Fint sted, hyggelig bakhage. Verdens beste scones - helt fantastiske! Men store. Og det er nok derfor jeg ikke har gitt stedet full score. Flott sted, men After Noon-tea var ikke helt fulltreffer. Altfor store scones, biter, mat. Tjukke tekopp er òg servise. AfterNoon-tea skal være petit og elegant. Men spis scones der - finnes ikke bedre på jord!

Nice place to relax for a while. With a choice of hot chocolate, different types of coffee and tea, you can feel good whatever you feel like ;) This place has its own bakery where, among other things, cakes and scones are freshly prepared. A treat to see when you go to the toilet for a moment. Highly recommended!

These were my first crumpets and scones and what a good teatime ! The staff members were really kind. Especially the one who advices me to test crumpets with honey (the two times we came !) and the rehead one who serve us, she was really kind too. It was a very nice time to share with my beloved one. We popped into Tiny Tim’s Tearooms on a day out in Canterbury and absolutely loved it! I had the Caesar salad, which was fresh, perfectly dressed, and full of flavor. My husband went for a traditional Kentish huffkin, and he hasn’t stopped talking about it since—it was warm, soft, and full of character, just like the tearoom itself. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, with lovely staff who made us feel so welcome. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town. Highly recommend for a true local gem!

We had the High Tea set for 2 people and was left disappointed. We were sat on a tiny round table where we resorted to placing some of our tea set onto the window sill. The crumpet with poach egg was just that... dry crumpet with a poach egg which was absolutely bland. This experience has taught me why egg and crumpet always comes with hollandaise. The scones has a problem. They made them soo big that they are dense. The dessert plate was chocolate dominant and unfortunately the only item we enjoyed was the berry with cream.

This place is an absolute gem! As a Scotsman, I've made the journey to the Tearoom three times now, literally traveling the length of the country for the amazing food. While everything is delicious every time, the real star of the show has to be the sausages! They are worth every penny spent on them, perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavour. Nowhere else does sausages like this - run, don’t walk to this lovely tearoom as you are truly missing out on a heavenly experience. It also must be noted of course: The staff were delightful and the food was served quickly and the overall experience had here was 10/10.

Found this tearoom by chance on the first day of our weekend in Canterbury and were very pleased that we did. Came back a couple of times as the staff were so nice and the food very good. In particular the Tiny Tim's Plump Pilgrim, a homemade scone, which we would recommend. Lots of options from breakfast to pastries to lunch and afternoon tea. Obviously a popular place as it was very busy all the time.

Booked in advance, as advised, for 2 vegan cream tea's. Turned up and were seated. Our tea arrived and 15 minutes later, when our tea was cold, our cream teas were served. Firstly the tower contraption they are delivered on is downright ridiculous, it's so tall it's face height so everyone is sitting with this thing right in front of them. One of our party is allergic to strawberries, so asked if they had an alternative, they said after checking that all their other jam contains gelatin? It wasn't a huge deal so I dashed to Marks and Spencers food hall and bought some (none of their jam contained gelatin) The scones are huge, more like rock cakes, and as soon as I cut into mine it disintegrated into crumbs and small pieces. The first vegan scone was horrible, hard and dense and was out aside . The second was heavy, claggy and undercooked. The third and fourth were edible. I've had a similar experience there before, as have many of the reviewers on Trip Advisor, clearly this establishment has zero respect for customers as the continue to turn out the same inconsistent, crumbly, huge scones... Mine came with butter, jam and cream. The vegan cream teas that were ordered in advance came with jam and vegan 'butter', or marge and no cream. Yes you read that correctly, a pre-ordered vegan cream tea served without any cream. At £15.95 it's not the cheapest cream tea, and the worst I have encountered since I last visited 10 years, I was hoping they would have improved. Vegan cream tea was charged at the same price despite it lacking any cream. The manager was fairly unimpressed when I complained, but he gave us a 50% discount which was a gesture, however it didn't make up for my family members who had been looking forward to their vegan cream teas since the day before when we'd ordered them. If you're more impressed by quantity than quality then go ahead, otherwise give it a wide berth especially if you're vegan.

My friend and I visited Tiny Tim's Tearoom after cycling from Rainham to Canterbury and and before catching our train home. We were limited in time before having to catch our train, but in our time there we were very impressed with the service, the food and the atmosphere of the tea room. The tea in the tea pot was real (tea leaves)! You get a large tea pot, tea strainer and little handleless metal cup to rest the tea strainer on after pouring your tea ( or between cups ) The large fruit scone was lovely and crusty on the outside, fresh inside and with plenty of fruit. The butter and jam were generous amounts. Nothing comes to mind which was just OK about my visit. I recommend Tiny Tim's and I'll be back one day !

I love this place, it's the epitome of a little English tearoom. The staff are always great, the atmosphere is wonderful, with piano music (sometimes live!) and a charming, cosy feel. The food is wonderful, with a great range of choice to suit all tastes and budgets. The crown jewel though is, of course, their cream tea. The scones are enormous and also incredibly tasty, always fresh enough to break apart, the perfect texture of crispness on the outside and a little dense in the middle but not too heavy, just as a scone should. The amount of jam, butter and clotted cream to go along with them is also very generous. The tea menu is extensive, many of the teas on offer are local, as is much of the ingredients in their food and it shows. I can't recommend this place enough. It's my first go to whenever I have anyone visiting me from outside Canterbury and everyone always comments on what a charming lunch destination it is.

I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s a relaxed cosy place to be. Sat at the bar watching them pour your drinks or cook your food is lovely. The food is delicious and because some are small plates you can have several of them. Drinks are great and the staff are helpful and friendly. We have been there several times and will keep on going back it’s such a joy to be there.

We wee staying near by celebrating my husband's 77th birthday, I noticed that at 11 each morning they have a tour of their kitchen garden, which we found very interesting, it lasted about 30 mins, so I had booked a table for lunch at 12. Firstly what a beautiful old building the hotel is, lots of carved wooden staircases, it was lovely and warm inside on a cold day. We were taken through to the dinning room, and shown to out table. It is very rustic, comfortable and lots of interesting things to look at. We were given the menu, and I had to ask for the lunchtime special menu, which we ate from. We both chose a very nice terrine, followed by hake for the birthday boy, and shoulder of lamb for me, both nice portions tassty and hot, we ordered a side of chips in a pot, and the most incredible new potatoes with pickled veg. Desserts 🍨 were marmalade sponge with pouring cream, and they made me the most delicious stewed fruits as I am diabetic. All the staff were very friendly and super helpful, shame we live in Hertfordshire, and too far to come on a regular basis, that said we do visit Kent a couple of times a year so will hopefully be able to return soon. Thank you all for making my husband's birthday such a nice one

We had an amazing meal on Saturday evening—fantastic food and great service to start with, so thank you for that. Unfortunately, the experience ended on a bit of a sour note. When we went to pay, the grumpy younger blonde waitress made some strange comments (in quite an rude tone tbh) about how often I’d been to the toilet during the meal (which was twice over two hours). She brought it up in front of my partner and kept going with it even after I tried to laugh it off, which made things a bit uncomfortable. It just felt unnecessary and a little out of place, especially in an otherwise lovely setting. Might be worth a quick word with her, as most people probably wouldn’t appreciate that kind of comment—especially in a restaurant of this standard.

A group of 10 of us, plus 1 child, dined here on Sunday to celebrate a friends birthday. Not everyone had a starter. Those of us that had starters, thought they were very good. Majority of us chose a Roast, which was Duck, Lamb and Beef. We all thought the roast meat was delicious, property cooked and tender. Roast potatoes were plus mixed vegetables, couple of us had a side of cauliflower cheese which was spot on. We found the service good, we weren't in a particular hurry but can't say it was slow. All the waiting staff we encounter were pleasant, helpful and professional. At the end we had some birthday cake (which we supplied) so we couldn't manage deserts. It was busy but not uncomfortable, in fact, thought there was a lovely atmosphere there. Think it's the perfect place for a Sunday lunch and drink. I'd suggest booking a table in advance. I would strongly recommend it and will definitely be back.

Popped in after a walk around the nearby nature reserve, we had not booked a table, the staff were really friendly, we had the Sunday lunch which was amazing and really good value, we would certainly eat there again
