A really quaint place right across from the Marlow Arcade Mall area. It was very busy on a Monday bank holiday weekend. Service as a result was a little slow but courteous staff. Extensive menu with a decent set of options for vegetarians and a really fresh selection of pastries/cakes.

Extraordinary expensive. So much that you feel ripped off unfortunately. 25£ for a breakfast plate with one scone 3 half Sandwiches and some Marmelade. We ordered 2 of those, 3 tea's and one coffee, and ended up payng 80£ for a mid Breakfast with mid scone and mid Tea. Its propably some kind of tourist scam where they give them fake Menu's, because they know we don't come back annyways.

Cute tearoom, a pity that it was too busy when we were there so waited quite a bit for the food to arrive. We ordered Kentish Huffkins. The portion was small and not filling, so right away we knew we would get hungry in 2 hours lol The roasted beef was kind of dry and nothing special. Service quality was uneven. A bit disappointed when we left, wondering if we should've just gone to Zizzi down the street.

Nice place to relax for a while. With a choice of hot chocolate, different types of coffee and tea, you can feel good whatever you feel like ;) This place has its own bakery where, among other things, cakes and scones are freshly prepared. A treat to see when you go to the toilet for a moment. Highly recommended!

It was such a lovely tearoom. We had the plain scones . They were so fresh and tasty . The staff was very friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our order . The building was gorgeous and it has a wonderful vibe to it . Totally worth it .

These were my first crumpets and scones and what a good teatime ! The staff members were really kind. Especially the one who advices me to test crumpets with honey (the two times we came !) and the rehead one who serve us, she was really kind too. It was a very nice time to share with my beloved one. This is a place to be !

We had the High Tea set for 2 people and was left disappointed. We were sat on a tiny round table where we resorted to placing some of our tea set onto the window sill. The crumpet with poach egg was just that... dry crumpet with a poach egg which was absolutely bland. This experience has taught me why egg and crumpet always comes with hollandaise. The scones has a problem. They made them soo big that they are dense. The dessert plate was chocolate dominant and unfortunately the only item we enjoyed was the berry with cream.

We popped into Tiny Tim’s Tearooms on a day out in Canterbury and absolutely loved it! I had the Caesar salad, which was fresh, perfectly dressed, and full of flavor. My husband went for a traditional Kentish huffkin, and he hasn’t stopped talking about it since—it was warm, soft, and full of character, just like the tearoom itself. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, with lovely staff who made us feel so welcome. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town. Highly recommend for a true local gem!

This place is an absolute gem! As a Scotsman, I've made the journey to the Tearoom three times now, literally traveling the length of the country for the amazing food. While everything is delicious every time, the real star of the show has to be the sausages! They are worth every penny spent on them, perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavour. Nowhere else does sausages like this - run, don’t walk to this lovely tearoom as you are truly missing out on a heavenly experience. It also must be noted of course: The staff were delightful and the food was served quickly and the overall experience had here was 10/10.

Found this tearoom by chance on the first day of our weekend in Canterbury and were very pleased that we did. Came back a couple of times as the staff were so nice and the food very good. In particular the Tiny Tim's Plump Pilgrim, a homemade scone, which we would recommend. Lots of options from breakfast to pastries to lunch and afternoon tea. Obviously a popular place as it was very busy all the time.

Lovely place, ideal for meeting up for brunch. Great food and absolutely gorgeous cake!! We are glad we emailed to book a table as it was busy and the queue got quite long. We will definitely be back

Booked in advance, as advised, for 2 vegan cream tea's. Turned up and were seated. Our tea arrived and 15 minutes later, when our tea was cold, our cream teas were served. Firstly the tower contraption they are delivered on is downright ridiculous, it's so tall it's face height so everyone is sitting with this thing right in front of them. One of our party is allergic to strawberries, so asked if they had an alternative, they said after checking that all their other jam contains gelatin? It wasn't a huge deal so I dashed to Marks and Spencers food hall and bought some (none of their jam contained gelatin) The scones are huge, more like rock cakes, and as soon as I cut into mine it disintegrated into crumbs and small pieces. The first vegan scone was horrible, hard and dense and was out aside . The second was heavy, claggy and undercooked. The third and fourth were edible. I've had a similar experience there before, as have many of the reviewers on Trip Advisor, clearly this establishment has zero respect for customers as the continue to turn out the same inconsistent, crumbly, huge scones... Mine came with butter, jam and cream. The vegan cream teas that were ordered in advance came with jam and vegan 'butter', or marge and no cream. Yes you read that correctly, a pre-ordered vegan cream tea served without any cream. At £15.95 it's not the cheapest cream tea, and the worst I have encountered since I last visited 10 years, I was hoping they would have improved. Vegan cream tea was charged at the same price despite it lacking any cream. The manager was fairly unimpressed when I complained, but he gave us a 50% discount which was a gesture, however it didn't make up for my family members who had been looking forward to their vegan cream teas since the day before when we'd ordered them. If you're more impressed by quantity than quality then go ahead, otherwise give it a wide berth especially if you're vegan.

Absolutely loved the place!! I had the £14 deal which included two scones and coffee/tea. It was so worth the price. The scones were such good size and they had so many varieties of coffee and teas available. The scones were absolutely delicious. The service was so quick as well. Will definitely be visiting back ❤️

Really love going to Tiny Tim’s. Great atmosphere, lovely friendly helpful staff. Food is really good and reasonably priced. Love the quirky building and the haunted history. Can’t understand the poor reviews as we’ve never had a bad experience here. Looking forward to our next visit!

One of my favourite places in Canterbury, whatever the occasion. Charismatic atmosphere. Beautiful-tasting food, generous portions, all served by attentive, friendly staff.

First time visiting and we loved it! We had the Afternoon Tea for two which was delicious - featuring the biggest scones I have ever seen, sandwiches, cakes, and an impressive selection of teas and coffees. Our waitress was lovely and very attentive, and so was the gentleman who greeted us at the door. We'll definitely be returning on our next visit to Canterbury!

Nice haunted cafe. The cake was good as was the service. Interesting building with ghosts of 3 children who died there. There is a room on the second floor where evidence behind some panels

Was visiting with a friend and hopped in for some afternoon tea, the staff were so helpful with advising us about portion sizes and I can say- they were right! One serving of afternoon tea was more than enough between the two of us. The Raspberry Apple scone was delicious and so large we almost couldn’t finish it, and the finger sandwiches were so fresh with classic fillings! We got the Tiny Tim’s House-blend for our tea and loved it. Overall, Cosy Interiors, great food and excellent service:))

Lovely place for a classic scone. Their house scone (with blueberry and lime) is delicious (don’t forget the extra clotted cream!). Also nice selection of hot chocolates with fantasy. Beautiful setting.

The three of us were there spontaneously and got a table straight away. On the second visit we discovered the haunted room by chance - an absolute must! Food and drink very tasty, relaxed atmosphere. We particularly liked the scones and avocado toast. The sourdough bread that comes with some of the dishes is also delicious.

Very nicely decorated tearoom where we had a fantastic cake and traditional scones. An area for improvement would be the service for drinks, they could ask for that more often, although we (Dutch) had that more often in England.

My friend and I visited Tiny Tim's Tearoom after cycling from Rainham to Canterbury and and before catching our train home. We were limited in time before having to catch our train, but in our time there we were very impressed with the service, the food and the atmosphere of the tea room. The tea in the tea pot was real (tea leaves)! You get a large tea pot, tea strainer and little handleless metal cup to rest the tea strainer on after pouring your tea ( or between cups ) The large fruit scone was lovely and crusty on the outside, fresh inside and with plenty of fruit. The butter and jam were generous amounts. Nothing comes to mind which was just OK about my visit. I recommend Tiny Tim's and I'll be back one day !

Came in for dessert on a Sunday afternoon. Table service. Had a huge plain scone with jam and cream. Big tea menu to select from. Whilst it was busy, there was no pressure to eat quickly and leave, cafe has an upstairs and garden seating.

I decided to visit this cafe as it seems to be famous for being haunted. The food I ordered seemed to be local cuisine, but the bread was fluffy, the meat inside was delicious (like KFC), and the chips and salad were also very delicious! Lunch was around 15 pounds per person. As a side note, there is a haunted room and a bathroom on the third floor, but I was surprised at how steep the slope was.

My favourite place to take visiting friends and family in Canterbury. No need to pre-book. The cheese scones are super delicious, I keep going back just for them. I've tried different teas, they never disappoint. Nuts allergy friendly.

I organised for 10 friends including myself to have afternoon tea here. The experience was wonderful. The food is delicious and the staff are amazing, running around to give all customers the loveliest experience despite being rushed off their feet at such a popular busy place. Sweet little place with friendly staff and quaint decor but unfortunately just too overpriced for what it was. So many places to eat in Canterbury so will be trying somewhere else next time.

Best and the biggest scones in town!

Had a late lunch here yesterday. The food was delicious. I had sultana scones with jam and cream and they were the best scones I've had in years...and they were enormous. The cafe is in a lovely old building, with an interesting history. And the staff are fantastic too. We had a waiter named Ben, who was so kind and attentive and really made our visit enjoyable.

Very cozy place. Nice staff and wonderful pieces of cake. Can really be recommended for a simple coffee or afternoon tea.

Quirky Super place, first time customer and we're be returning next time we are in Canters. Staff were excellent, friendly, professional and the service received was top notch. Teas were really nice, certainly different and there was plenty for two cups. Scones were of a good standard although one totally fell into pieces. Jam and butter were superb. £35 for 2 x teas, 1 x coffee & 3 x scones. Expensive, maybe, but was quality 👍

We had a lovely Afternoon Tea, High Tea and Gentlemen Tea there. The staff was attentive and helpful. All the food was delicious. We were extremely full afterwards.

Really cute interior. Only ate there for cakes. The cakes were frankly abysmal. We should have heeded warning from the woman sat next to us who had not touched hers… Carrot cake in particular was an absolute miss - couple of bites and couldn’t eat anymore of it. Stodgy and cheesy, little flavour. They really would benefit from a new baker / new baking cookbook. Also would not recommend cafe 35 next door.

If you want a traditional old fashioned English tea room then this is the place to go. Lovely interior, lovely staff, charming, quaint garden at the rear. Lovely tradional menu for lunch snacks as well as the extensive tea menu. Been twice now and have had the rarebit on sourdough both times.

Ohh a must visit when in Cantebury - you are going to love it! The variety of teas, the selection of delicious cakes with warm custard, the choices of fresh Kentish buns with chicken or the aubergine-halloumi - everything was a treat to the palette and your soul. I have to go back to try other things on the menu.

It was very busy so we waited for a little bit which was fine. The staff are friendly. A great experience and we didn’t feel rushed at all!

It’s antique and the scones are a must. Tea can also be used, but it will be bitter if brewed for too long.

Our pot of tea for two was very strong. The mixed berry scones were HUGE. The clotted creme fresh and jam not too sweet. Some outside seating for fair weather.

it’s a typically English place in the center of Canterbury. There is a wide choice of teas, each more promising than the last. As for the Full English Breakfast, it lived up to our expectations. The only regret is paying a bill in which a 10% tip is included by default! And, as tourists, you don't realize it until it's too late!

Looking for something special, Tiny Tim's is a must. Great food, an excellent selection of tea as you would expect, and speciality coffees. There are plenty of cakes and the service is excellent. Did I mention the GHOST room. There is so much history in the building, it's full of character and to top things off, a live pianist. I will definitely be back to sample one of the amazing looking afternoon teas.

Wonderful, delicious scones! Ordered a high tea for one, which comes with two scones (one plain and one with sultanas), butter, jam and clotted cream. However the scones are massive, so I managed to eat only one and took the second one with me to eat later.

The place has a perfect vibe for tea time. It is a place to go with friends as well as with parents. Their scones are just amazing and you should not miss trying it. They also serve a variety of teas which are perfect with the scones to fill your tummy.
