The best restaurants serving British food in Westgate Canterbury South East

Came here for a hot chocolate & it was delicious. Both my husband & I had the Hazelnut flavour. There was plenty of choice & staff were friendly. Will definitely pop in again.

As a regular to the Lady Luck, I can honestly say, the grub is great, atmosphere is cool and trendy (music-themed) but my biggest compliments go to the staff!!! What a friendly, caring and customer-dedicated team!! They put everything into making you feel so welcomed and cared for - I'd even say, they go above and beyond to help you! An example of that was one of the team members bought me a drink out of their own pocket because I couldn't afford a drink on this occasion! What a fab bunch at LL!! Highly recommend this venue when out and about in town or visiting Canterbury temporarily 😎

Food was very dry. Server was so quiet we could barely hear him speaking. At the end of the meal instead of him waiting for us to finish our drinks, he brought the bill over, typed in the amount on the cars reader and stood there waiting for payment...very rude!

First time visiting Canterbury and came here for our first dinner. The foods are amazing and the service we received from Ryan is terrific as well, so friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend this cozy place.

we'd walked past several times from the car park to the city centre and this time thought we'd try it for lunch. There's a courtyard out back for nice days and we enjoyed simple toasties and coffee. It was quite busy but the service was Ok and friendly enough. Perfectly fine.

I was there for coffee today I recommend delicious coffee and sweetness nice service a lot of space ❤❤☕☕

not the parade room i expected i still have my ears and this is an issue because i expected to leave lookin like van gogh

Absolutely loved the place!! I had the £14 deal which included two scones and coffee/tea. It was so worth the price. The scones were such good size and they had so many varieties of coffee and teas available. The scones were absolutely delicious. The service was so quick as well. Will definitely be visiting back ❤️

Fabulous old pub. Great atmosphere and excellent selection of beers. I've visited twice in the past year and had a great time on both occasions. Looking forward to my next visit.

To many of a certain kind of people

I was almost put off by the fact that you needed to wait to be seated, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. The staff were helpful and informative and they had a large array of beers, including their own. I had one of the lagers and it was excellent. The prices were fairly reasonable too, all considered.

We had really good steaks, properly cooked to our taste. Very good value! We also had breakfasts here, the Continental choice had enough variety to be satisfying and the croissants were very good.

Having read some of the reviews you would perhaps give it a miss, nit i am glad we went, some great food, not Michelin star food but good quality, Good variety and nicely served. And you areIn the theatre also you can have your desert back in the restaurant at the same table away from the crowd.

Food was excellent. Very tasty. Staff are friendly. Would recommend to eat here or even a drink
