous! Staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food ... Oh my goodness the full breakfast is mouth watering! My husband had the rump steak (the best rump steak he had tasted) chips, onion rings, peas and tomato which was only £6 and the quality was amazing. We will definitely be coming back to this little gem when we are next in the area! Go for a visit you will not be disappointed!

The staff are lovely, the food is yummy & the prices are pocket pleasing. Try their home cooking, You'll become a regular like me :-)

Had seen this cafe before but had never been in, my partner had seen a review on Facebook and told me about it, so we agreed that we would give it a go, We went in and were greeted with a warm welcome and then found a table and had a look at the menu, my partner had a Bacon and Sausage sandwich and I went with a full english and the breakfast was really nice and I have to say that we will be coming back

With prices like these it's not worth cooking at home. Just pop across to Miss Ellie's and have a really nice breakfast and a cuppa. Friendly local cafe with roast dinners too. Caters for veggies. Tables outside for the good weather.

Just had our first visit to Miss Ellie’s for breakfast and it was absolutely brilliant!! I had a “lite” breakfast which was generous, piping hot and absolutely lovely and my husband had the Full breakfast with extra black pudding, he said it was the best breakfast he has ever had (and we do like to go out for breakfast at the weekend!). Lovely little cafe, very friendly family staff and fabulous food, we will return! Thank you to the owner.

I stopped by the Mis Ellie Cafe this morning before visiting the Solent Sky Aviation Museum in Southampton. I ordered the full English Breakfast. It was excellent...very well prepared and generous portions. Service was very friendly and responsive.

Gathering of the clan for Easter and booked a Sunday lunch for 8 here having previously sampled their excellent breakfasts. Received the warmest of welcomes, nothing too much trouble and everyone enjoyed roast lamb with all, and I do mean ALL, the trimmings. The 2 piggies in the group somehow managed to order and eat puddings, which also got the thumbs up.

My son and I stopped here for a spot of lunch today as we were out on a bike ride. The food was lovely and the service was fantastic... would highly recommend.

Ihave eaten here on three occassions and each time the food is home made and lovely. The staff are very accomodating, welcoming and the fact that it is a little small everyone talks to each other even if they don't know them.

Found this café on recommendations on Trip Advisor. Glad I followed up. Clean, friendly and good food. Will visit again.

I’ve eaten at Miss Ellie’s probably about twenty times now and I’ve not had one bad experience.

I’ve had a few fry ups in here and it’s the best that can be had and for a reasonable price. Perfect start for a big day.

Came here this morning quite by chance whilst my car was having an mot . Glad I did . Warm welcome , top quality breakfast and great service . The menu looks good as well so can’t wait to come back and sample those too. Nothing too much trouble either . Highly recommend this lovely cafe !

This place is simply great! The food is fantastic, freshly and lovingly prepared to order. The portions are generous and the service from Stewart and the girls is exemplary. Tasty breakfast menu and a good choice of lunch options, the couple who owns the cafe are very friendly and it’s very rare you get table service in a cafe, would recommend anyone to try this place, excellent value too.

Came back for the first time in ages. Just as good as when we were regulars. Went for the Chicken Aloo Curry, wasn't disappointed at all. Lovely.

This place is certainly busy and we were made welcome especially by the chef behind the counter. We were told that the wait for breakfast was 20-30 minutes which was perfectly okay for us. We both had a breakfast with a few additions. The breakfast was tasty, nicely cooked and generous. We will be back, the price being half that of our "basic brand hotels breakfast" and here it is freshly prepared not buffet style. As we left the chef again was chatty and he certainly brings the place together as a friendly place to eat.

I stopped here while visiting Southampton on holiday from Ireland. An amazing river walk followed by an all day breakfast served by a very cheerful chef and his friendly staff. Hope to get another visit back in soon

Miss Ellie's Cafe gets good reviews and for a good reason. The food options are a bit basic but given it's a cafe I suppose it's what you would expect, that said the food quality was excellent. Being vegetarian there were only two meal options available (other than sandwiches/baps/panini's) which were a cooked breakfast or a 3 cheese ploughman. We opted for the cooked breakfast which was delicious and very filling, included a free tea or coffee and only cost £3.95. I saw other patrons eating various meals, all of which looked also looked very tasty and I would have been tempted to the Sunday Roast if I ate meat! The service was excellent as well, all staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely visit again :-)

This tiny cafe serves up excellent breakfasts that are very inexpensive but large and very tasty. We always make a point of making a trip to get breakfast here when we are in the Southampton area. The chef Stuart cooks everything behind the counter and takes real pride in the presentation. A true gem!!!

Walked along the river on a sunny morning, decided to try Miss Ellie's for Sunday breakfast. Friendly welcome, breakfast menu pointed out and such good value, big mug of tea included, and a tasty breakfast served. The "boss" came to have a chat with us, telling us of the eating options apart from brekkie, including Sunday lunch, best to book as very popular. The Triangle has loads to offer and Miss Ellie's stands out.

We enjoyed a beautiful Mother's Day roast today at Miss Ellie's and we could not have wished for more. The meals were relish with a choice of meat and a vegetarian option for me. The portion size was generous and all the veg was fresh. The presentation was brilliant so much so it felt a shame to eat it. We then had a lovely pudding and a complimentary cupcake for the mums. The atmosphere was lovely and the owner along with the staff were friendly and helpful. For 2 courses and a couple of drinks the price could not be beaten. Thank you for having us xx

Found this cafe approx a year ago.Every meal is delicious and well presented.You can see that the Chef takes great care in producing a meal that his customers will enjoy. A different selection of meals,as well as the old favourite breakfasts.

Popped into here half way through a run with my girlfriend. I must say it was one of the best fried breakfasts I've ever had! It's very clean and the two owners are lovely. Will definitely be coming back!

A friendly welcome as we came in, care taken in cooking our orders and wonderful service ... we are very pleased we'd stopped for breakfast at Miss Ellie's!. Two great cooked breakfasts with coffee for under a tenner is outstanding. The coffee is every bit as good, and customised, as the usual leading outlets but conjured up with less fuss.

Always made and feel welcomed by the Staff and the Roast Lunch is good every time I visit. A good selection of other Home Cooled Food as well Breakfasts.

Lovely cafe in Bitterne Triangle. Have visited on three occasions for breakfast or lunch, and each time food has been spot on - freshly cooked and a great menu range, with normal menu plus weekly specials. Service and price are brilliant, would recommend to anyone - a local gem. Riverside Park is just across the road, so you can walk off your meal afterwards!

Only popped in for a coffee, it was the best takeaway latte iv had! I didn't eat in here but if I do I'm sure it will be as good as the coffee! Friendly staff too!
