On the 25.1.25 we went out are fried got sexual assault by someone in the bar and the door men ask her to leave, so now she wants to take this further, as the door men didn’t do anything to the man when this happened to her

We went for one of the midweek roast events and what a disappointment it was. There was a very lukewarm welcome when we arrived and we were directed to the table with a point of the finger. The food was served quickly and just plonked in front of us. There was no asking what we’d pre-ordered so two of us got the wrong meals. This was rectified when we told them. It was hot but was very mediocre. I think my lamb died of old age. I couldn’t cut it, it was that tough. The potatoes were OK, the peas were peas that had once been frozen, carrots overcooked, the gravy was like water, the parsnips were OK and the saving grace was the cheese sauce on the cauliflower/brocolli. The Apple crumble was nice but again just plonked in front of us. The custard was lumpy. How much was all of this? It was a whopping £25 a head without so much as a jug of water on the table. It was daylight robbery. We wont be back.

We are hosting a charity event and popped into Feed Me Seymour to see if they would support by providing a raffle prize for the event. They were really lovely and accomodating and happily donated a voucher for free breakfasts. There were customers in the premises, and the food smelled amazing. Unfortunately we couldn't stop this time but we will definitely be going back for a breakfast in the very near future. Thank you both for your support!

This pug has a comfortable ambience, great staff and a good selection of food on the menu. As a four we come about 4/5 times a year to catch up and the Seven Stars provides a wonderful option where we are well looked after and not rushed. The menu is extensive and after coming here for a number of years we have yet to find an option which is less than really good. The drink selection is, as you would expect from a country pub, wide-ranging including a few local brewery options and low and no alcohol options. The restaurant foot print is big but when booking for special events, like valentines, and in the evening, is advisable. The car park is big and well laid out and if you are coming from the east and miss the entrance(I often do) there is a second entrance just abut 100 metres further on. Enjoy!

An impromptu visit with friends last, so we hadn't booked. However the team were able to accommodate us, amidst all the Christmas bookings. We enjoyed two pizzas, on a 2 for £22 offer. Normally my friend and I don't usually finish a pizza to ourselves, but we did last night, washed down with a number of gins! To add to the Christmas Party spirit we enjoyed the music from Michelle Lewis, who we understand has played at Victorious! Good fun was had by all!

I just felt the need today to write a review about The George after a visit last night with friends. There were eight of us coming together for a Christmas meal. Everything about the evening was fabulous, the staff were friendly and professional. The food was amazing and of a very high standard, especially for a Christmas set menu! It was all served on time and piping hot and we all commented on the quality of everything we ate. Thank you to everyone concerned.

Outstanding first class service, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Harry went above and beyond and we were and are really grateful especially given the reason for our stay. When needing a room in Petersfield, we have no reason not to stay here again, 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Thank you to all the staff that worked during our stay xx

Went for the carvery with my family for my birthday and was very dissapointed. Roast potatoes were overcooked and very hard, the gravy was like water. Vegetables were Ok and the meat but will not go there again as very poorly cooked food.

Given that the food within Country Market itself – the butcher, the cheese counter and the vegetables are all wonderful this could have been fabulous - However, apparently this cafe has nothing to do with country market at all. My salad (at over £7) was iceberg lettuce, 2 tasteless tomato's chopped into quarters, and about eight slices of cucumber. And the chicken was extraordinary! It had been cut into square sided wedges like chips and had clearly been cooked and then frozen. It was very cold, watery and the first couple of pieces tasted a bit like fish. Suffice it to say that I left the majority of the quite generous portion. When I ordered I was offered by the wonderful staff to have either mayonnaise or have it as coronation chicken – I suspect that was to hide the reality of the meat (if you can call it that) itself. They have no salad dressing. You can only have mayonnaise or salad cream – unless you want to put the malt vinegar they use for the chips on your salad. Olive oil does not exist and apparently they only use vegetable oil in the kitchen The redeeming feature was the coleslaw which was absolutely lovely – as were the staff. The cakes looked great and the people in there seemed quite happy with their coffee. They don't actually have a salad on the menu so I suspect they normally put the chicken in a baked potato or a sandwich but for those people who can't eat grains a salad was the only option. I was grateful that they made it for me however I think cheese might have been a safer bet! I was so stunned by how truly terrible it was that I didn't even manage to take a photograph – very remiss or you would've seen the state of the chicken! I was sorely disappointed – it was one of the worst meals I've ever eaten. I would've done better to have gone into the shop and bought an avocado, a couple of tomatoes and a piece of cheese! I know for next time!!
