Pretty nice pub but extremely overpriced. Had a chalkboard on the wall with “pub bites” which were priced at £6.50 or 3 for £16.50. Me and my friend ordered latice fries, warm bread and olives and mango prawns. However we were disappointed when they brought out the food and it was a tiny bowl of store bought tasting olives, 3 tiny prawns, and a small bowl of normal chips. When we asked about the bread we were told by the waiter that it didn’t come with bread. So spent £25 on 2 drinks and 3 tiny bowls of supermarket frozen bites. So if you come here I would recommend to either just get a full lunch which may be worth your money, or to just get a drink.

Places like this really frustrate me!.. the food was excellent!.. cake was superb, tea was fantastic, big pot, two t-bags, piping hot, however the decor and cleanliness really leave a lot to be desired!!.. it requires a good lick of paint and the whole place needs a thorough dusting!!..

Ran out of Bailey's by 7.30pm on a Saturday night in December - no decent establishment would let that happen especially when a private function booked.

This was a birthday treat from my wife , it’s a combination of quaint with some modern additions in terms of the rooms and obviously the place still needs some attention but was welcoming enough as we were only staying for the night . Food wise the menu is decent enough , the mains , desserts and breakfast were of good quality . The atmosphere was warm , welcoming and quite steady with patrons , some with dogs .

Sunday Lunch for Mum's Birthday Lovely atmosphere in the pub/restaurant as you enter a lovely open fire going. The whole team were very welcoming and our waitress was lovely, taking orders and ensuring we had everything we needed. Mum had her white wine on the house which was a lovely touch Starters arrived promptly and were clearly freshly cooked the tempura prawns and whitebait hit delicious. For mains 3 of us had slow cooked brisket of beef with all the trimmings, the meat just fell apart and was so succulent, the roasted potato's were crunchy and then fluffy inside the seasonal veg were perfection!! Absolute top class food beautiful surroundings and atmosphere

Came for a meal with children and a family friend shortly after they started serving food (5:45pm) and pub seemed mostly empty at the time. Was told food would be about 20-30 minutes and instead it took 30minutes for 2 small starters (even hot 1 wrong…) and 90 minutes to get our mains. The food ordered was nothing special and as basic as it gets! Not once we were told of this long delay nor even ever received an apology when paying the bill! Kids were starving and unhappy to wait that long. All they had to do was be honest and give us realistic expectations as we would have gone elsewhere. Simply unbelievable how can a food business call themselves so with such arrogant attitudes! Shame on you for ruining what should have been a pleasant family outing
