Meal was lovely, good prices and service excellent with very pleasant staff . The atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyable.

Good atmosphere and as ever good food at a reasonable price. The menu is aways interesting with good beers and very efficient staff

We treated a good friend to Sunday Lunch and were not disappointed. The roast dinners arrived fairly quickly from taking our order. The food was hot, delicious and plenty. The desserts were scrummy. Will definitely be back.

We had an excellent two course meal with a nice bottle of wine. The food was excellent, the servings were generous and, with a traditional feel. The pub was busy which made a really nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Had lunch with 2 friends, one of which had limited mobility, The Swan was perfect as they seated us in a section on one level where they removed the spare chair to accommodate her walker. The food was fantastic especially the Crab Ravioli I had as a starter, I would ask for it as a main course next time!

One of our occasional trips to Olney with our obligatory stop for lunch at the Swan. Food service and price all excellent. There was a coach party in at the same time as us and we were thoughtfully given a table away from the hubbub. Touches like that make us return each time. Well done to all,

We had arranged to meet a family member who lives local in the town for lunch and The Swan was chosen. Apparently this establishment is normally very busy but it seemed not today but there was a food fair on in the town. We ordered our drinks then our food ,my cousin recommended the Haddock so we had two haddock and one sea bass. The food was well presented and tasted just as good . The staff were very good and pleasant and well priced for the area .

The Swan has transformed since my last visit, admittedly decades ago. A great community social hub, I was asked to join in with two user groups! Maybe I will next time. Friendly helpful, if busy team. That on a Wednesday too. Not over crowded, just right. Great daily specials too, and good choice of fine ales. Ok they sell lager too .....and fancy gin. My tipple? Guinness Zero and Ghost Ship 0.5%, driving.

Went for steak night Wednesday. It was very busy, so booking probably recommended! £16 for a steak & a drink so good value. The only strange thing was paying. You had to go to the restaurant desk to pay, but the bar for your free drink. Not a problem, just strange 🤔 Overall, a lovely night, with attentative staff. 😁

Fantastic food and fantastic service! We visited last year for our sons birthday and he enjoyed it so much he wanted to go again this year for his 18th. He’s vegetarian, so always a little difficult to find somewhere local that he can really enjoy the food. Added to that, the service is amazing. Staff really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

I booked this venue for dinner for two of us, following a show at the Milton Keynes Theatre, and although we were early, we were made welcome and had a drink prior to ordering. My partner and I both had a starter, Prawn Cocktail, and Gyozas followed by Liver and Pancetta etc, and I had Sea Bass. All good, nice vegetable to accompany the meals, however the sea bass was a little dry, a bit over cooked. However I did eat it all. We both agreed it was a nice place to stop but it got very busy, but it was Saturday evening. I would certainly go again.

My husband and I came last week and had a delicious 2 course meal. Both courses were amazing... we'll be back. Have eaten here many times with family on special occasions. The staff are so friendly and efficient. Well done to them all.

A lovely old English village pub. Our party of 5 all chose different meals but everything was very well cooked, reasonably priced and the service was friendly and efficient. A good selection of real ale too!

Another great meal at The Swan! It was busy due to Father’s Day but the service was still outstanding, friendly and not at all rushed. Food was so good, love it!

Came for a Good Friday dinner and we weren’t disappointed. The staff were attentive and the food was excellent. We did have to wait a while to receive our drinks, but it certainly didn’t spoil our evening. The prices were also fair, and were good value. Would definitely go back.

Had a very good lunch here on a very wet Thursday, market day! We ate from the February fixed-price menu as each course offered something that we really wanted to eat. We weren't disappointed! It was a special occasion for us and as we'd had to cancel our original plans due to health issues, lunch at The Swan Bistro made our day. We had requested a nice table and were placed on a perfect table with plenty of space in front of a window. The food was excellent value and the ambience was perfect. We would thoroughly recommend and we will return.

The Swan is my local so a fairly regular customer! Most recently I was there for lunch a couple of days ago. We only wanted a light lunch so as soon as I saw my favourite devilled kidneys was on the menu, it was a no brainer! They are sublime and must be tried! I didn’t intend having a pudding but when I saw treacle tart was on there was no question. With a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream (I declined the custard as well) it was delicious.

Lovely ambiance in nice surroundings in a lovely little town. I have now eaten here twice, one for a midweek business lunch and then returned with my wife for a Sunday roast and will come again. Service impressively attentive at a busy time. Food enjoyable but a little let down by the veg. However, the Sunday roast choice is impressive (different meat choices) and my wife who had the pork and me, who had beef, were impressed by the quality, cooking & portion size, which we felt was better than other local competing restaurants offering similar fare. Sunday lunchtime quite noisy lots of bustle, but a full restaurant showed it is well liked venue.

Absolutely lovely little pub and we had the best meals. I had the halloumi burger which was absolutely scrummy. My only bug bear is having an optional service charge adding to the bill. I prefer to pay my own tip.

Went to meet up with an ex work colleague as this was local to him. It was extremely busy (Rugby World Cup was on) but we still managed to get served reasonably easy by what were a very friendly team of bar staff. Decent selection of lagers, ciders and ales meant we stayed a good few hours. Pub garden was also a decent size and under cover - good because it was a very cold day for the time of year with the odd shower. Would go again.
