The best restaurants serving British food in Eastbourne South East

Did not seem to be enough staff, although just opened. Was told coffee would be a while because of a problem with the "machine". Found out that this was not proper Barista made coffee, although the prices did not reflect that. Staff friendly enough, but was not impressed.

Really enjoyable stay. Lovely warm spacious room with comfy beds and good food. The hotel appeared in good decorative order throughout. The hotel is positioned nearly opposite the pier and not too far from town

Went for Sunday Lunch and Flippin eck. What a Sunday roast it was.! A really good sized portion of meat, veg and all that, except stuffing. But to be honest I didn't miss it as the roast was so damn tasty. Seriously. It was the Best pub roast I've ever eaten.. Taking the Fam next Sunday if I can book a table. I wanna try the beef. Bloody good food, really nice server's. Thanks ladies. 5 stars...

The pizza was not even edible. I have never tasted anything so revolting. I called to complain and the person that answered just told me the boss wasn’t there and hung up. I can see that getting a refund isn’t going to be easy either. I now have hungry kids and have had to order elsewhere. Honestly do not order from here if you want to actually eat it

Just reopened, after a refurbishment. Although pretty dire, beforehand, we thought we'd give it another try, as we live in North Harbour. I'm pleased to say we all thought it pretty good. It all looked very good and comfortable. We were seated pretty quickly. Our waitress, Sam, came and took our order promptly and was nice and friendly. Our food arrived quite quickly. My guests both had a bacon, egg and sausage breakfast bun and I had Eggs Benedict. All the eggs were nicely cooked, as was the bacon and the sausages were good quality and tasty. An Americano, flat white and espresso coffee were also good. All in all, we were impressed and will definitely go again. I hope they can keep this quality going.

What a dump, sticky tables dirty toilets, no atmosphere go upstairs and get a warm welcome and a decent beer, go here and you will regret it for sure

Owner lied about what pizza he does. He told us it was the same as the photos on just eat and what a silly lie that was. He then went on to take the payment first. As i turned up to the restaurant i collected the pizzas and opened the boxes and they looked nothing a like the pizzas we were told that we ordered. I then respectfully asked for a refund as not only did he make the wrong pizzas he lied. He then went on to be aggressive and rude by demanding theyre not different and if it is becasue “the basil isnt on top”. He is a rude old man who is a liar and im warning all of you to not order anything from there!!! Photos to follow: Do not order from here. Honestly the one star rating is generous

We only had chips so can not comment on any else but they wee soggy and the oil definitely needs changing as the chips were covered in black bits! Won't be going back!

Me and my dad went there to have some breakfast. We both had full breakfasts but I had mine with chips which I really liked. It was an awesome day.

Traté de encontrar una mesa en un pub cercano pero estaba lleno. Este lugar tenía todas las mesas vacías. . . Eso debería haber sido una advertencia. Tengo la impresión de que el personal era nuevo y / o totalmente inexperto. Pescado y patatas fritas anunciados en el exterior @ 6. 90 (con una bebida). . . aunque había una pequeña letra pequeña, así que no nos molestamos en preguntar cuándo nos cobraron 8. 95 sin bebida. La comida era pasable. En definitiva muy poco valor.
